1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Dragonchain Token Sale on: October 26, 2017, 12:44:27 AM
Few questions.

I see mentions of a presale of 1.5m USD worth of Dragon, but why isnt that calculated into the total supply?

Secondly, what are ALL uses of the Dragon token? The platform seems great, but there isnt a clear connection of the token to the platform, so why would the token increase in value along with any successes of the platform? Something like ETH/IOTA has clear value in their respective platforms and that is one reason they are so successful.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: January 02, 2017, 08:00:33 PM
how exactly do you have hot wallets but cold wallets don't work? Do you even understand blockchains?

Cold wallet is wallet which enables users keep their crypto assets on their own storage.
For GeoCoin cold wallets is:
Windows wallet:
http://geo.money/images/geocoin-qt-windows.zip

Mac wallet:
http://geo.money/images/Geocoin-Qt.dmg
And GeoCoin wallets do not work, because it's synchronization stuck.

Hot wallets work because it uses databases of Crypto Exchange. Hot wallets don't use blockchain as distributed database. Hot wallets just write all transactions in local database(it may be any centralized SQL/NoSQL db).

But cold wallets send transactions right in blockchain. For using cold wallet and make transactions it should be synchronized. But GeoCoin wallet do not synchronizes. Because of it's source of blocks not available. This problems exists for weeks, and even maybe month's(idk).

Crypto exchanges like Polo uses both hot and cold wallets wallets. Hot wallets keep account balances in Polo database, not in blockchain. Blockchain transactions is slow, thats why they use hot wallets for faster order settlement and execution, it enables high frequency trading. But periodicaly they should update balances in cold wallets to put transactions in blockchain and make it secured.

Simple users use only cold wallets and need to synchronize it. GeoCoin wallet says it source blocks unavailable, which means blockchain behind it do not works.

If i'm wrong, then explain me please why it is not problem when there's no any working GeoCoin wallet.
And explain me how you send your GeoCoins from exchange to your PC/Mac. And do you tried to send GeoCoins e.g. From Polo to Bittrex?(transactions just stuck - no confirmations; and admins can't help because problem is not on their side)

P.S.: i am not a blockchain super expert. And i would like you explain your understanding of blockchains. It will be valuable for all thread readers.

I haven't tried sending any GEO anywhere yet. You have your definitions wrong. Cold wallets and hot wallets are functionally the same, the qt you linked can be used both as a hot wallet or a cold wallet. A cold wallet is one that is not connected to the internet. The reason exchanges get hacked is because they use hot wallets, so the wallets are online and accessible to hackers. If an exchange uses a hot wallet or a cold wallet they still just update databases either way to make transactions instant, they arent actually sending bitcoin from address to address. That is why on block explorers, exchanges have massive wallets, because every user's balance is stored in the same offline wallet.

And whence came their coins? By digging! Would you stop with idiocy, start something constructive in life. No need to attract attention to this ugly way, it is easy, but it is not good,

No one knows whence came their coins, because block explorer do not works right from begining. They always post premine adress, but bitcointalk members can't browse it and look how many coins there. Also i suspect the trick is in early mining. Developers is the early miners of coin and they mined more coins in next months than they hold on premine adress. I see you very religious about this thread and all you can do is just calling my research idiocy. But I can confirm my words with facts, and you just speak.
I am constructive enough and you not constructive at all.
I am not attracting attention, i just keep WARNING about current situation here for the next members of crypto community who find this thread.
1. Block explorer do not works right from begining and they do not interested in make it work.
2. Wallet do not work. It means GeoCoin blockchain is unuseable. You can't send coins you bought between exchanges and keep cold wallet on you PC/Mac.
3. A lot of coins come from nowhere. GeoCoin wallets do not work and i suppose miners do not mine it too. It means the total absence of arbitrage. Now explain me please from where that coins come?
4. Permanent dump.
5. Developers keep give empty cheap promises. Looks like they want to sell this coin until the last day it listed on exchanges.

Also Polo delist it because GeoCoin cold wallets do not work and it is not safe to keep unsecured coin on exchange. Because all GeoCoin balances now in hot wallets(it is realy risky).

I just sincerely want members of our crypto community do not lost their BTC. I hope they will notice my research.

Hmm, new year, same people writing at same shitcoins topics. Some things never change..

You are right bro...

how exactly do you have hot wallets but cold wallets don't work? Do you even understand blockchains?

They said that they would have the beta out soon, and the price did react to that.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: December 20, 2016, 07:30:55 AM

The point is to change the world and in doing so become a multi-million dollar market cap in a few years.

And you will do it by way of dumping your projects coin and delisting from exchanges?

I've contacted Moby at Poloniex so hopefully he will understand our value. It's up to Poloniex's advisory team. I haven't sold a single GEO. We will accomplish our goals by getting users to use our platform when it's ready.

No proofs of unselling, just words.
The project feature - one users drop geocoins and other users collect it and can exchange on btc/anyOtherCoin. How they will do it without exchanges? How users will understand value of GeoCoin without comparing it to other altcoins?
Look, PinkCOIN wasnt delisted. Why? Because its developers keep in touch with Polo, their community and do not dump it. It is clear.
No one cares about current price. It can be even 1 satoshi. But if your dont listed on exchanges - it just fail coin.
No one will develop special exchange only for Geo...

You can trade on Bittrex.

On Bittrex it is in delisting candidate list. It should have volume more than 0.5 btc per day to not be delisted. And with current bubble team we will see delisting from Bittrex very soon. And iam not a trader.

No proof of selling either, only FUD

It will be delisted from poloniex,

Yes, I know that ; but all the devs are dumping some of their coins when there is a bad news : this is a well known strategy.

the devs arent dumping where are you getting that? nice trust rating btw

Yes because of low daily volume
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: December 04, 2016, 09:43:32 PM
GEO is in danger of getting delisted on Bittrex
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: December 02, 2016, 10:44:38 PM
The app is in development. We've just had some setbacks. We need to be patient and release it when ready. The toirtise wins the race Wink

If you have information about development, could you show us any screenshots?

Yes Tobler is working on it but had some setbacks due to personal issues. I've basivcally joined the team and seen a little bit of the app developments. I'll see if we can get an update out within the week.

One thing you can always check is the dev premine address (although its not much) to verify dev is still committed, just slow on the updates.

Is there still going to be an update this week?

Might wanna update OP with this relationship of IOTA because im not sure what the relationship is.

There isn't one right now just being discussed.

IOTA doesnt have any money, the devs have money, they won't spend that on Gadget or IOTA. They have good ICO skills not marketing skills, but who couldn't raise that much when you lie about what your intentions are? Not hundreds of supporters but hundreds of people looking for a quick P&D. IOTA has nothing.

What is it called when a sockpuppet spreads lies? Forgot the word...

Ok Come-from-beyond, please tell me, how much of the 300k you raised are you going to spend supporting IOTA? That is the public IOTA that everyone bought into.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GDGC] GadgetCoin | IoT | M2M |Smart Contracts on Hardware on: January 10, 2016, 10:06:26 PM
I invested both in IOTA and gadgetcoin, i think both coins have the best intention to create something good. lets go boys, lets work together to prove barabbas wrong. lets show to the FUDDER barabbas that IOTA and GadgetCoin aren't scam!!!  barabbas aka Iconicexpert has been working on an internet of things coin, that's why he FUD so hard in all internet of things coin threads!!!

So this is why you are pushing for collaboration? To save your IOTA investment? IOTA just sold you their coins and basically said you're on your own to make them worth something, so why would you want them working on your other investment? All a collaboration would do is hurt Gadgetnet so please stop pushing for it and save your Gadgetnet investment.

i didn't see conflict in the collaboration. i think it is a win-win situation. IOTA has a unique coin, lots of money, very good marketing skills and hundreds of supporters. the Gadgetnet devs said they are just about to release the system, they have some contacts and well positioned with large companies, siemens, w3c. Combine the two and we have a winning formula Wink

I have some questions about setting up my mn. Which IP addy do I use? IPv4 or DNS Servers? Also, does the wallet need to be unlocked to receive mn staking rewards and is there a way to tell how many confirmations I have left? I don't see payment of 13k coins in my transaction history.

First time I set up my mn the wallet crashed, wondering if there are things I can look for to see that it was setup correctly.

If the wallet crashes, the masternode is still there, so just go back and press "get config" and continue following the video guide for setting up one masternode. Important to send exactly 13342 to the collateral address -  no more no less. be careful to account for transaction fees.

Can you run two masternodes in the same wallet/qt?

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GDC] GadgetCoin | Smart Contracts on Hardware | IoT | M2M on: July 31, 2015, 04:10:19 PM
you are not just an interested investor but a paid one -and quite handsomely- by the developers of GDC

No. The GDC developer nor anybody from GadgetCoin paid nothing for me. Not even 1 cent. I paid to them by purchasing VICR contracts. :-))))) in fact quite a lot. Therefore, as I stated in this thread many times I have financial interest in this project and apart from the fact that I am crowdfunding all kind of projects like Skycoin, Tilecoin to support the technology, I would like this project succeed  for financial reasons as well. I said several times openly in this thread.

As for your payment and offer matter, I approached the devs that lets do business together and I outlined what can I do for them if I have a part from the project, I offered investment and many other support if I could have income from the project via the broadcasting revenue. The developers probably not even considered this, but one thing is sure the developers and me never came to any agreements regarding any collaborations, my offer never gone further than an offer from me, and as I said the GDC developers paid not even 1 cent to me.

You can say whatever you want about me, but don't be unfair with the developers who have done nothing but performed publicly which they promised in private regarding the blockchain, VICR, wallet, etc.

As I have posted and since it is my rule of conduct, I never, ever, lie. Therefore I cannot say "whatever you want about me", unless it is the truth. If you insist in lying, I will be forced to post here the proof. Last chance. Your call.

You lied when you said that this project will no longer be graced by your presence yesterday.
