No doubt, this is a revolution that will steer up algorithmic trading among the sheer cryptocurrency and trading populace.
Thinking of creating an article about this on my Linkedin page soon.

Personally, I will say both are cool. I am both an investor as well as a bounty hunter. I trade when I have capital and I spend some of my time researching potentially rewarding bounties. So far, both are going on well.
So yes, one can always do a blend of bounty hunting as well as trading

Well, I must confess I really envy you: You enjoyed the bull run and actually missed the trying times of crypto.
Bitcoin price plummeted from its All-Time High and has been struggling to get back there since then.
Altcoins are currently struggling
Scams are prevalent as ever
Only few projects are actually delivering what is in their whitepaper and pitch-deck.
And many more...

Good Day Everyone,
Well, I know a lot of bounty hunters are frustrated and worn out mostly because most of the projects which they'd spent their precious time promoting ended up being scam projects. But hey, its too late to give up at this time, trust me.
So here are the little tips which I personally apply before participating in any bounty campaign, though, of course, it takes time, I feel its worth it.
1. THE TEAM BEHIND THE PROJECT 2. THE SOFT CAP AND HARD CAP (HOW REASONABLE IS IT?) 3. HAVE THEY RAISED ANY FUNDS BEFORE COMING PUBLIC? 4. ARE THEY PLANNING AN ICO, STO, OR IEO? IF IEO, THEN ON WHAT EXCHANGE? 5. WHO IS THE BOUNTY MANAGER? WHAT IS HIS TRUST LEVEL ON BITCOINTALK? WHAT IS THE SUCCESS RATE OF THE CAMPAIGNS HE HAD MANAGED? AND SO ON.
FEEL FREE TO ADD YOUR OPINIONS BELOW, I MIGHT JUST LEARN A THING OR TWO

Personally, I no longer believe we might have any alt season anytime soon. Its becoming so obvious by the day. Seems the whales are just interested in playing with btc price and that's all.
The momentum with which alts rose in 2017 seems to be catapulted by worldwide FOMO which is not even happening in 2019 as everyone has learnt their lessons

Although there are tools and bots to check the buy side of the market, one can actually detect if whales are accumulating a certain cryptocurrency by the thick buy wall of the market. The thicker the buy wall, the more there is a possibility that accumulation is going on.
Always do your own research anyways....and yes, beware of fake buy orders tooo

Thanks very much for this as it is actually coming at the right time.
I have been a victim of trading based on signals without any assessment whatsoever. At the end of the day, I end up chasing green candles and end up getting dumped on.
We learn everyday, anyways

The price of projects will definitely plummet when listed due to some factors which include, but not limited to: lack of strong and cohesive communities, lack of communication between the team and the community members, listing on low volume exchanges, etc

Initially, I started off with Bittrex but as I got more deep in Cryptocurrency trading, I switched over to Binance. Binance is the best exchange no doubt in terms of security, standard as well as liquidity.
More personally, CZ, the CEO of Binance, is someone I just love for his simplicity and transparency. So, Yes, Binance is it.

Personally, I dont think there is any oncoming bull run anymore. However, it would be cool to grab some top 20 cryptocurrency coins and hold for the long term. By long term, I mean like 6 months to 1 year. Do this and thank me later.
Some head up: Ripple, Stellar, Binance Coin, EOS , NEO are awesome picks

Initial Exchange Offering is the new bandwagon virtually all projects are jumping on thereby making it increasingly popular, as the days goes on. However, aside Binance, Binance, bitforex and probably Probit Exchange, I think other exchanges are just inflating the funds generated by projects on their launchpad thereby deceiving investors as well as future projects which might be considering doing IEO with them.
I wont like to be specific regarding the exchanges but the truth is these exchanges are just the bad eggs we need to get rid of in this industry. Unfortunately, some of them are top guns and thereby using that leverage in a deceptive manner.
So sad

Your testimony, no doubt, has once again given me the reason to keep the fire burning. I have invested in tons of projects only to sell at a very low price just to salvage the remaining available capital.
These days, however, I just buy coins or tokens that I have a strong belief in and leave them for some time. I do hope my story changes for the better soon.
Personally, I believe in holding the top 10 altcoins; they will always rise in value in a few months time just like their value had increased in recent time relative to how they were last year

To be honest, nothing feels good than cashing out, even the tiniest of your profits. I have learnt to personally get contented in 3-5% short term profits than waiting for 10x-20x that may not even come, in the long term. The whales always have a history of manipulating the market direction to wherever they like thereby making it relatively harder for the average retail investors to secure maximum profits.
In esence, even if your profits is just 2-5% of your capital, learn to take it out before the whales come for you. Profit is Profit, never ever forget!

While I feel the pains of bounty hunters whose tokens are locked, I guess I respect the decisions of the team too. You see, they have got to protect the interests of their investors too. And most importantly safeguard the price of the token from falling below reasonable threshold.
Yes, bounty hunters may be pained but if the project is a solid one, then no need to fear, for later in the end, you are still going to cashout.
That's called delayed gratification

Of recent, I only focus on projects with great team and unique products as well as plans of going IEO.
The above have been my guiding principle before wasting time on any project, not the allocation of tokens they are offering on each campaign. And to be honest, it has worked wonders
