121  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Most Common Mining Issues, Read Before Making a New Post. on: January 29, 2019, 11:11:50 PM
You might want to mention this is basically an antminer guide because almost every topic you linked is antminer specific.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can the crytpo mining sector recover from the shockwaves of 2018? How long? on: January 29, 2019, 08:53:39 PM
You may as well go look up a psychic for answers to these questions.

123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: H110Pro cant get win to boot with more than 6x 2080 on: January 29, 2019, 08:51:00 PM
switching to linux

Theres the solution to your problem. If you are willing to invest that kind of money into video cards, why are you taking the lazy route on your OS? Windows will end up costing you money over time.

P.S. There are plenty of distros that are linux based that will automate mining. My personal recommendation is PiMP (www.getpimp.org) because i run it on hundreds of my machines with no issues.

Heres an example of a machine that has been running almost a year with zero issues mining ETH:

[Agent: GeorgeMiner11153 (Running) Total HR: [176.14Mh/s] Miners running [1] GPUs [AAAAAA]]

I am not sure how this is missed every single day.

This is the BITCOIN MINING section of the forum.

Nothing related to altcoins should be here, you need to post this in the proper altcoin section.
125  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [Antminer S9] Miner stops hashing - all stats freeze except LSTime on: January 28, 2019, 08:30:45 PM
How cold is it where the miners are? I'm seeing this sporadically on miners in very cold conditions, and it may be related more to the Bitmain PSU's than the miners themselves it seems.

I can say with certainty that this issue is power supply agnostic. I have 6000+ non Bitmain PSUs powering S9s and T9s and the issue happened with them as well.
126  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Oscillating hashrate on: January 23, 2019, 04:21:42 PM
One possible reason is the movement of hashrate between BTC and BCH depending on profitability.

For example you can take a look at fork.lol and see the big spikes of profitability on both sides....

127  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Create a block first offline and submit it to be the winner - possible? on: January 17, 2019, 06:27:34 PM
No you will not.

If it was that easy to game the system it would be completely broken and useless right now from all the people like you doing scummy things to try and cheat the system
128  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain will be releasing S15 and T15 on 8/11/2018 on: January 17, 2019, 04:34:16 PM
fanatic26 usually has a lot of gear running.

Unfortunately I was only able to get my hands on T15s out of the first batch, so I have nothing to report on the S15 as of yet.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Issues detecting more than 3 1080Ti's - MSI H270 PC MATE on: January 17, 2019, 04:17:25 PM
The solution is to replace the motherboard. MSI motherboards are far and away the most troublesome for crypto mining. I say this having worked directly with MSI to try and certify some of their boards for crypto mining.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bios doesn't detect all GPUs... on: January 16, 2019, 11:20:15 PM
I swap them for six Vegas

Found the problem! Dump those crap ass cards and go back to what you had and all your problems will go away.
131  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: This is a reliability thread may not keep it open long. on: January 16, 2019, 09:26:43 PM
FWIW the PDU I have mine on is reporting 210v at the outlet currently.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How To Mine Grin Coin | Windows & Linux Mining Guide + What is GrinCoin anyway? on: January 16, 2019, 06:18:28 PM
So where is the text guide?

All I see are links to smOS which seems more like a shill then a guide.
133  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: This is a reliability thread may not keep it open long. on: January 16, 2019, 05:00:17 PM
I am seeing 20.6TH @ 1434w in LPM on T15 #1
I am seeing 20.7TH @ 1403w in LPM on T15 #2
134  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: This is a reliability thread may not keep it open long. on: January 16, 2019, 04:37:27 PM
From the S15/T15 thread sounds like batch one and two are a bit problematic? Might go do a quick peek at the support section here.

The pair of T15s I was able to get from batch 1 have no problems so far with 9 day uptimes. It not really enough timewise to go on, but so far these have been rock solid.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon VII - Will it be good at Cryptomining on: January 15, 2019, 10:40:44 PM
you guys thinking of buying this crap must do it 'for fun' considering a 2 year payback is VERY optimistic in this market. GPU mining these days is about as effective as picking up pennies on a busy street corner.
136  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: This is a reliability thread may not keep it open long. on: January 15, 2019, 05:48:56 PM
The M10S is pretty big, it does have 140mm cooling fans but only 3 hashing boards.

The Innosilicon T2Ts are actually larger than the M10S and also come with 140mm fans.
137  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain will be releasing S15 and T15 on 8/11/2018 on: January 15, 2019, 04:54:20 PM
Each of my technicians is armed with a $30 cheapo netgear router because their base firmware will find any IP that is connected via ethernet even if it is not able to communicate with the unit. We have ffound some really strange network settings on machines this way.

An IP reporter factory reset should be all you need to get them back up and running unless you got a batch with corrupted controller firmware from the factory or something
138  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: This is a reliability thread may not keep it open long. on: January 15, 2019, 04:31:12 PM
I have a Whatsminer M10s, a pair of Innosilicon T2T+ 32TH, and a pair of bitmain T15s currently under observation and testing to determine our next hardware purchase.

The M10 and T2T have been running for nearly 2 months trouble free now. The bitmain unit only arrived recently but I have seen no issues with it as of yet.

So far not even a hiccup other than having to factory reset the T15 out of the box.

140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Question about PoS algorithm on: January 11, 2019, 12:08:35 AM
The specifics of every PoS algorithm are unique, but as a general rule, PoS algorithms require you to take "turns", and the more you stake, the more validation "turns" you get.

Thats because PoS is a rich get richer scam, and should be avoided at all costs.
