1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NYM - Building the next generation of privacy infrastructure on: December 29, 2019, 05:43:52 PM

Hey will this be as secure as Monero but with token capabilities?

This is not a blockchain but a network that users of a blockchain such as monero can use NYM to make their transactions more private.
Think of it as a similar tool as TOR or I2P.

Does the FBI monitor TOR and own TOR exit nodes to snoop on? Can NYM obfuscate this further?

Send these guys a message for a exchange listing.... They started not so long ago and list for free

https://urlzs.com/LqDVs

Nice bait, not clicking THAT.
To everyone else reading this curious, click on the username of person who wrote this message and look at their posting history.
Scammers often but or farm Legendary accounts to post shit like this while appearing legitimate.

I have an exchange recommendation and I'm not a scammer! Cheesy

But I would really recommend txbit, which is a dutch exchange launched in the last six months or so. Not on coinmarketcap yet but almost there (just linking the APIs (https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/txbit/)). They're PCI-DCS certified too (one of the few exchanges). Also no KYC or withdrawal limits etc...

Cheap to list but worth trying out for the community vote too to get in for free.

https://txbit.io/

I'm back and it worked - backed up the wallet, deleted the old chain, reinstated wallet - BOOM TROLL staking back online!

Nodes not working in windows 2.0 wallet, cannot install linux wallet  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

Sorry you're having trouble, I'm running a few 2.0 wallets on Windows machines & syncing fine. And others are able to compile 2.1 on Linux from source, have you gone through the compile guide available here in the original post?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=452810.msg4987300#msg4987300

Yeah I tried the pre-reqs but got the error above on my ubuntu vm.

I'll download the wallet from scratch on windows and see if that works - just to confirm I should use the 2.0 nodes with the windows wallet?

Check out this video by Mr Sujano, he put a Trollcoin wallet on a Raspberry pi & had similar issues solved. Hope it helps!

"If he's using a Pi 3B+, tell him to watch this video. I encountered a similar issue that has the fix. Hopefully it helps. I haven't ran the wallet on Pi4, but the fix might work as well on that.

No raspberry pi but ubuntu 18.04 linux vm

Awesome - Looks like a cool project.

Sadly it's not. Which is why it desperately needs Reward Portal Grin

MainStay leaf sidechains on the CommerceBlock network can choose their network fee currency. This means leaf sidechains can pay out in Bitcoin, so you can stack sats on a Bitcoin sidechain with your CBT GuardNode using their Decred inspired stake ticketing system  Cool
What does this mean for the development of the project? What do you mean with Bitcoin payments?

Well it means they're developing something cool! Check out their github https://github.com/commerceblock

This article also has a good explanation of everything too...https://medium.com/@magrospic/commerceblock-cbt-mainstay-bitcoin-sidechains-covalence-token-economy-guardnodes-bip175-78a221499fcc

CBT is doing all the right moves. This is the coin to be in

Mainnet soon too!

CommerceBlock Team are smashing it!

Mainstay.

LOVE this project  Smiley
Big things gonna happen with this one!  $CBT

Yep yep!!!

its about time though. its CEO i remember wasn't really that known in crypto but were invited to speak for big audiences which is why i also see this project to have a good chance of getting a post in the future. i only have few of this token, not worth dumping but i'd like to see the project succeed eventually. this has the privacy feature right?

This the sort of news you're after?  Grin

Securosys, CommerceBlock and Crypto Finance AG are launching the world's first blockchain HSM!

I was thinking more just the post itself, upvotes and downvotes on the content. Will help identify cheap shill posts etc

Sort of like reddit?

Pretty cool idea, crowd-curating the top voted content.

Yeah helps filter out the dodgy stuff

I like this.

Will you guys deploy a Like & Edit button for posts, on the social side?

Glad to hear!

Yeah sure adding a Like button would be fairly trivial, though we haven't considered implementing Edit.

Can't wait to get a couple of API's hooked up and check the trading terminal

And as many exchange APIs as possible!

Please, be our guest!

We've integrated Bitfinex, Bittrex and Poloniex for now. Binance will be next, and more on the way.

Post ranking would be cool

Do you mean like a ranking of traders' performance?
