1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pre-TGE]🌐👥🌌Crypt-ON - Multipurpose blockchain platform🌌👥🌐 on: December 19, 2018, 10:55:58 PM
Hey there everyone. Why do you think some projects don't show the results Crypt-ON does?

You mean why is it tough for some projects to shoe progress and collect funds, along with building a truly great and useful project? Well, basically it is a bit tough time on the market right now and we are currently watching out the "correction". So nowadays the requirements are a bit higher and investors have higher expectations. Now success more depends on great and experienced team, MVP, great idea, community etc. And we can see it all working perfect together in Crypt-ON, thus we can really watch and follow the progress, being truly involved and loving the project  Roll Eyes

Sounds rational and makes sense! Thanks!

Greetings everyone! So am I right that the 1,5% you charge from each transaction just to cover costs an reinvest in portfolio. What do you mean by reinvest? You will have your own pie of it?

Hi catnip. 1.5% is right, idk about what they do with all income above their costs payment. Where did you get this information? Or your own thoughts?

There is a huge part of whitepaper about it, like 5 page or even more. All profit will be reinvested in the portfolio! Aim is to make the portfolio as big as possible

Sounds good. But it occurs that the bigger it is the more stable it is. So all users benefit as the portfolio grow, but wont it affect the price of 1 token?

Yes! And the value of your token will grow also!

Sounds rational and honest! And even more attracting  Cool Thanks for your help

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STACKTICAL (DSLA): Meet the 1st Downtime Crypto-Insurance! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rated ICO on: December 19, 2018, 10:35:57 PM
Greetings everyone. Am I right that Stacktical couldn't be as efficient as it is supposed to be without decentralization?

Hey man! Yeah, that's correct. Their system removes many intermediaries when it comes to manage customer expectations and settling disputes after service failures  Wink

But if we are speaking about decentralization, how exactly is that realized? Kinda what are the decentralized nodes?

Interesting question. Well, SLA are deployed as Smart Contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. It makes them decentralized by nature, and able to borrow the properties of the blockchain, such as the immutability of records. Service providers use SLA to make claims about their reliability, in order to acquire and retain customers  Wink

Is it cheaper to retain the existing customers than attract new one?

Of course! There was a special research comparing these 2 ways and attracting a new customer is 10 times (or even more) more expensive, as far as I remember, than retain the existing one  Roll Eyes

Wow, I thought that the difference is not that high. Seems that in this case the usage of SLA is slightly more beneficial

Exactly! And that's why demand on Stacktical is pretty high nowadays. More to this, I am sure in upward trend in the nearest future

Sounds good and fair! Thanks a lot for your help Smiley

Hey there everyone! Can someone help me with better understanding what DAO is? What is different from classical organizational structure?

Well, such organizations differ from the usual in autonomy and lack of centralized management. In such a system there is no vertical of power, there are no such institutions as the Board of Directors or the company owner.  Smiley

Greetings guys! How are you doing today? I wanted to discuss whisky in general as it is basically the main asset the project deals with to evaluate! Anyone online?

Hi Azam, sure! What exactly are you interested in? I am an experienced whisky drinker if we can say so 😂😂

Are you aware of the whisky market in general? How stable is it? I mean I pretty understand that whisky is a luxurious good, so there is always a demand, but do you have some statistics?

Interesting question though. Well, whisky is definitely one of the most stable-demand with an upward trend asset, so this is probably the best item nowadays if we say about always valuable asset. Do you know how many bottles of whisky are sold every year?

To be honest, no thoughts... Can you share?

1,200,000,000 bottles are sold every year, just imagine! So from now you should be even more convinced in the value and the upward trend.. and this is why whisky token  Wink

Wow, that's a lot! Well, I believe that you are right on whisky being the thing people always buy. Kinda status

Absolutely. Probably there is no better good than whisky to be a status standard and to be the thing we can equal tokens to

Thank you very much, you shared the things I haven't thought before... But seems I have to seriously consider buying WHY

Greetings again guys. And what is their trust token necessary for?

Evening man. This is what I know, trust token is all about trust and being as honest as they can throughout the platform. So, Crypt-ON's trust-tokens will provide a level of trust and thereby improve the quality of online crypto trades  Smiley

Perfect, thanks a lot  Cool

Greetings community, can anyone tell me more about the asset-backed mechanism? The reason of why I am asking is basically because, as far as I understand, this is one of the technologies to make portfolio always equals to tokens.

Hey azam! Here is what their WP says: To minimize the risk of loss for WHISKY TOKEN (WHY) owners, WHYTOKEN GmbH implements a sophisticated security mechanism. This asset-backed mechanism covers the WHY stock market price based on the current value of the high-end whisky portfolio. It is ensured that the value of the total WHY market capitalization does not fall below 90% of the portfolio value (hereinafter referred to as "asset-backed value"  Wink

Hmm, sounds pretty beneficial, so this will work from the very beginning to secure token holders even more and make token even more stable?

As far as I remember, this mechanism is scheduled to be implemented three years after a successful ICO, but let me double check that

Sure! And one more question, in case you know, of course, how exactly the mechanism works? I mean I pretty understand its role, but interested in working principles

Checked about implementation - 3 years after ICO. As for working principles, if the market capitalization is subsequently below the asset-backed value for a period of one month, WHISKY TOKEN is repurchased by the WHYTOKEN GmbH until the market capitalization is above the asset-backed value again (buy-back). For this purpose, a portion of the high-end whisky portfolio corresponding to the buy-back will be liquidated initially. From this revenue, purchase orders are placed on the stock exchanges, resulting in an increase in market capitalization. The tokens acquired in this way are destroyed in order to guarantee a deflation and thus a sustainable increase in value  Roll Eyes

Sounds great, I mean this can make us even more confident in tokens stability

Exactly, WHY protects against loss of value and ensures continuous growth  Smiley

Super, so I need to add even more tokens to my portfolio  Smiley Thanks a lot for your help  Cool
