I see your douche twins and I raise you, the new whales of bitcoins LMAO

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought. What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

Found out my problem, had to export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100.

Thanks

All the Pools ?

The pools that I've tried.

I'm also consistantly getting a lower hashrate on the coinotron website that what guiminer-script is reporting. It pretty much cut my prifit in half today.

What's causing this, is it fixable, how and when ?

If this doesn't get fixed i'll take my workers elsewhere.

All the pools report back like 10 times lower than what CGminer says for me when mining LTC, and I get about 10 times less coins than I should to. It's very frustrating.

Why are you even bothering making this thread if you think LTC is nothing?

Hi, im mining at this pool now with my 3 workers, they have a combined power of about 900Mh/s, the last 12 hours i only earned 0.01075635 LTC ... that's low. According to a LTC calculator i should get about 1,8-1,9 LTC for that period? I hope to see better results. Will mine on this pool for a few days until my new hardware arrives. Cheers

I have the same problem, left my PC on over night at about 300KH/s according to CGMiner.

My current account balance, which is from way more than what I did last night: 0.024901459999999997 LTC

Hello,
I'm mining LTC with a Radeon 5850 clocked at 575MHz(1.038v)/700MHz(GDDR5).
CGminer show actual khash 210.4K/s in real time, but Coinotron website it seems very low (like 28K/s).

What's the problem?
This is the command line:
cgminer -d 0 -I 12 -v 1 -w 128 -o stratum+tcp://coinotron.com:3334 -u xxx -p xxx --scrypt

Catalyst 13.2/AMD SDK 2.5/Windows 8.

It is not a block difficulty, it is a share difficulty Smiley
ATM there are on average 205*65536 shares (of difficulty 1) needed to solve LTC block.
So you need 205*65536/64 shares on Coinotron's diff to solve a block.  (not 2 or 3 )

I mean hashrate on my account page vs hashrate on my client.
i'm not sure what you mean :/

Thanks

(ATM, with pure cgminer client, hashrate seems ok on website).

I have the same problem, Coinotron says 28KH/s. CGMiner says 280 Kh/s.

Is it still worth mining with GPU now that ASICs are out?

ASICs are hardly out. Check out some calculators, so you can see for yourself that mining is not dead.

Yet.

In a month or two, the answer might be different.

The ASICs that are coming out are for bitcoin, not litecoin.

You have to find a block, so when you are mining yourself, you have to wait till it finds a whole block, you don't get anything till you find the block.

Does Xarchiver do that?

I'd stay away from WINE.

Pretty sure files aren't encrypted on Dropbox's servers, maybe encrypted on the journy.

I'd gpg -c the wallet.dat and use a strong password before trusting other people with it.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: wallet.dat virus on: June 17, 2011, 06:16:03 PM
Not the wallet the program is currently reading from.

But for back up wallets, you can use gpg

gpg -c wallet.dat

Supporting encrypted wallet.dats would be a nice feature though.
