1  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's pushing bitcoin up now as of December 11th on: December 11, 2015, 02:26:40 PM
I think some whales are behind it to pump price near 500 where some of them have bought coin in early november. And also positive psycology of traders is also taking part in this rise.

Not sure if the people who are currently are buying are only whales. I think people are tired of waiting for the right moment to buy, and thus they buy right now, to not stay behind and see the price go up while they haven't bought anything. I know how that feels. That feeling sucks. Just make sure you buy right now.

There are much more people posting here than there were last summer. Loysof people who stopped posting for months have now started again. That's a sign that people are regaining interest in bitcoin, and those people will be buying and pushing the price up.

I think we need to find a new exchange to reduce the "risk exchange". from several days i await my withdraval Litecoin to bleutrade.....
What do you think about Cryptsy issues?

Hello Andrea,

Most BTC LTC and BTCD w/ds are currently extremely slow moving due to tech issues. This progressively got worse over the past week and were trying to find the reason they are not going out. Please understand that due to extremely high security this a very complex system and the problem is still being resolved.
We appreciate your patience and understanding on this matter. Should you wish to cancel your pending withdraw, please let us know.

Sincerely,
Phoebe
Cryptsy.com

I withdrew most of my stash from Cryptsy when I found out it doesn't have the money transmitter licenses it said it had that made it fully licensed. I won't risk trading there because there are threads complaining about withdrawal issues in the service discussion board. I trade my earthcoins on BTC38 because it's safer.

No sgbett said we would be at $560,000 per bitcoin by now.

[prediction] Next spike $560,000 14 months from now

He used an underlying sigmoid function to work out the adoption curve followed by a cyclical function to calculate the base valuation, then a function tan^-1 to model the s-curve (whatever that is), and reached his final figure using a sin funtion to model a cycle.

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't believe i was able to register this bitcoin domain on: December 03, 2015, 08:56:48 PM
Those kind of domains don't really have any value because of their extension and also they are not CEO friendly like .com , .co , .NET , .ORG etc. ..

I never trust any website with an unusual extension, I only trust websites with the well known .com , .co , .NET, etc extensions. If a domain is too long I view it as suspicious too. Most people probably don't trust unusual domains so you can buy them cheaper, but get less page views if you use them.

is my domain too long???  Its to the left.

Both HoneybadgerOfMoney.com, and Weed4bitcoin.com have .com extensions which the whole internet community is used to, so I don't think the extensions are too long. HoneybadgerOfMoney is so long it puts me slightly off, but that's only my personal preferences. I'm certain people wouldn't be afraid to click the link because of an unusual extension, the .com in HoneybadgerOfMoney.com is one of the most common extensions on the internet, and nice and concise, unlike .website

Kraken btc/eur looking stupid. How can they go for lower prices while all the other exchanges are buying?

The Kraken is a tiny market and does weird things because it's so small. Before the crash to $150 there was a mini crash to a lower comparable figure on the Kraken while the price on other exchanges was far over $200. It only took 50 to 100 bitcoins to move its market to that vast extent.

the paradoxical effects of market moving against every move i make appears to be strongest where i trade, how is this possible!?  Huh

Don't they say the market moves against 90% of people's moves, and only 10% get lucky? I personally find the market moves against my every move too, but someone must be making money out of my ineptitude as a trader. Whoever's making money is probably too busy counting it to post here.

That img is used by a lot of sites, impossible to find only with google. Yu have to find the firsts img posted in web(google) an the ask for her to whom uploaded the foto...just very near to the stalkingXD

Yeah a lot of results on google, and it would be impossible to find it, you have to download a lot of photos of her where ever they're posted and then check the image metadata and it might tell you that where was it taken originally. It's a lot of work and you might still not find anything because most sites clean it up before putting it up but it's worth an effort if you must find her.

....

If you find her exact image and a name you still cannot be certain it's her because she might have a twin.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2 week target $160 on: April 05, 2015, 02:40:08 PM
You mean after all those broken promised bottoms at $800 $600 $400 $300 $200 given, you are now sure $200 is the "real" bottom again?
Let's see how you get this one wrong again

well there must be a bottom at the end, the real bottom is the one where the price will hold for most time, current price is a good candidate for this

for this reason i still doubt that we will see sub 200
Don't be so sure of that. Bad news tend to hit us frequently. We could see some exchange completely collapsing and people panic. When they panic, people act irrationally.
I'm actually hoping that we do not see the price go further down. If I could, I'd buy thousands per month. Unfortunately I'm not part of the 'elite'.

Good news seems to drive the price down faster than bad news.

When is LEOcoin releasing?
No one cares about LEOcoin here  Tongue

No one cared about Bitcoin.  Until they did.  And then didn't again.

12  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: fund BIT-X account with credit card on: April 05, 2015, 02:31:28 PM
Is credit card deposit instant? If not, how long does it take? Are Bitcoin withdrawals processed immediately like btc-e does?

credit card deposit should be instant, as for bitcoin withdrawals, they are very fast too, tried several times, everything went smoothly in 5 mins

Do they keep most of their funds in cold wallets and do they have multisig on their hot wallets?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTL] Bitleu - Romanian investment cryptocurrency - ASIC-MultiPool proof ! on: April 05, 2015, 02:26:20 PM
Hello!
Is Bitleu going to be listed somewhere again or is it Dead?

I was wondering the same thing... I just found out I lost my wallet with 100,000 Bitleu in it Sad Wallet still syncs, connected with one node. So people are still "there"... But how and what? Website bitleu.org remains empty too Sad

I'd love some feedback though, if only because I'm part of the marketing team XD

Peace!

That one node's keeping it on life support for now. Could you post it here please?
14  Other / Archival / Re: DEAD on: April 05, 2015, 02:24:03 PM
yeah this was complete scam. probably the worst one ive seen. people lost their entire investment. Its one thing for price to drop,, another for it to be worthless.

I dont think it was a scam, i honestly think it was incompentence from the dev. 3 Forks gone wrong, Stake interest was wrong from the beginning.
It all went wrong after the last fork. Iff he had fixed the last fork it al was different now.

He was way over is head on this one.

Why did he delete the OP if it was not a scam? As it stands there is no way to discover what coin this thread is about from the OP. Why hide that information if it was not a scam?

How about funding the creation of new pools with an IPO?

There have been so many scam IPOs that I doubt it would be worth it.

good news, i left the doged electrum server up last night, and just checked it, and its still running, no crashes.. working on the clients still.. but this is a great sign, as before it would crash after an hour or so..

When will the clients be ready?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RISKCOIN - Scrypt - Bittrex - More to come... on: March 23, 2015, 07:32:27 PM
Surprisingly RISK still listed in bittrex  Shocked

It will need high volume to stay there long, they get rid of low volume coins very quickly.

I know of a farmer who had his leg broken by a cow when he went too near its calf. Stay away from calfs.
