If car manufacturers were really serious they'd all become car remanufacturers. Elon Musk should be selling Morris Marinas fitted with rescued washing machine engines.
Tesla is actually working towards 1M miles lifetime on drive-train and battery. They also provided battery upgraded for the original Tesla roadster, long after it ended production. They are not there yet but at least they are trying to build long lasting cars instead of frequently selling replacement cars. Hybrids are a waste of time. Part of the reason you go electric is to get rid of maintenance. A hybrid is the worst of both worlds. Either full electric or full gasoline - none of this half assed stuff.
Could have been my exact words. Why would you want the complexity, heat, weight, cost, maintenance and lifespan of a gasoline engine in a car that does not need it? And don't even start on hybrids that can not be plugged in to charge, only charge using the gasoline engine. That got to be the absolute most expensive electricity you could possibly use for charging.

New poll!
I gone for $8,751-$9,000 Good choice, so did I. Going to catch Dark Phoenix in a bit, hope its good. The last few were just not up to the bar they have set themselfs at. It's shit. She's scarier than Thanos! scarier than Theranos! (I just don't see how people could invest in someone that looks so disconnected from this world)

Where is the World is this Wall. 10 Merit Points to first correct answer. As always, it is a well known landmark.
It's not an old wall (including the Berlin walls), since it's quite modern concrete material. It's not a famous mural because those usually extend all the way to the floor. The gaps or glass in the wall is lined up with the pavement tiles, but the pavement tiles look less more than 0.5 meter. I don't think it's a metric country. Not enough gum for a (train)station, so maybe a museum or a bank building. The narrow windows would work well for bank security. (Banks have always had the most impressive façades, since that is all they are.) Edit: EU buildings in Brussels would fit that just as well as banks.

I often find myself in the middle of customs wanting to puff my chest out at the nearest official body and scream 'I am a sock puppet produced from a tachyon condensate you idiot nocoiner!' Thankfully I have been able to refrain myself so far and thus avoided potential incidents. That is all.
Bitcoin has taken all the fun out of smuggling gold bars. Just smile while nocoiners try to detect crypto-keys with a metal detector.

Proven store of value over multiple centuries: Gold ✅ Bitcoin ❌
I don't think gold is proven yet as a permanent store of value. At some point in history French kings had aluminium plates, while lower ranks had to make do with just gold plates. Aluminium was the valuable metal at that time. This could easily repeat with cobalt and related metals, which may turn out to be more technically useful than gold. (if you consider electricity storage more important than oil) Gold jewellery must compete with many otter materials, including recently 3D printed metals and ceramics, and the use of gold jewellery is very dependent on country/region and fashion fluctuations. If cobalt keeps being more useful than gold, cobalt jewellery could could become more fashionable than gold jewellery.
