Sucked to see my iggles fumble away a chance at victory last night, but some small comfort that my qb this week was Russell Wilson who was kicking eagle ass and chewing bubblegum, and I think he was all out of bubblegum...

So I really like the idea of doing an airdrop every full moon it's awesome but I was just wondering what is the concept of the full moon with byteball why are the two related I see the application has a full moon as it's icon other than that I don't really understand can anyone tell me?

I think it's just supposed to play on the cryptocurrency moon meme.

lol oh ok, what is the cryptocurrency moon meme I've never seen it can you post it?

I mean, a meme isn't just a picture with words. Just how phrases like "to the Moon" are pervasive on this forum and elsewhere cryptocurrency is discussed.

You are looking at the wrong chart 😘
Check out the euro-nlg chart. 🎉

Who cares about dirty fiat?

Haha the typical reaction of an crypto-idiot. It's only good if the BTC value of a crypto is rising? What a disaster for you this year.  Tongue
Even Rich Pissmann has admitted that the value increase of Gulden was much bigger than BTC this last year.  Grin

How can the value increase of NLG be much bigger than BTC over the last year if it's gone down like 10x certain BTC over the past year. Do you even math bro?

Looks like a pretty good investment of BTC for the year 2017 to me. I mean, charts don't lie right?   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: December 02, 2017, 07:14:44 PM
Due to the war between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash being the center of all cryptocurrency market, many investors are moving their assets to a safer currency like Monero.

Lol wat. That's like saying due to the war between China and <insert banana republic here> investors are moving their assets to the United States.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AEON [2017-10-07: update to 0.9.14.0] on: December 01, 2017, 07:12:37 PM
Could someone tell how to compile AEON wallet from source to Linux Ubuntu.

I think you should basically just need to install cmake, boost libraries, and build-essential package, cd into aeon directory and type "make"
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AEON [2017-10-07: update to 0.9.14.0] on: November 29, 2017, 02:21:11 AM
Will there be any signature bounty for AEON? I am really excited about AEON and heavily invest. Would feel good to enter a signature campaign for spreading the word about AEON.

Yes, I will give you 0 AEON for signature. This is not an ICO scam promotion thread. GTFO if you don't understand it.

I'm now offering a bounty signature where if you make one million posts with a legendary giant signature I'll send you the princely sum of 0.456 aeon.

View only wallet only monitors incoming XMR, not money that you spend though.

I'm not complaining, but honestly that doesn't provide much clarity. New secret method coming maybe soon, and next airdrop in March except maybe if one guy changes his mind.
Looks like a complaint to me Wink

I'm really not. I have never bought any but still holding all coins and accumulated interest from first airdrop. Traded a few blackbytes for regular ones just to try out chat bot.

Does coinpayments.net support byteball? It's website is being blocked in the state I'm currently visiting. Would it be possible to have them participate in cash back thing?

Thanks for the clarity and good luck.

It is the same question why Bitcoin values so much while other PoW coins do only have a market cap of 1 million.
IOTA has gained a lot of attention in industries and business since its inception. A lot of big companies (Innogy, Bosch, Samsung to name only three) are associated with IOTA (if they're really involved into IOTA is a another quesiton). Also a lot of well-known advisors joined IOTA Foundation. So it is a completely different situation to Byteball. You can not compare both, maybe technology-wise but not marketcap-wise.

why iota marketcap so high?

and same technology byteball marketcap is so low???
I think this is because IOTA got large amount of money from big investors, anyway I guess that these large investors wil see the huge potential of Byteball as well....sooner or later Smiley

This is just wrong. The top three and six out of the top ten crypto by marketcap are PoW.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 19, 2017, 11:57:21 PM
This is way off topic but I have bitcoin paper wallets that I want to split the bcash from and buy more monero. Whats the best way to go about doing this?

https://github.com/Bitcoin-ABC/bitcoin-abc and have fun downloading the full bitcoin blockchain, then just import your private keys.

You don't need to sync. Move Bitcoin to new addresses, then import old private keys in electrum cash wallet.

I'd hate to rain down on your parade but in case of bytes, powers of two actually make sense. It was not lazy. Whoever later "decided" that 1 KB = 1000 bytes was a moron, whenever it's published on NIST or not. It's not used by anyone. Universities don't teach it that way. Your operating system (whenever if it's windows or linux) doesn't show it that way. 1 KB = 1000 bytes is only in the head of some senile bureaucrats that don't understand technology and memory alignment. Just because a bureaucrat says the earth is flat it doesn't mean it is. You can't wish it that way, just like you can't make a memory chip that holds exactly 1000 bytes of information. Bytes are stored in binary. That's the reality.

Actually, while windows has always expressed sizes in powers of 2, I'm looking at a linux machine right now (xubuntu 16.04 specifically) which expresses them in powers of 10 and I remember it being this way for years, accross various distros

It's not a windows/linux thing, it's more of a hard disk/memory thing:

A nice addition in our Bot Store.  Again, from an independent developer.

Byteball-Altcoin Exchange Bot

Exchange over 60 altcoins to Bytes, Bytes to altcoins, or altcoins to altcoins. Receive your coins as fast as the network confirms your transaction. The fee is only 0.75%.  Powered by Changelly.

Developer: Robert Huber, http://byteball-exchange-bot.com

Why should you use this? Fee at Bittrex is just 0.25% and you got a lot of ALTs there

Because it's trustless, decentralized.

Using changelly is certainly not trustless or decentralized. One reason to use it is to avoid registration and kyc requirements exchanges such as bittrex have, but you could do that by using changelly or shapeshift directly as well.

I see that any analysis is "poor house" or "meme analysis". But when any moronero says that this ShortMeMore will cost 1000 usd next year the belivers and prayers got JIZZ in their pants... This is stupid as moronero can be stupid and it shows why this crap looses to sth like dash. This is because the believers believe, hodlers hodl. All of them loose more opportunities to win. Meanwhile the noMore price holds 0.02 lvl as predicted.

Remember morons. Moronero will cost 1000 usd when dash will cost 4000.

Not sure if the misspellings and stuff are due to actual poor English, or if it's intentional to make lexical analysis difficult or just to piss off grammar Nazis.

Anyway, I don't post here much, but the way I see current situation is that Bitcoin Cash is about to deflate, and there will be crypto money looking for places to go. Of course much will go back to Bitcoin and fiat, but I expect with upcoming announcements re: multisig, hw wallets, globee and mymonero (maybe?), that XMR will start the new year closer to 0.03 than 0.02, but I'm usually wrong, so probably want to sell the 🏠 now.
