45  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin won't top $9,000 by year's end, Novogratz says on: October 06, 2018, 06:21:17 AM
Lol @the yellow marked sentence.

When Bitcoin jumped from 10k to 15k in 3 days I would also predict 40k

No we are between 6-7k to lets just "predict" 9k because ... yes, that could happen without much going on.

Today Circle and the CENTRE open source consortium introduced a service to tokenize US dollars and use those dollars over public blockchains on the internet: USD//Coin, also known as USDC. Individuals and institutions can enroll in this service to deposit US dollars from bank accounts, convert those dollars into tokens usable everywhere the internet reaches (subject to the token’s compliance controls), and redeem USDC tokens and cash out to bank accounts.

$USDC (USD//Coin) added to Poloniex!

Tether 2.0?

Nice read on the current state of the SEC commissioners:

The Elad Effect: How the SEC’s New Commissioner Changes Things for Bitcoin ETFs
https://medium.com/@JohnGaltBPM/the-elad-effect-how-the-secs-new-commissioner-changes-things-for-bitcoin-etfs-f4bb29e95bd6

Quoting to make sure all interested parties saw this. It explains the current ETF situation well.

So do I understand this correctly that after this one Commissioner is replaced a SEC ETF approval is likely?
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 15, 2018, 03:11:54 PM
On a sidenote:

I just looked up that the Bitcoin ETF decision is on Sept. 30.

Will be interesting if we get a pump leading up to it.

(Though I I kind of expect it to get rejected after all the delays)
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Surges From $6,190 to $6,450 in Seconds, What’s Next For BTC? on: September 14, 2018, 11:58:55 AM
This is the last quarter of this year and we know bitcoin has a trend to go high in the end of the year. Hope it's the sympton that it's going to continue it's trend this year.

Last quarter starts October 1st :-)
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 15000 in this year. on: September 12, 2018, 10:00:29 AM
If you buy 150 ETH, then it will be worth 15000 USD

I am sure.

And down we go Sad
Don’t like seeing the CAP goes under 200.000.000$ but BTC dominance up 55.4% So we have to look like Thats cheering us up  Roll Eyes

I’m going to release some fiat this week & start buying again. I haven’t bought since 2015. I’ve just been HODLING.
I think considering we hit nearly $20,000 & have now fallen to $6,000 this represents a GREAT time to buy now. I think we’ll hit $50,000 not long after the halving so buying now you will make nearly over 10 x your investment if you buy now.

I’m definitely going to buy MOAR if we stay in this price range.

I know it´s not a popular opinion here but I would be careful.

We hit 20k because of mass media attracting tons of newcomers and massive FOMO from them. This will not happen again.

Now the rise has to be more or less natural.

So while I am sure the Halving will move the price up I am not sure if it even goes to 20k.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Satis Group-Bitcoin might reach 96K by 2023 on: September 08, 2018, 06:24:01 AM
If it´s a gradual move to 96k in 5 years it is fine by me :-)

Just stop this pumps of hope to above 7k just so smash it a couple of days later.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 06, 2018, 06:07:09 AM
Should I start swing-trading?

How many times did we now exceed 7k for 1-2 days just to fall back to 6-6,5k ?

My next hopes are set out for the Halving in 2020 ...
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 05, 2018, 11:17:37 AM
I really don't get it. Why someone with 10K bitcoins would dump them with 10% loss at 7400 when they could sold at 20 000? Who are these people? Playing with futures or just morons enjoying losing and making everybody sad. May be the silk road admin or some other criminals. And what will they do with the cash? Bury it in his yard, then gets arrested and hangs himself like the alpha bay admin. I curse these peoples with all the evil to them and their families! In Jesus name, amen! We, the honest hodlers will prevail and rejoice for ever!

I asked this question also several times:

The only answer I could find is that they are swing-traders.

They dump 1000 coins, drive the price down and hope to get others to dump as well, moving the price further down.

Then they buy at this lower price and influence other to do the same.

Why they don't just wait for 20k is another story ... they probably calculated it through that they can make more money this way.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 05, 2018, 11:09:24 AM

Just look how BCD is pumped, it is going to 5$ Huh

Still not worth me moving my bitcoin’s out of cold storage for a few thousand dollars. If it goes to $10 then maybe.

I did it once in the beginning of 2018.

Moved my BTC to a new Trezor seed to claim some shitcoins. Wasn't that bad - got about 2% more BTC afterwars for some "moving around"
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 05, 2018, 11:07:35 AM
Lotsa pain in shitcoinsland...

https://coin360.io/

I wouldn't be surprised if Alts keep falling and also Bitcoin moves down into the 6-6,5k area.

We had the 8k once before in July and moved back to 6k
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 05, 2018, 10:03:37 AM
And down again :-/

Market manipulation as it´s best.

Let the masses move the price up for a few days, then dump 1000 BTC at once to strike everything down again.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 03, 2018, 08:20:34 PM
Die 7300 USD mark seems really hard to break.

We bounced off for the 3rd time already.
