2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google Is Illegally Spying On People On The Internet on: April 17, 2016, 10:57:35 AM
It is highly more likely they will just find more subtle ways of collecting the info. Or try to entice them into using it out of school where it can be monitored. If you will spy on college students , you will spy on anyone.
P.S. I'm sorry, but you were using GMAIL for goodness' sake. What did you expect?
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Poll: Which religion is the best religion? on: April 17, 2016, 07:49:24 AM
At the very least, a religion that does not preach that it alone has exclusive truth; any religion that does not have a concept of hell; and any religion that does not have a god that acts like a human.
I'm cool with Unitarian Universalism, some forms of Taoism and Buddhism, and Quaker Christianity. Jainism is ok but I could never adapt to their diet, but at least they've gone 2500 years without any religious conflict.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A German comedian could be sent to jail for insulting the Turkish president on: April 16, 2016, 08:49:46 PM
What happened to Germany's democracy and freedom of speech?
A foreign dictator is using the German legal system to silence critics? Is Germany serious?
Wonder who's in charge of Germany?
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Scientology on: April 16, 2016, 07:04:29 PM
It is a dangerous cult that has more in common with fantasy games than a church and to anybody considering scientology don't it is an evil con full of lies withy the only goal of getting your money.
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you see marriage as a business transaction? (Be honest). on: April 16, 2016, 10:43:54 AM
My vote is that marriage isn't the most important issue. Bringing children in to the world is.
If people aren't planning on having kids, then it seems wise to be realistic, and plan for potential problems ahead of time. Perhaps requiring a prenup is offensive, but then resisting one is too. The couple should navigate this in any way that works for them.
Kids are a different matter. If the parties are not willing to split all assets 50/50, then they aren't in a position to have kids. To me, a prenup defines a state where the couple is committed enough to give it a try, but not committed enough to have kids.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: April 16, 2016, 09:11:57 AM
I personally believe in Bitcoin potentiality, but this kind of numbers makes people and potential investors very skeptical in all bitcoin as a ecosystem.
I personally find damaging for Bitcoin reputation to predict such values.
Actually bitcoin in an emerging technology, maybe in 5 years there will be an enhanced blockchain or something totally new.

Hopefully no nuclear reactors in its path this time.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are all women leaders so fucking terrible... on: April 16, 2016, 08:53:33 AM
Female leadership gets criticise & judged harshly, by both men and women alike.
It comes from a feeling within individuals that female leadership does not 'sit right'. Female leadership feels 'wrong' at a primal, 'gut' level.
Female leadership feels 'risky'.
Humans don't have an evolutionary experience with women leading groups.

11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what do you think who will start the World War 3 ? on: April 14, 2016, 07:59:16 PM
ISIS 🔫

I don't think ISIS is trying to start WW3 I think the western alliance is trying to start it and ISIS is the mechanism. Between us giving them weapons and Turkey buying their oil, these barbarians don't know what to do with themselves. Heck they've been fighting for centuries and now they have real weapons not just sticks and stones
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hillary Clinton on: April 14, 2016, 10:53:43 AM
I’m tired of the same people showing up as if they are entitled. What experience? The whole time she was senator she was running for president. Never even tried to run for governor which is a true test of a person’s ability to lead. Also she is much too old for such a demanding job.
13  Economy / Lending / Re: .12 BTC Loan Needed, Repayment of .13 on: April 11, 2016, 11:17:26 PM
Could you please inform me what I could be using as collateral?

I forgot to mention, 3 day period needed.

For a newbie it's hard for you to get loan without good collateral (example another cryptocurrency) and trust.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: April 10, 2016, 09:30:36 AM
It's not just that people just don't like change (unless it's the coin kind).  Heck I can't get my Mom away from rotary phones not alone use a new kind of money for things.

that's normal, people are used to old things and even afraid of new technologies, they used old phone for example for 20 years and they won't go to new phone in days

same with bitcoin, we use fiat for ages now and it will be very, very hard to make people change to bitcoin because it is still new to them

I couldn't agree more.
"Internet will never affect education and government, how nobody will ever get their news online over a good ol' fashioned newspaper, and how the concept of selling a product online is an absolute impossibility." - remember what Newsweek wrote about internet (1995).

Same relevance for how some people think about bitcoin today.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MADE IN CHINA on: April 07, 2016, 04:42:24 PM
I keep wondering when U.S. companies are going to wise up and start in reinvesting the United States, which used to be the envy of the world when it came to high-quality manufacturing. I'm not holding my breath though, because while U.S. executives are busy examining their own polyps, Chinese executives are laughing all the way to the bank, which BTW they now own.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: April 07, 2016, 04:10:00 PM
Do not forget the firing of the White House travel department so she could give the work to her friends. Also, how she treats the secret service people assigned to protect her.

If you have a link about this it would be cool.

17  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: April 07, 2016, 04:03:34 PM
Truly wealthy people develop the habit of “getting rich slow” rather than “getting rich quick.” To assure this, they have two rules with regard to money. Rule number one: Don’t lose money. Rule number two: If ever you feel tempted, refer back to rule number one, “don’t lose money.”
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: April 07, 2016, 03:48:52 PM
as i am a newbie.. i know nothing about trading... what should i do to start trading and multiply my btc.. guys please help me

Make your own decisions.

I figured the most important bit of advice should come first. Following the choices of others is a very bad idea. Many traders will use social media as a way to manipulate markets by spreading bad investment advice in order to lower the prices. I strongly recommend you make your own decisions on when to invest and when to sell.

Do your research.

There are a huge number of different sites dedicated to monitoring the price of Bitcoin with features such as order depths, candlestick charts and much more. These sites are extremely helpful when it comes to reading trend lines and general market analysis.

Do not go all in.

Only invest money that you are fine with potentially losing. Over the years, many traders have made the big mistake of investing everything they have and losing it. There have been people that have even sold their houses for Bitcoin. While some have invested lots of money into Bitcoin at the right time, it does not mean you will end up with the same fortune. Start with small amounts of money and once you get the hang of trading you can increase the amount.

Start with Altcoins.

Altcoins are alternative cryptocurrencies that tend to be significantly cheaper than Bitcoin. Due to the general stable and high price of Bitcoin, any real profits aren’t going to be that noticeable unless you invest heavily. However, with certain Altcoins, investing could lead to a much higher profit.

Take advantage of the Internet.

If you have no idea how trading works then there are many useful videos on YouTube/ tutorials on the Internet that can teach you to understand the essentials in order to get started. Due to the similarities between cryptocurrency trading and stock trading, it shouldn’t be hard at all to find a tutorial that can explain candlestick charts and order depths.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: April 06, 2016, 11:06:54 PM
For us, true Bitcoin fanatics, explaining Bitcoin to the friends can be challenging and often as effective as talking to a wall.
