I've taken part to the plutus token sale, and as many other investors I've been convinced by your promise to rebuy the tokens at a 8$ price floor, as stated here: https://medium.com/plutus/plip-exchange-listing-sale-schedule-2774e4af52b0But AFTER the sale you changed the rules by introducing a 30$ daily swap limit, as stated here: https://medium.com/plutus/important-update-plu-fiat-limits-f7c3bc5865b5It could sound reasonable * to some extent * , but there is a little catch: exorbitant ETH gas fees make it in the practice impossible to change a little amount as 30$ without actually losing money. As a result I cannot take advantage of the 8$ price floor guarantee. I don't really care for the few hundred bucks difference it would make it in my case, but by principle I don't like such a trick in an otherwise great project. Hey! The price floor which accompanied, and preceded, the token sale was not, and should not be construed as, a guaranteed buyback. It's a way in which our token sale participants, and the wider range of Pluton holders, can convert their PLU at the same price of the token sale, within our daily and monthly limits, to fund their Plutus Debit Card and spend anywhere VISA is accepted. On the topic of daily conversion limits; these were necessary to implement as if we allowed arbitrage trading to go on unchecked with PLU on its native platform, then we open the gates for a plethora of legal and regulatory issues when it comes to how the aforementioned bodies view PLU. This could seriously impact our ability to deliver our full range of products and services. Fundamentally, Pluton (PLU) is a utility token that serves to unlock a range of benefits in the Plutus ecosystem. Its utility is growing every day and is currently at the highest it's been. We have no control over gas fees, as I'm sure you're aware, and understand they can be quite a barrier to accessing our services. In fact even though I've got just a basic plutus card, I've now realised I own a few hundreds PLU which I've bought in January 2018 and have been sitting in a MEW since - but I didn't find a clear explanation in the website on how exactly the staking process works, where to move the coins and if the coins get locked and for how long and stuff, nor which precise benefits one gets with the different amounts of PLU staked... still a quite obscure matter.
Hey Robert, awesome to hear you've found yourself a little stack hidden away. You'll be able to 'stake' directly from your own external wallet, you won't need to move the PLU anywhere. As it stands, there are no plans for lock ups. By holding the required amount of PLU you'll get access to additional fiat cash back with our affiliate partner retailers through Plutus Perks. I've just got a plutus card, which I've requested seeing the quite amazing cashback features. But I now realize these features are only available to premium members who pay a monthly fee. And I have a basic account since ATM I'm not planning a big monthly cashflow. So which exactly would be the reason to own a Plutus card with just a basic account?

As Starter plan charge almost 10 for this with no monthly charges and rest of plan have monthly fee. If you are normal user than no need to be worry just use it like normal debit card. A normal debit card which integrates two financial systems - fiat and crypto. It's worth noting that for most of July, and for the rest of August, our Starter plan is totally free - there is no cost to ordering a card  If there is no cost to get a card with starter plan than you should have to make it correct on the website. Why it still showing 9.99 this? Even starter plan is free but it doesn't offer any kind of benefits there like the other plans. Hey! Hey there! Our 'Starter' account holders still have the ability to convert their crypto securely and instantly using our decentralised exchange, the PlutusDEX. You'll still grab a European IBAN or UK Account Number and Sort Code. The main difference is that you won't earn PLU Rewards for all of your card spending. However, currently (and we intend to do this more often!), we have our July Amazon Promotion which has been extended through August. Just been checking out your website and I love the fact you offer cashback on the card. I want to open an account and do my KYC. I want an IBAN as well so I can park my crypto earnings as I work full time in crypto and do not earn FIAT at all. The banks in Cyprus are a pain in the butt and there are restrictions on bringing in crypto. Although I own one crypto debit card, i really do want to have more options, especially with ones giving rewards as well. That's another way to collect some coin while paying fro my groceries. Please refrain from making unfounded comments and accusations like this when there is no evidence to support such comments. We encouraged users from our other social media pages to check out our BTCT thread. Recently, you made a claim against us using 'sock puppet' accounts for the purpose of marketing in our 2016 ANN thread. This is simply untrue. We cannot control who posts on our thread. The posts youre referring to make up <0.5% of the total posts in the ANN thread so I think it's detrimental to the integrity of the Bitcointalk community to tarnish us with negative feedback reports. Plutus is a professional company with our roots in the cryptocurrency industry (well before the 2017 boom), we ensure that our marketing and growth is organic and that it stems from an excellent product. |

10 years after it initial launch crypto is still far from reaching mainstream adoption. Despite the fact we have so many tokens.
One main reason which I see is complexity in use of crypto.

Lots of my payment related problems can be resolved if I can get an European based bank account. Hey there, just to clear things up for everyone - our services are available throughout the UK & EEA. Specifically, in the countries listed here. It doesn't matter which nationality you are, as long as you reside in one of the countries listed above then you can go ahead and open an account with us. But if you extend this service to people living in countries in South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh ) this will help not only people living there but also hep you grow. Like in my country PayPal don't operate but if I have a bank account of EU country I can access the PayPal services. Just like e-residency program of Estonia https://e-resident.gov.ee/We've no doubt that our services would prove beneficial to the residents of South Asia, including the countries you've listed. Why the project still does not support Russia and Ukraine. I receive regular emails about your updates, but I still have no way to order a card. Is there any hope that this situation will change in the near future ?
I think it depends on the number of people who have opened accounts in these two countries, they will support more languages when the number of users in a country is large enough. However, if you and more people you know need to support this, you should contact the support channel at the website, it will be more effective because the manager rarely active on the forum. Hey Chromatics - we do regularly check the Bitcointalk thread for feedback and suggestions and collate those for our product team. We would love to expand the range of our service area to include Russia and Ukraine and I'm sure we'll be there sometime soon. As for localisation, we're hoping to translate our website and some of our promotional material into other languages over the next few months. I also still receive newsletters from the project, I live in Russia and I would like to have a Plutus card. I even tried to register for that purpose, but I saw that there was no opportunity to do this for Russian citizens, I hope this will be fixed within 2020. We hope so too, Boctok.
