Interesting... Looking forward on this one
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Neurai [XNA] - Layer1 Blockchain 🟣 KAWPOW - GPU mining on: July 15, 2023, 07:00:17 PM
I love the fact that this project try to tickle with Simple, but powerfull, IoT device like the ESP family.

That was a worry for me to see all centralized company developping trademark device for something decentralize lol...

Making infrastructure and hardware opensource/decentralize is the way to go
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Neurai [XNA] - Layer1 Blockchain 🟣 KAWPOW - GPU mining on: July 15, 2023, 06:34:47 PM
2 month of pre-mine and kawpaw algo, how about no?

You can see their twitter, they announce the project back in april, so no premine.

As for kawpow algo I think its great since so many people have sell their GPU to buy cpu or FPGA and bloating all those new core algo coin only, great opportunity for GPU miner here imo
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WildRig Multi 0.36.6 beta multi-algo miner for AMD & NVIDIA on: March 02, 2023, 12:04:14 AM
Hey, can't find the information, but can we dual mine Radiant + ZIL using AMD cards ?

Appreciate
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Radiant [RXD] - Layer1 blockchain 🔵 SHA512-256 - PoW - GPU/ASIC mining on: September 26, 2022, 06:23:23 PM
Project really promising.
Mining since half september and bough more at 0.001, lets see it shine !!!  Grin

Samara Web5 wallet and swap is coming boys and lads
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 3050 mining on: August 10, 2022, 03:21:13 AM
in canada the lower I see is 379.38 usd for 3060 but the shitty model with only 1 fan lol...

Price is maybe low but its not a very efficient card, I prefer buy 6700xt (474.80) same hashrate but it'll scale better with lower watt use(75w vs 115w and better cooling)

for the core subject, the 3050 is to avoid lol
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which GPU with 3Kw free energy to use? on: July 31, 2022, 02:49:59 PM
It's no more about which graphic card you will use, it's now about how much you will get them, are graphic cards cheap enough in your country? If yes then go with those that have higher hashrate less power consumption for example

1660 supers.
3070
A2000
RX6600XT

Fallowing that everything on amd side is good choice, exception of the 6900xt

6600 6700 6800 will bring you 0.6w/h rate

If you want to go dirt cheap and full that 3k go used and maybe cheap 570 will do,30mh for 90w
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: September is already here on: July 31, 2022, 02:46:04 PM
Imo people underestimate the number of asic that there is on ethereum

big farm and private entrepreneur have develop their own miner without any public sale

Other coin is going to be okey, everything will balance imo

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 30MH for 200$ today on: July 31, 2022, 02:42:54 PM
In today's mining world is 200$ good for 30MH or its a stupid investment like a friend said.

30mhs $200 was good in 2016/2017, this cycle around $200 should be 60mhs, next cycle 90mhs minimum on etc.

I think thats delusional

gain is more into consumption side

If you can get new generation at 200 so the 6600 then its okeh.

Mining aint great anymore, it need scalling to make real buck
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 3070 TI on: July 20, 2022, 04:19:21 PM
Hello guys

Im curious for those who can push this cards +80mhs

How you do it lol ? Would like to see if some people can't reach that too

I got 4 of them and none can go over 76 stable under hiveos
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BEAM | Mimblewimble | Private | Scalable | No ICO | No Pre Mine on: January 16, 2021, 08:39:34 PM
Hey

Beam definitively look interesting, Third wave of privacy coin at only 25m cap, that give me a little vibe of 2014-15. I've put some in my portfolio as well !

I'll try to catch up the development and news that goes on Cheesy

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: December 06, 2020, 05:35:58 PM
....
Looking forward to this question too

It looks like there is no need to block tokens, this is a program to support the network.

There is a technical question - as I understand it, the port for exchanging with the network can change. For example, I have a network behind a firewall, where the rule works - "everything that is clearly not allowed is prohibited." The question is - which port forwarding do I need to do on the router so that the node can interact with the network?

Thanks for insight sir !
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: December 05, 2020, 05:12:49 PM
....
Yes, it can be run on ARM 64 as JAVA is cross-platformed, Ardor is written in JAVA. For the technical requirements head to https://ardordocs.jelurida.com/Node_Reward_Program  There are some guides how to run NXT/ARDOR nodes  on Raspberry Pi, even  solar powered one, I saw them, so you can find them easily when searching.

Thanks for the information ! I assumed that the Java project should be cross-platform, but allowed some "nuances", unfortunately ARM64 has not yet received support at the x86 / x64 level. And another question - as I understand it, to connect to this project, the node must "hold" a certain amount of coins, this is the PoS platform. If yes - how many tokens are needed to freeze on a node?

Looking forward to this question too
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [AMD] New AMD RX Graphics Cards of 2019 - RX 5700 / XT, RX 600 on: October 06, 2020, 09:31:35 PM
Rx5700 and RX5700XT are one of the best AMD graphics card for mining nowadays and I still have some respect for AMD VEGA cards as well but the problem with RX5700s are high temp, for longer life these cards aren't the best and also if you are from a hot country Nvidia cards are best for you, I prefer RX480 or RX580 Amd cards over these RX5700s, they are way too hot like 80oC to 90c that's too high.

Nah they are good, more heat output more efficient they are in winter Smiley Love em when its turning under minus 0 C
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN][CASH] A Global Reward Cryptocurrency | 100% PoW | 100% Community-Funded on: January 20, 2020, 06:41:49 PM

On personnal note

I've been involved in the cryptocurrency industry for a long time. I've seen projects come and go. Earlier last year, when I saw a bitcointalk thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5122908.0) announcing a new Mimblewimble project, naturally I was excited. It offered scalability and privacy. Two attributes of a project that I was involved with early, Ethereum, that it currently lacks.

The original launch of this project was called Litebeam and the team made the mistake of posting photos that many believed didn't belong to them. Original post was flagged and received harsh criticism by the community. This was an understandable reaction and I was very skeptical. The team immediately removed the pics from the website and you can see here the team was not intentionally attempting to mislead anyone because they were labeling the pics "PSEUDONYMOUS
Litebeam Team" https://web.archive.org/web/20190321063039/https://litebeam.org/

The team has acknowledged this mistake and rebranded the project Litecash.

You can believe what you want, but I'm here to let the BitcoinTalk community know Litecash has been nothing but honest and professional. I've been part of their Discord (https://bit.ly/litecash) since launch and have had the pleasure of watching the community grow the last 10 months. The core team has upgraded their software with several updates and recently they released their version of a whitepaper (https://lite.cash/litepaper).

Litecash's mission is to become a global reward currency.

From Litepaper:

"Imagine getting small amounts of BTC back in 2010 from your favorite restaurant for eating a $100 meal. Over time that BTC would have accumulated into a small fortune. Not only will the restaurant receive benefits from increased loyalty, consumers will have an option to redeem their Litecash (CASH) for BTC."

Big thing often come from the little but not so simple idea of solving a problem and I love to see community naturally growing around this project. Anyhow, I'm putting my credibility on the line for Litecash but you can be the judge for yourself.

From github:

Litecash is the next generation scalable, confidential cryptocurrency based on an elegant and innovative Mimblewimble protocol.

MAINNET IS LAUNCHED & ACTIVE!

****

|Features|

No premine. No ICO. No Founders Rewards. No developer rewards.
Initial block reward 275, halving after 1 year from start of mainnet, and halving thereafter every 4 years (ala BTC)
Users have complete control over privacy - users have complete control over their personal data in accordance to their will and applicable laws.
Confidentiality without penalty - confidential transactions do not cause bloating of the blockchain, avoiding excessive computational overhead or penalty on performance or scalability while completely concealing the transaction value.
No trusted setup required
Blocks are mined using Equihash Proof-of-Work algorithm.
Limited emission using periodic halving.
No addresses are stored in the blockchain - no information whatsoever about either the sender or the receiver of a transaction is stored in the blockchain.
Superior scalability through compact blockchain size - using the “cut-through” feature of Mimblewimble makes the Litecash blockchain orders of magnitude smaller than any other blockchain implementation.

Devs, it's time to be fair and to say sorry to holders of Lbc, coin is dead, it's going to zero, it's garbage. Even trashy Poloniex  understand it.

We are building a product with a critical use case. We didn't ask for holders and speculators, you guys did that without understanding the risks.

''We didn't ask for holders and speculators''

But yet the only thing that let this project continue...
You need market to deploy your product to continue, but ditch everything that come with !

You guys are lost ! It don't even make sense, and your product doesn't even answer a problem, you create drama against youtube most of time to give credibility to your project ...
