What I've noticed on Windows 7 64bit SP1 is that is uses a lot of resources while syncing. I don't have this problem on Ubuntu 14.04
In both cases I used the QT wallet.
You point out something I noticed with several coin wallets that I use, that they don't run as efficiently in Windows as they do on Linux. I don't think it is particularly a Windows issue, I believe it is linked to the libraries used in the compiling are not Windows optimized. If anyone has some insight on this it would be greatly appreciated, so that new releases could benefit from better performance on Windows. This could be a Windows 7 issue, I'm syncing the wallet now on Windows 10 64-bit and CPU levels are below 50%. Memory and disk usage are normal. I'll report back when the wallet is completely synced. Specs of my machine Dual core VM in VirtualBox (E5520 Xeon) 3 GB Ram, 50 GB HDD (SAS)

Hello Dev(s),
Is there something wrong? Last block was 62016 (last POW block) and no POS blocks have been staked since block 62016...
i got 2 small staking rewards even BEFORE block 62016, it might just take time. anyway my wallet dont sync anymore, so i think that something wrong is going on..... Yes something is seriously wrong, I hope the devs can give us some info soon. I had a private mining pool and everything worked fine until block 62016. After block 62016 stratum gave me the following error: ERROR block_updater # UpdateWatchdog.run failed prevhash = util.reverse_hash((yield self.bitcoin_rpc.prevhash())) Error: 500 Internal Server Error The strange thing is that Stratum usually gives the messages No more POW blocks when POW has ended. People are still mining at block genesis but they haven't seen a new block in over 6 hours...

I rented a VPS linux ubuntu 14.04-64bit how to compile source codes?
I want to make a pool for all of you.
This would be great, thanks dude Try to install Webmin on you server and CSF With webmin you can easily setup the cronjobs needed for MPOS and CSF is a great firewall with a module for webmin. Web min installation guide for Debian & Ubuntu http://www.webmin.com/deb.htmlCSF Script install (Needs to be done as root!) http://download.configserver.com/csf/install.txt

Follow this guide and you'll have a pool setup in no time. Keep in mind that ASIC miners need a high diff otherwise they will get a very low hash rate and lots of invalid shares. https://github.com/MPOS/php-mpos/wiki/Quick-Start-Guide

The coin however is still stuck on the same block, maybe that needs to be fixed first.

I have some problems with solo mining:
My Brexitcoin.conf:
rpcuser=user rpcpassword=pass rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=7511 daemon=1 server=1 addnode=node.brexit.co.in addnode=node2.brexit.co.in addnode=node3.brexit.co.in
My minerd bat file:
minerd --url=http://127.0.0.1:4210 --userpass=user:pass
This is given me:
[2016-06-29 16:15:55] HTTP request failed: Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 4210: Connection refused [2016-06-29 16:15:55] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds
Also minerd --url=http://127.0.0.1:7511 --userpass=user:pass is given me this error:
[2016-06-29 16:20:43] HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server [2016-06-29 16:20:43] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds
This may be caused with the Port, your firewall may block that port in your pc. Is it definitely Brexitcoin.conf or is it Brexit.conf... To be on the safe side is to have both brexitcoin.conf & brexit.conf with the same information. There is no FW and i've tried brexitcoin.conf & brexit.conf but nothing seems to work! :S Any other idea's? try to add listen=1 to the brexit.conf file Tried that, no luck! Strange, your config file looks good, it's almost the same as I'm using, I just left out daemon=1 and use a different RPC port Try to use another RPC port, I can see in the specs of this ANN that Port 7511 is the default P2P port and 7512 is the default. Algorithm Scrypt Type PoW/PoS Coin name Brexit Coin abbreviation BRXT RPC port 7512 P2P port 7511After you changed the brexit.conf file restart the wallet.

What happend to the IEC market on Bittrex, I can't find it.....
|
|
|
There was a message on Bleutrade that there are wallet problems and that users should withdraw coins to their local wallets. Message on Bleutrade: NOTICE: IEC devs had problems recently (bitcointalk). Bleutrade recommends storing your coins in your local wallet and just deposit them if you want to sell.
This is old message, check you can trade/withdraw/deposit on other exchanges ... The market on bleutrade is still open so my guess is that you can still trade.
