Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lolMiner 0.9.2 - Grin-31 on AMDs (especially Vegas) made profitable (Dec 8)

I'm using Windows and Vega 56/64 rigs with the latest drivers running lolminer 0.9.2 however on either of my rigs I will randomly get a GPU that says "Stuck device detected, invoking emergency script."
Then the next line down says: '.' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
I did find a reboot.bat file and I tried adding a line: shutdown.exe /r /t 10
Same response as above. Is there somewhere that I need to enable this rather handy watchdog feature, or is there certain syntax that needs to be used?
As for the error, I'm wondering if my P3/P7 are off. I'm having a heck of a time with adjusting as these cards can absorb electricity at stock, wow. I did quite well with tweaking for XMR but G31 appears to be different.
V56 x8 (onsite) P7 = 1350 / 890 P3 = 950 / 800 Power Target = -50% Result: 0.7g/s per GPU
V64 x4 (offsite) P7 = 1408 / 925 P3 = 945 / 1000 Power Target = 10% Result: 1g/s per GPU
Any assistance and knowledge would be appreciated, thank you.
Hey for the Vega 64s my suggestion : P6 - ODT : 1305/850 ; Hwinfo : 1237/820 P3 - ODT : 1028/850 ; Hwinfo(mem clock and soc clock) : 1028 Power Target - 0% ( Stock) Driver : 19.10.1 Results : 1.07 g/s for 190 watts at the wall

With current C31 code Vega 64 does 1.1 g/s at 180 W (settings: 1380 / 1000 @ 0.912V) making it the 2nd most profitable algorithm after CNR for V64 (!!!).
https://ibb.co/JmrWnF3Testing this : 6x Vega 64 rig Clocks : ODT : 1344/1028/920mv Results : 3.2 g/s for 6 cards => 0.53 g/s per card Power(wall) : 1305 watts => approx 205 watts per card No where near your 1.1 g/s @ 180 watts Note: when i started the miner, it say Name: Radeon RX Vega Address: 9:0 Vendor: Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Memory: 8176 MByte (8171 MByte free) Active: true (Selected Algorithm: Cuckatoo 31-4G) May be need to enable 8gb solver for vega 64 ? May be need to enable 8gb solver for vega 64 ?
Thats odd... is this 0.9 or 0.9.1? Please check! I ask because even the 0.9.1 4G solver should be much quicker. If its 0.9: then the 8G does not load because the Binary Kernel can not be loaded --> install Adrenalin 19.10.1 or newer in Windows or 19.30 in Linux. Also upgrade to 0.9.1, pool hash is better with that one. Retested : 6x Vega 64 Rig on windows 10 Results: Driver : 18.6.1 0.9.0 -> 3.200 g/s - after fee - 3.168 @ 1305 watt => 0.528 g/s @ 206.67 watt -> 2.555 g/w Clocks : 1344/1028/920
Driver : 19.10.1 0.9.1 -> 6.160 g/s - after fee - 6.098 @ 1205 watt => 1.016 g/s @ 190.00 watt -> 5.347 g/w Clocks : 1305/1028/850 Reaching 1.1 on a vega 64 is possible in lolminer also

Running tests on ETH Vega 64 reference cards on windows 10 using 18.6.1 drivers Actual effective core speed of 930mhz is the best speed for ETH on my cards. By this i mean the speed u see in HWinfo or in the stats report when u press 'S' in TRM. Anything above this is just adding temp/power with no HR improvements and anything below this reduces the HR. Setting : TRM Eth Config -> A1024 Timing -> --RAS 32 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 10 --RC 44 --RP 12 --RRDS 3 --RRDL 3 --FAW 12 --REF 15600 --RFC 248 ODT speeds : 930(P6 locked)/1028(p3 unlocked)/835mV @ 1028 SOC HWinfo speeds : 935/1028/812mV TRM speeds : 935/1028/835mV Results : 47.76mh/s per card On 6 cards : 1275 core -> 286.0 mh @ 1278 watts -> 0.2238 mh/w 930 core -> 286.0 mh @ 1166 watts -> 0.2453 mh/w Note : these watts are at the wall with 5 120mm fans blasting the cards, actual efficiency(hash/watt) is better than this. Note: - U can get the same Hash/watt results with 1100 mem clock and go over 50mh/s
- I dont use 1100 mem clock, cause HBM temp arent controllable!! My ambients are high
- I dont blow the tREF over 15600, cause i wany my card to stay alive long

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What will you mine with Vegas after monero going RandomX?

As above.
Of course my 2 Vegas were amazing mining Monero, performance in CN is just amazing. I have other rig with 4 Polaris 4 Gb cards mining ETH, still the most profitable coin with Polaris, so that's not a concern for now (maybe when DAG doesn't fit the 4 Gb cards...)
But that will change with monero going RandomX, I would need 8 Vegas to give the same hashrate as my Ryzen 3900x @ 130W...
What are you planing to mine with Vegas after monero fork?
I will mine eth not much else to choose from. LOL !! Mining ETH with Vega Check Vertcoin, ZCoin, Conceal, Bittube All these are quite good coins.

Hey, I cant find the new SRB Multi Miner on the profit profiles miner list. It needs to be added for CPU and AMD.
Also you added a bunch of yespower algos, they need to be linked to zergpool pool/port. Thx
I can only see Yespower and YespowerR16 on the web sites for zergpool and zpool and those two are already listed in the Online Services tab in Awesome Miner. Please let me know if I missed anything. Missing just 1 : Zergpool : Power2b AM Algo : YesPower2b Any way to add SRBMultiMiner to the profit profiles miner list under CPU and AMD?

@Patrike I have MicroBT Whatsminer M20S problem - when i try to change pools or restart miner it doesnt react. API access is privileged, ssh unlocked. AM is trying to remove pools and change to selected but fails to do so.
I was recently investigating M20s with another user. The M20 and M21 miners are restricting external applications from making any operations like restart and pool changes - even when they state they have privileged API access. This is a limitation Whatsminer built in to their firmware for security reasons. I've been in contact with Whatsminer for this and I also have other users that reached out to them. It turns out that they do have another firmware in the pipeline where they do allow these kind of operations. One of my users recently got this firmware by contacting the Whatsminer product support, but it turned out to still have some limitation so they are waiting on Whatsminer for another update. I don't have a more detailed answer to this right now, but as soon Whatsminer release a firmware update where they allow pool changes and similar operations over their API - it will work with Awesome Miner as well. can you please add sparkminer for CKB , trying to set it up now and it uses --server and --wallet for user Spark has no API support, i had to use it in full command line mode.

Bug Report in guided setup. The new start file is created in the following way SRBMiner-MULTI.exe --config Config\config-yespower.txt --pools Pools\pools-yespower.txt --disable-gpu --logfile Logs\log-yespower.txt Correct bat SRBMiner-MULTI.exe --config-file Config\config-yespower.txt --pools-file Pools\pools-yespower.txt --disable-gpu --log-file Logs\log-yespower.txt Setup uses the old srbminer format.
