1  Economy / Securities / Re: [Minershare.net] KnC Neptune Miner #1 batch shares, $4/GHs, No hidden fees on: February 26, 2014, 06:17:25 PM
There are people in this thread who recorded Skype sessions. But if they were clever enough (and they did a lot of work just to cover everything) it's hard to get anything usefull out of this.

As you say, it's just a matter of time...

I saw this investment as risk, but I verfied anything I could do beside meeting them personally. The first doubts occured when their site was down. Anything else seems to be legit and there aren't other possibilities than this to get the ROI. I've risked it and failed. It extremly sucks... I can live with my lost because I diversified my investments. But I really feel bad for other people who I convinced with my own toughts I belived in and perhaps lost essential money they need (I don't hope it, but I take this serious).

And now everyone can come and tell us "we told you to not...". Go for it, if it gives you a good feeling...

I've got 10 shares (in BTC) and 1 trough affiliating their offer so I also lost more than enough. I really feel ashame for everyone who I convinced for this. I tried to get as many information as I could to verify the offer. I've learnt my lesson. NEVER NERVER NEVER trust in anyone without escrow and get the service/hardware/cash first.

The only thing I can tell is that I take also legal actions against them. But guys, there is something like karma (I'm not religious). I know people who invested also and who will hunt them down. On their position, I would enjoy the cash as long as I can, because when they find them, it's definitly over and nothing can give them the same value for what they have to expect for this sellout. I really wouldn't switch my position with them.

@Mods: Please move this thread to the scam section.

And it's displayed in my client two times (for a reasignement it should only have one entry).

Okay - so it would seem that this is a client bug then.

Finally have moved onto the next page - again - guys please don't put in multiple screen snapshots (unless the idea is to get rid of me - in which case just do it a few more times and you'll succeed).

Thanks a lot for your answer. I understand it now.

I not got the same alias twice, but I payed for the same alias and URI a second time. Right?

Hard to follow your post as my screen keeps jumping back to screen snapshots (already posted about that). Sad

So you are saying you have "two" aliases that are the same - did you check that through the Nxt block explorer?

No he just got it wrong, he reassigned the alias.

And it's displayed in my client two times (for a reasignement it should only have one entry).
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: February 11, 2014, 03:18:17 PM
Yet another client-side check?

It makes sense that a client should such checks rather than the NRS itself - the server side is correct to assume "that you know what you are doing" so if you ask to re-assign an alias to the same value then as far as the server is concerned that is what you meant.

The other way I guess it could be resolved would be to have a "second parameter" to the alias API that states whether it is "creating" or "updating" the alias.

The client displayed me an error about a timeout. I didn't tought it went trough. But after it billed me for both aliases (same alias, same URL). I'm not sure if I understand you correctly: This is only a client problem and the two same aliases I get displayed under "Account aliases" are a bug? I not got the same alias twice, but I payed for the same alias and URI a second time (for the assignement). Right?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: February 11, 2014, 03:01:16 PM
I have 2 aliases with the same name

Not possible. Provide your account number please.

What is possible is to reassign an alias. say I bought the alias "google", but I assigned a wrong URI to it. Then I would assign the alias again (with 1NXT fee) and change the URI. Only the owner of an alias can reassign it.

Another possibility that could have happened to you is that you set the deadline too short. Say you set the deadline to 1 minute, and the next block gets created after 2 minutes, then your alias assignement gets cancelled because it was not included in a block before hitting deadline.

Thanks a lot for your answer. That was also what I was thinking/understood. My account # is 18282429533886242938. The URI is exactly the same as the alias. Both aliases have now over 70 confirmations.

PS: I'm using NXT Solaris client 1.7.0.20 (x64) and NRS 0.7.2.

Is the problem of the blockchain which was mentioned here the reason why I have 2 aliases with the same name? This shouldn't be possible as far as I know.

I really would be extremly cool if any of the more experienced NXT users can explain me this because I seriously considering buying me in into NXT and want to know everything I can first.

One big question I didn't found an answer for: With next it's possible to create/buy an alias. I've did dis but because of a timeout the same alias is created two times and costed me two times the fee. Isn't this a bug or aren't aliases unique?

Did you try to contact them via email (I can ping their domain)? And please read this thread, I don't think you got scamed.

Think you should blame your providers Wink site is available back in Germany since 13:40 (UTC+1) Smiley

Thanks for your feedback. Seems to be my DNS cache is a little bit slower than yours. I don't blame them (read this thread), I only try to be as transparent as I can be, because it's my reputation too if I affilate them. I think I did more than enough for them and was always fair. I'm looking forward now Smiley

Hello again,

Could it be a browser cache issue? It works for me and I tried checking if it works through http://webthumbnail.org (they take screenshots of websites) and everything was ok.

Anyway, we're still here and not going anywhere.

Best regards,
Minershare team

You are right this site was able to make a thumbnail. http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/minershare.net.html shows it as down. I think it takes some time to refresh the caches.

Hello!

Sorry for the downtime. It was due to our mistake - the email registered with domain was not verified. It is now and it seems, that our website is up and working! http://minershare.net/

Best regards,
Minershare team

Thanks for your update. A little help here on the thread would be usefull too. Hard to defend you if I don't get the latest information from you.
18  Economy / Securities / Re: [Minershare.net] KnC Neptune Miner #1 batch shares, $4/GHs, No hidden fees on: January 31, 2014, 12:46:15 PM
I still got nothin' bud xD
Guess they haven't put it back up just yet

The downforeveryone... shows it as still down too, but DNS changes need a little time till they are propagated.

He just contacted me on skype.
the website was down because he didnt confirm the domain name with the domain name server. so it got taken offline..
the emails are registered with the domain so there for they also went offline.. he said he has updated all info
and that he is just waiting on the servers to come back online now..

dont worry i dont think he is gonna do a runner...

Thanks for the update!

Sounds legit because the DNS entries are proofing this (email). Showed also something like ns1.verification-hold.suspended-domain.com (http://who.is/dns/minershare.net). I think this is true.
