Czyli.. Można odzyskać.
7  Local / Polski / Re: Odzyskiwanie kyptowalut ze scamów/hacków on: November 12, 2019, 08:16:37 AM
No ciekawa sprawa.

Tylko teraz jak oni działają?! Jedyną opcją jest prześledzenie transakcji aż do miejsca w którym złodziej wymienia ukradzione krypto na fiaty na giełdzie która wymaga KYC.
Na chłopski rozum - kto by to zrobił?!

No nic innego nie widzę..

Okay, out of curiosity i did try to check out the site and i do saw that this do pertains about exchange hack service? or you do include other forms of hack like personal wallet
being ripped off by somebody?

Frankly speaking where its really hard to trust up new service in regards to recovery of stolen funds.Hence, these are almost impossible things to be done unless if you do really fought hardly on legal way and had enough funds to support it up but if not then its really hard to consider it out.

All cases, not only hacks/scams.

13  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance with new partner on: October 09, 2019, 08:00:08 AM
Its already implemented

I'm sure they're already implementing Coinfirm's software, but they must be ignoring the FATF thresholds for now. I haven't seen any changes to their KYC verification tiers -- that's what matters. They're still allowing 2 BTC ($16,500) per day withdrawals with no verification or recipient info required. I wonder for how much longer...

Yep, but it's gonna be monitoring transactions - AML, not changes in Binance KYC process.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / AML in cryptocurrency pump? on: September 20, 2019, 10:38:54 AM
What do you think about AML in cryptocurrencies?

Cryptocurrencies can increase their functionality by introducing AML. Various entities using cryptocurrencies can gain a lot and grow thanks to the introduction of AML (e.g. exchanges, markets, payment processors). Coinfirm creates these opportunities.

Ripple, the largest single owner of the XRP cryptocurrency, has signed a deal with regulation technology company Coinfirm, to shine new light on how the third-largest cryptocurrency is being used. Who next?

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Q&A with Coinfirm about Ripple future, Coingecko data on: September 13, 2019, 07:47:23 AM
Today Q&A (13th September 2019 - 16:00 CET)  will take place with the co-founder of Coinfirm and AMLT Token. Coinfirm cooperates with Ripple on AML,
Coingecko with exchange risk and many more.

How does it look with XRP?

Within the investigation, Coinfirm will reveal information such as whether XRP has been processed by a "mixer" — a technology developed to make transactions more difficult to trace and therefore easier to launder crypto — clustering, which enables a user to send small amounts of currency through many different addresses — as well as whether the funds come from a known theft or hack.

How does it look with Coingecko?
CoinGecko and Coinfirm will better highlight exchange activity and security while giving users the ability to report scams, hacks, and fraud into the AMLT Network.

What do you think:
Will Ripple grow its implementation range thanks to this collaboration?
Will Ripple increase security and transparency?

18  Economy / Speculation / CoinGecko big step for data reliability of exchanges (cooperation with AMLT) on: August 20, 2019, 12:45:25 PM
Crypto market aggregator CoinGecko has joined the network of blockchain analytics and anti-money laundering (AML) company Coinfirm. This partnership will reportedly allow CoinGecko to improve its exchange Trust Score algorithm, as well as provide users with a means to report scams and hacks.

CoinGecko (https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/binance#risk_rating):

CoinGecko users will also reportedly have the option to report crypto addresses themselves, in a system like the foregoing one provided for AMLT network members. Individual users will be able to submit information on scams and hacks tied to crypto addresses, via a widget, and will likewise be rewarded in AMLT tokens.

Coinfirm AMLT also rewards the cryptocurrency community for reporting dangerous addresses:

The rankings often overstate the volumes of exchanges, which can mislead investors. There are often voices in forums that CMC overstates volumes. CoinGecko has a bit more information and more reliable. What do you think about that?

Cooperation with Coinfirm AMLT will bring new light on all irregularities in the cryptocurrency world. Take a look at their analysis:

20  Bitcoin / Press / [2019-08-14] Regulating Crypto Exchanges: Mind The Gaps on: August 16, 2019, 07:40:53 AM
Coinfirm - recently published (the full report is available here -> https://coinfirm-prod.objects.frb.io/assets/Coinfirm_Exchange_Report_March_2019_Public.pdf) the results of a survey that showed only 14 percent of 216 global cryptocurrency exchanges are licensed by regulators.  The low coverage may not surprise anyone when considering the frequency of thefts, frauds and market manipulations that crypto exchanges in many jurisdictions disclose publicly.

Source: https://coinfirm-prod.objects.frb.io/assets/Coinfirm_Exchange_Report_March_2019_Public.pdf

The statistic partly reflects the fact that regulators and supervisory bodies around the world are still getting to grips with how to regulate cryptocurrencies (assets) and associated financial intermediaries.  They face a number of challenges in their task:

-> Leveraging financial innovation while mitigating risks

-> Status of cryptocurrencies unclear

-> Fragmentation of U.S. regulatory system

-> Financial technology innovation

Do you think that more exchanges will implement regulations to be safer?
