4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash Miner - easy-to-use best-profit multi-device cryptocurrency miner on: June 22, 2016, 04:48:48 PM
He does not work at
stratum+tcp://sha256.eu.nicehash.com:3334

Hmm, to be honest we don't have any S9 to test so we can't tell for sure. But it would be highly unusual that it would not work. Can you please post a print-screen of the first page of Antimer tab System / Overview?

And can you please configure your Antminer S9 with a separate Bitcoin address (so that only this miner would use this Bitcoin address) and leave it mining on NiceHash for approx. 15 minutes? Thanks.

I can conform this problem as well. My S9 B1 doesn't work with US and EU SHA256 pools.  Nicehash sees/lists it at  0THS. It does work well with its default Antpool at 13.9Ths.

Also as some others reported chips run really hot easily touch 90 degrees.

yeah , since yesterday my 6th sense has been telling me that i need to update my bitcoin client..  it must be calculating the default fee amount based on old numbers ( if indeed that how it works )..

Anyhow I have updated the client now.

Also I used the recommended fee, i never changed any amounts with the fee.

I have asked for help in the below  thread.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=232979.new#new

I chose the default fees that was asked uisng the quick payment method by bitcoin core client, and never knew this will casue me so much headache.

In the past, paymenst with default fees used to get confirmed in 2-4 hrs..

Based on some of the comments above, I may just have to wait

Hang on, I am trying to solve the 'unconfirmed' problem on my payment to OgNasty

Looks like the automatic (recommended) transaction fee was calculated to be very low, I dont know why,  ..so it will take awhile for confirmations...  I am reading up to see whet i need to do to speed up the confirmations or redo the transaction..
