I have not thought about that problem yet. If the government is against the blockchain, the government is fighting the modern technology of the world. Only people in our IT industry understand its benefits.

The masternode function is instantaneous. If it can help users create faster interactions, users will use long term.
Yes, WealthSilo users will find that the onset of their smart device or desktop as the adapter is extremely easy to do instead of trying to start exploiting blockchain. Do WealthSilo users have control over their investments? According to Whitepaper, WealthSilo attaches great importance to such investments and will take every step to provide users with control over their investments.

does anyone really think youtube or something like it could run on ethereum? And if it could, would people pay for the service instead of giving over their data to google for the free version, like they do now? We had a more decentralized internet and look at us now, on centralized forums like reddit And if my understanding is correct... once you publish a dapp, you can't update the code, only publish new versions that would run alongside the old? that seems very bad, especially in the long term. crufty. psh I guess I'm responding to a link that was removed which makes sense since it was v. off topic

The people here who believe in bitcoin's future will tell you to buy (like me) and the haters will tell you not to. spend some time and learn about why it was created and how it works, then you can decide for yourself if it is a good idea to get a hold of some, instead of relying on the opinions of others. A good list of resources to get started is here: http://lopp.net/bitcoin.html

securing world's financial system is not a waste of energy; introducing any valuable side effects of mining would destabilize mining incentive system; energy is going green anyways.

at the end only bitcoin has the best dev team. but in the meantime there's useful altcoins that solve real problems. 100% sure bitcoin will be the reference store of value.

You only understood this now? There might be some (new) alt coins going around. But the real value is in bitcoin.

your shitcoin will be glorious and successful. Just like all those companies that got VC funds in 1998, until the big 2000 "holy shit" moment.
If its worth having as a feature, it gets folded into Bitcoin.

There's many projects I believe in, for my comment I just increased holdings in Monero, Syscoin and Factom so far. But I'm researching others.
However it's best to do your own research on what you think is going to be a good project long-term.
If you have no idea I just recommend putting a small amount in Bitcoin and Ethereum and researching as you go. Just don't put more money than you can afford to lose, cryptos are really risky.

Ethereum will have adoption 3-5 years after bitcoin hits its full adoption. There is no utility to Ethereum now and we will all get plenty more opportunities to buy it even cheaper. It’s great for 1000 people who code. Bitcoin needs adoption first. Bcash needs to be destroyed as a warning and punishment and than us pre-early adopters (not speculators) will repeat the benefits. Too much dumb money in the market like Nick Szabo said most of it in shit coins specifically Bcash.
Bitcoin market cap needs to approach 70-75% followed by Ethereum than litecoin which can act as a Lightning payment channel on ramp with atomic swaps. That’s all that is needed.
Let the dumb money be lost. Majority of it all flows up.
actually by adding schnorr signatures they are enabling taproot which will allow monero like functionality to some degree. Improvements are made on bitcoin but i do agree some alts including monero have merit.

any altcoin that is not decentralized is not immutable and therefore not scarce, not secure, not censorship resistant, not trustless, because the centralized entity that controls it is also the one that stands to profit the most from modifying their protocol. remember this
ETH heads have said Buterin can put a max cap on Ethers. Why wasn't it there to begin with and who says he can't take it away again?

I would be worried about the dip, but luckily the floor is $6,500 so there's nothing to worry about!
Why do people keep saying 6.5 is the floor when we are below 6.5 most of this week.
