2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Innosilicon A4+ scrypt miner help on: March 27, 2024, 07:14:13 PM
Hello
I have just bought this miner it is like new and although I have never tried scrypt mining before I have done a bit of sha-256 mining

Problem is I point it at pool address then click save and apply then reboot.

Then the overview screen comes on with the pop up saying booting and that's it nothing happens.

Many thanks for any suggestions I'm sure it is something simple I am missing

7  Bitcoin / Mining support / AvalonMiner 1246 on: December 07, 2022, 08:32:33 PM
Hello All
I bought 2 of  these  miners  from Aliexpress AvalonMiner 1246 they both where mining fine till one packed up after a week and a half. They did not overheat as I live in UK and it is cold in my garage the hottest board was around 70 to 72 I have been back and forth with seller but they either are useless or know what problem is and don't care I am no expert but I thought since I had two the first thing I swapped was the PSU with no success so today I swapped the control board still no good. My problem is I cant understand how all 3 boards could go down I am contemplating swapping a board  but I know there are experts here so I thought I could show log and someone could point me in right direction.
Many thanks for any advice

Hello All

I have I think an Ebit 10.2 hashing at 28th but in summer now it is getting a bit hot and I would like to drop it down a couple th to keep it a bit cooler but dont know how and cant find anything on how to make your miner run slower.

Many thanks for any replys.

After 2 hour shut down no difference I have tried 8 different firmware I will just assume the board is dead ? Even though it says its Alive.
10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: July 09, 2019, 04:56:36 PM
I will try turning off for 2 hours.

What firmware are you running I am running   t1_20180511_034450.swu

its one of the only ones so far that actually shows 3 boards most of the rest so far just show 2.
11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: July 08, 2019, 06:18:33 PM
here is part of log

Code:
Jul 08 18:15:28 dragonMint cgminer[1338]: ERROR - failed to recv spi data
Jul 08 18:15:28 dragonMint cgminer[1338]: chain1: spi speed set to 390K
Jul 08 18:15:28 dragonMint cgminer[1338]: ERROR - failed to recv spi data

only two cards are hashing do those errors mean third is faulty?
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: July 04, 2019, 06:59:50 PM
Well I have managed to start introducing different firmware and now I can see three cards but still only 2 are hashing the other says its alive but not temp or hash rate from it.

How do i tell if hash board is no good

Or do I keep trying different firmware?

Many Thanks

Have you tried any different firmware versions yet?

In the web gui, go to the Overview page to see the current firmware version and let us know.  Some FWs are more stable than others.

One of the biggest issues with T1s has the connection between the chips and the heatsinks.  No amount of cleaning out dust or internals will fix bad heatsink epoxy (or bad chips in general).

is this it

15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 25, 2019, 06:00:09 PM
Hello All

I am looking for a little advice as I bought one of these off of ebay and am having problems.

I connected it up set pool and it started but noticed only two boards working so reconnected power leads and started it again now I only have one board working.

I looked at mining log and last time miner was started was 28 Jan. looks like for a minute or two.

I have done everything to my knowledge took boards out cleaned them reboot and reset

I dont know how to tell if boards are knackered.

Many Thanks for any Advice

In the past I have had notification emails like this

Password Reset Email For Your FreeBitco.in Account

Confirmation link to change your Bitcoin Address at FreeBitco.in

Like I said before someone apparently hacked my account and in less then 24 hour changed my email address and btc address and withdrew all my btc

I have had no other issues with any other sites

I know you guys reckon he got my password from somewhere but no Idea where I am pretty cagey on password information

If someone hacked my email account I would have problems everywhere but none this is the first problem I have ever had

this is the guy who did it   dereu.a@wanadoo.fr ask him how he did it I did send to freebitcoin
19  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! - $30,000 contest now live! on: July 04, 2018, 06:34:54 PM
I have been using this site for years well about six weeks ago I decided to deposit some bitcoin in here for the %4 interest not a lot luckily as my account was hacked apparently, I never had an email to confirm address change I was on the site on the 2nd and by the 3rd someone had changed my email address my wallet address and withdrew all btc in less the 24 hours.

Now if that is not a sign of a hack I dont know what is surely the should have some security is it cryptopia or polo where if you change a wallet address you cant withdraw until 48 hours later

The hacker would have needed your password (you used the same on other websites?), then he can change email. After that he receives all new notifications instead of you.
If à substantial amount is on your balance, best security way is 2FA.

Okay maybe he had my password from somewhere I dont know but surely if he changes email address it has to be confirmed on old email adress
