881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top Bitcoin Wallets ? on: July 27, 2023, 02:32:30 PM
Good evening,
Which hot wallets are top in your opinion?
Do you mean hot or wallets that are at the top? Maybe this site: https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html can help you for that matter. But, if you mean wallet brands, you can refer to this site:  https://money.com/best-crypto-wallets/

Credits to the owners of those links and also to Google for finding them.

As of now, I'm only using Trustwallet. I know there are better wallets than it, but I find this one interesting. I like its simple interface and the wallet is also easy to use. It was non-costudial although some says its semi centralized but it's fine since I'm only storing a few cryptos on here and I don't really HODL a crypto for a long time. Before it, I have tried different wallets, including Myetherwallet, Blockchain.com, Coinomi, Electrum, Coinbase and the recent one is Metamask. It was a nice experience though. You can also check all or some of them and see if you develop any likings.
882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 26, 2023, 06:18:10 PM
I don't think Mbappe should stay at PSG just because he is going to get a loyalty bonus. Because there is an enormous offer on the table by Al Hilal now. They are ready to pay an amount between 700-800 million euros to Mbappe for only one season. There is no reason for Mbappe not to accept that deal now in my opinion.

Of course he would like to play at Real Madrid but this won't happen until next season as it seems. He can take advantage of the season between like this rather than staying for getting that loyalty bonus which is worth way lower than the amount of money he can make at Al Hilal.
Mbappé won't extend his contract with PSC even though he stayed at psg because his contract with PSG expired but now that he has received a big offer from the Saudi League, he might move to Saudi Arabia for a year for sure. The offer made to Mbappe benefits both Mbappe and the club and guarantees Mbappe will join Real Madrid as a free agent next season Al Hilal so I think it's a great opportunity for Mbappe to earn money if he plays in the Saudi league for a year I don't think there will be any negative impact on performance. It would be the biggest transfer in football history if Mbappe joins Al Hilal. Mbappe's transfer is at the heart of the transfer market.
A player telling even from a year away that he is not going to play in that team doesn't make sense to me. I mean I am not against players leaving, just that not too much common that we all know he will leave after the contract ends a year later.

In any case, Mbappe should figure out where he wants to play up next already, if he goes to Saudi league and then come back to Real Madrid he is going to have a very tough adjusting period, he will be playing against easy opponents there and then suddenly play against the best in the world. That type of setback will cause him to not be that great, it is going to cause the teams to not really have trust in him. I bet that he is thinking about that as well, lets see what happens.
883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: July 25, 2023, 06:44:15 PM
Hitting 1,000x in plinko is 0.0015% or we can say it is 1 in 150k if my math is correct Smiley
I play this game a lot and I have hit 1,000x many times but most of the time it was just small bet $0.1-$0.3
I love this game since I play it for the first time years ago, the best thing in this game is that there is a guarantee 0.2x bet back in each bet because there is no 0x in the plinko game that I play.
Actually slot is better if the main idea is to hunt big multiplier because it gives more chances and more variations of multiplier.
wow, interesting, do you think it's possible to beat the house only using math or impossible? I know that by logic it should be impossible because the house always win.... but maybe if you're really lucky it'd be a way to bet with bigger amounts too
How does any math apply in gambling when the result of every bet is generated randomly by a random number generator? There is basically no way for a gambler to be able to beat the house, you can't apply any formula or anything that will change the result, because it is always random, and most of the time, it's against you because of the house edge, so whether you are going to win a bet or not is totally dependent on your luck and nothing can change that.

Even the people who are lucky in everything else can lose in gambling because your luck cannot work all the time in gambling, the house will win eventually even if you are winning constantly, if you are a wise gambler, you will exit while the house is in loss but that barely happens.
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: July 25, 2023, 06:04:19 PM
If you happen to find yourself in a religion that say gambling is a sin and could end up being ostracized then it's in your best interest to either be obedient and keep to the laws of your religion or you could change to another religion where you would not be criticised, left for me inthink why most religions comsider it a sin is because they feel it promotes greed and other illegal activities, however it would be very bias when the say it's a sin but only discriminate or punish women only because that would be promoting gender inequality.
Anyways the ratio of men that ate gamblers would always be greater than women due to factors like religion, gender inequality, fear of discrimination an so forth, also men in our society you'll find men more interested in things related with gambling, like sports, video games, and other events and since most don't have an idea about it, they see no reasons to pick interest in it as well, hopefully in future more women could likely begin to pick interest in it because of the introduction of women to various sporting activities.
In general, a religion prohibits its followers from doing certain things because they can be harmful to them or to others, so as you said, if a religion prohibits gambling, it is only because it can result in people involved in it doing things that are not good like doing illegal things only to get more money, lying from others about what they do, or a lot of other things that are caused by gambling addiction, I don't think there can be any other motive to it.

Also, I don't think that the reason why the quantity of men gamblers is higher than women is because women are unequal or are discriminated for doing this, but the main reason is personal interest and the nature that they have which doesn't allow them to waste money and we all know that when you gamble, you tend to waste a lot of money on it.
885  Economy / Economics / Re: Population: Economic strength or weakness on: July 25, 2023, 06:29:09 AM
How do you think these developed nations will fill vacancies in their nations and get cheap labor if the population of these developing nations is reduced?
China is the most populated country in the world, is it underdeveloped? No, but it is one of the most developed countries in the world as of today, so the argument of a country being underdeveloped because of its population is totally baseless because we have a lot of examples of places that are overly populated but are still very much developed and are developing even more as the time goes, so economists that believe in this need to understand that this isn't correct.

I totally agree that the reason why a country stays underdeveloped is because of a lack of proper governance and usage of available resources, when a country struggles to develop at a good pace even if it has enough resources and minerals and stuff, it is only because there is corruption and the government isn't up to the task.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: July 23, 2023, 06:23:18 PM
You probably know that almost all new meme projects are coming out now. Do you think it is really risky? what effect do you think this could have for the bull market!
There was a time I also investment some good fund of mine and after the result of it that itself made me stay away or avoid it.  So all think are happened for only risk so I think you already understand that's how much it risky. So currently I always suggest everyone to avoid it and not to invest in meme coin , it will save their fund. Even then anyone want a invest on meme coin and wanna be quick reach in short time you can lose your fund. I also don't say that meme coin always bring to face losses because many have earn a big amount of profit by it. And for this I will say that invest in it small amount like $10.
And what's wise about some of the developers of these meme coins who know that their token won't earn any value and is going to die, is they simply don't accept small investments and asks their investors to start from at least $50 as an initial investment when there is a token sale or something, they do this so that people don't buy with small amounts and they can get a lot of money since most people are crazy about meme coins after some of them got successful.

The reality is, you can't get rich through meme coins even if you are investing $10 in each one of them, you will simply lose your money in the long run because none of these meme coins are going to gain significant success through community hype and investments because it requires heavy promotions and advertisements.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 23, 2023, 06:10:51 AM
That statement is a fallacy they use it to encourage their fellow gamblers not to quit and to raise their hope in a hopeless situation, where is the hope for a gambler who incurred series of losses up to getting liquidated? Absolutely none the best bet is to completely quit gambling and start new a life rather than continue with lt.
Those who just continue to gamble without realizing that they have lost will lose more money because stopping would be better for them. Playing gambling is different from other things where if you lose, you lose. However, if you try to play gambling again, you will only experience even more losses, even though you may get a win, but the amount of your previous losses is already greater than the number of your wins. So they should be able to stop before the money runs out. Otherwise, they would only suffer more loss.
Exactly, people need to realize that gambling isn't something where this rule of when you quit then you lose applies, it can be applied to anything else in life where hard work is the main reason for success, but in gambling, the result is totally dependent on luck and hard work has nothing to do with it, I know that some parts of gambling such as sports betting require some work from you like analyzing the teams and doing some research, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't stop when you are constantly losing.

In gambling, the wisest person is who stops gambling when they realize they are not winning at all, because if they keep gambling, they wouldn't get any luckier only because of that, and they will just keep wasting all their money until they run out of money and then they realize that they should have stopped earlier.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: July 22, 2023, 07:46:05 PM
Yes, arbitrage betting always favors you as a gambler, but once the sports house finds about your practices, the chance of
freezing your account or void your bets can take place.

Not only that, the chance of closing your account without getting your money back is also possible, it's not easy access since
house also needs to protect their money.
Getting your account banned for arbitrage betting is a very probable option. If it wasn't we'd all be doing that and all betting sites would go bust. But no legally operating casino can seize your funds permanently as that'd be simply illegal. At very worst they could freeze your account for the time of investigation if they suspected any abuse, or they could not pay you your winnings if they had evidence of you violating the terms of service, but that would be pretty hard to do for arbitrage betting, as the betting site can't see your betting history on other platforms.
I wonder how they will suspect you for doing arbitrage betting if they can't share or receive information with other casinos and in arbitrage betting, you are doing nothing other than placing a bet on a team just like every normal user does, it can either be a win or a loss for you. I've always thought that maybe casinos have some global way of sharing information with each other about gamblers who are potential cheaters, and violating the terms and conditions.

So they will either not be able to suspect you for doing arbitrage betting or if they do suspect you, it simply means that they have some kind of contact between casino managements where they share information with each other for gamblers like you who try to cheat or do arbitrage betting which is against the terms and conditions of the casinos.
889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: price action on: July 22, 2023, 07:15:41 PM
There was a site that gave statistics such as which cryptocurrencies and stocks have risen and fallen the most in the last 5, 15, 30 minutes, etc.
Does anyone know the name of that site? I don't remember the name.
I can't say for stocks but, coinmarketcap.com does that for cryptos and when I mean cryptos, am not subjecting it yo just bitcoin but across all crypto asset and that means, altcoins as well.
You can access the charts and the statistics within a given time frame based on the adjusted meter that is provided. You just have to pick a coin and the timing yo which statistics your concentrated on.

Virtually a lot of other sites do keep this historical data for reference purposes by its users in making analysis or research purposes. Still, it's a good means to understanding the market environment based on past records or behaviours.
If we have sites like Coinmarketcap for crypto, then I believe there must be for stocks as well. I actually take a quick search and found this one here: https://www.marketwatch.com/market-data. I hope that helps and I hope that is the one the OP is lookin for. There are other similar sites that are on top of the results page but they are not free and require a registration first before you can be able to see the statistics, so I just choose this one.

You can't make a technical analysis without these tools so yeah they are very important for the traders. Other sites aren't limited on providing historical and current prices but they also have other features which are also helpful for the experience and newbie traders.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $1,080 Billion powerball lotto winner in the USA on: July 22, 2023, 06:33:20 PM
I just saw a news on youtube that someone won the $1,080 Billion jackpot prize on the Powerball lotto in the US. In the video I watched, someone claims that she was the winner, but as of now, there is still no official announcement from the lottery organization. also, the store where the winning ticket was bought will receive a $1 Million bonus from the organization.
Even if the winner is going to receive half of that more than $1 billion it's still enough to make him one of the richest, there are a lot of dilemmas and stigmas associated when you become an instant multi-millionaire, suddenly from being an ordinary you becoming magnified and everything you want in life are easily reach, I hope the winner is educated enough to know the value of money and the best thing in life, if he is still young I hope he puts it in helping others as this is a one of a kind blessing.
Not everything as there are still some things which can not be bought by money. Winning the heart of a woman for example. They won't just come to you simply because you have billions now. If the winner is not educated enough, he can always use the money to go to school or he can hire someone that can manage his finances better.

A young person has a lot of desire but an old person can be weak to pursue some things so all that they want to do is to pass their money to someone else but there is no age requirement when lending a help. There is no point of being selfish with all of that money that you won. When you help others, you will also feel good.
891  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 22, 2023, 05:58:11 PM
It can be done, especially if he really likes something and decides to make it to make money. I've seen some people who used to be doing something just for fun but they decided to exploit its potential and found that what it was doing could be profitable.

A clear example, in this case, is if someone really likes culinary and he tries to do a review of the culinary he visited. From what was originally just a hobby or fun, it can be a source of income because there are many offers to review places to eat. Countless people have successfully followed their passion to increase their net worth and they discovered it by accident.

What stops us from following it is laziness. We feel we can't be like them and have no passion to do something even though we haven't tried it. Another reason is that we only imitate what other people do even though it won't suit us especially to make money. We have to find our passion and do it with pleasure so that from that happy feeling, there is a desire to go further. Find your passion and do it and you will find your way to grow it.
I thought you're going to say that those people who are into culinary are cooking something for selling later on but that is also a good example right? As for the food review, now I know why there are lots of videos I saw lately about them. Didn't knew that those food reviewers are earning something and maybe the food that they eat is also free? That's a triple treat then.

If we truly love something, we will do it naturally and we won't feel lazy about it. I think the real one that stops us from doing something is being afraid to fail. When it comes to making money or working on a job, it's not that we follow others but it's just that there is only a limited jobs available most of the times, so we just grab the opportunity. The nature of the work wasn't really that tough anyway and it can be done with or without a skill.
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the altcoin go up in price if the bitcoin price goes up? on: July 21, 2023, 06:59:59 PM
A somewhat similar trend has been followed by the crypto market when looking at Bitcoin and altcoin pumps. When bitcoin is pumping, altcoins prices will decrease. Moreover, when Bitcoin is dumped, the altcoins prices will go further down. And when the price of Bitcoin consolidated after all this, then there is an altcoin season. Now, the majority of altcoins will test a new all-time high.
this much is true and I also seen the same similar pattern in which if bitcoin prices in general going up, it just doesn't mean altcoin will also go up, usually the dominance of altcoins are plummeted and got eaten by bitcoin first until the bitcoin price is going up so high and consolidate as you said and then thats the time for altcoin season.
meaning that if we are entering a new bullish era doesn't necessarily means that every coin out there would be going up at first it will be bitcoin with its massive rally and potentially reaching all time high and then the turns change. that is the time for altcoin to take advantage of the greed of the market and the bullish.
Yes, that's because sometimes the effect is delayed or the increase in Bitcoin is too small to influence the others. I think the demand of alts are still the same, it's just that sometimes there are new people who entered and they go on Bitcoin first. When BTC is rising, it gives an illusion that altcoins are falling but it wasn't actually.

If BTC price reaches to a higher point, people will be intimidated to buy and they may switch out to altcoin for a while. This is the time that altcoins can catch up and a bull run is officially started. Sometimes people will sell their BTC first, to have a capital. This allows us to see an altcoin season only while BTC price is already dumping.
893  Economy / Gambling / Re: How much time for a Duelbits withdrawal? Been 24h+ on: July 21, 2023, 06:14:30 PM
With that long of a withdrawal delay, I hope you've contacted support. and don't miss any emails you might get. check all your email folders, most likely you will be asked for KYC with a delay in your withdrawal.
I hope this isn't your first draw at Duelbits. this is not comfortable but I hope you are patient with the reply from support.
I hope there are no problems with your account and money.
He said this was his first time playing on Duelbits so you are right that it might be about the KYC but even if it's about other problems, KYC can still be asked for them to know that you are a fair user. We are not comfortable when we experience the same thing even if there is only small amount involved so how much more here when the amount at risk is $20k? Whether he is impatient or not, he still can't do anything but to wait for things to get sorted out.

I have made a few deposits and withdrawals recently with Duelbits, but the sums were much lower (100-300 max), and my withdrawal requests never took more than an hour to proceed. However it is logical to assume that with such large amounts they will likely ask you to verify your account to confirm your age and prevent any potential money laundering attempts that's why your request is taking longer.
If you are a legitimate gambler who didn't violate any of the casino rules or live in a restricted county then there is nothing to worry about. In addition to waiting you can contact their live chat support for a faster response regarding your case.
Is it in dollars? Then no way it is small but how long you have been playing on this site? Maybe it wasn't your first and then you already completed your KYC. Maybe if he verify his KYC first, he won't experience a hassle like this but he may not be expecting it since he said his withdrawals on other casinos have went smoothly. He is already on the casino before so I believe he already contacted the support there but he might be alarmed and asked our help here.
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin according to Satoshi is digital money then why call it investment. on: July 21, 2023, 05:16:59 PM
Bitcoin is an asset that allows its holders to earn huge returns due to the very high market demand. Its price volatility allows you to make multiple profits instead of using it as a means of payment. Of course it's fine if you don't make bitcoins as an investment asset, but you may miss the opportunity to get a return from its price volatility.

Bitcoin is traded around the clock and it would definitely be a great value added asset to have. While some users consider it digital gold, it's because of how the market works just like any other investment asset.
Bitcoin is originally designed to a be a digital currency. However, since it’s adoption is still in the process, people are free to use it as an investment knowing it can give us massive returns everytime it’s value surges high and reaches another peak price. Through long term hodling and trading, bitcoin can give us 10x profits as long as we’re aware when would be its best time to sell, and that is when it’s price has reached its all time high.
Though what you say is right but having unrealistic expectations is not good in my opinion. Expecting to gain 10x on a Bitcoin investment right now or after it enters the bull run will be a lot to expect, one could easily get 10x or even more if they had invested in Bitcoin when it was still at its early stages, maybe even when it was priced below $10k, but expecting that much now, when the price is already around $30k and it was even higher, might only bring disappointment in the long run.

A realistic and achievable target should be maybe about 3x or something because even if goes 3x up from here, it will be priced at around $90k which is achievable if there are a lot of investments during the bull run which will pump the price further and it might hit that target eventually during the bull run.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Stop Gambling Even If You're Doing Great If This Happens To You on: July 21, 2023, 04:38:21 PM
I don't know why when I read this topic it's like I'm watching a drama entitled "a child doesn't get any inheritance as a result of not obeying the wishes of his parents". This situation will lead me to two choices, I will continue my desire secretly to inherit from my parents.
Of course this action is full of risks if my parents find out I'm placing a bet, but there is a special trick so my parents can't catch me. Rich parents are very busy with their work, their daily life is always filled with work, work and work. At some point he would fly out of town to take care of his business, that was the best opportunity to channel my passion.
If you can stand a lie, you will not hesitate of doing it. This is what they say that a person can do anything for the money or in order to earn more of it. If you already develop a gambling addiction, your brain must be messed up already and it can also lead you to do unwanted things such as lying. The inheritance would be a great help to you to feed your addiction but if you don't change, you will still lose it all.

You don't need to wait for your parents to flew out of town before you play gambling in a real/offline casino because there are now online gambling which you can play in your phone secretly or any device as long as it has an internet connection and a web browser in case your parents restrict you to use a smartphone and a computer.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: July 21, 2023, 02:35:19 PM
What you are asking is too specific for a thread, in my opinion, even if someone deposited a small amount in order to give a chance to a new casino or betting platform (which is reasonable to think of) still, it is very unlikely someone here would so that and yet manage to get a huge multiplier.

That being said, I have never been that lucky so I cannot offer further comment. Hope anyone can pull something like that off and share it with us.
For the KYC part maybe, but for the rest, I think it's not that common. Winning a small amount is already unlikely so how much more if it's a big one right? But for the hundreds and thousands of gamblers that are playing on the casino, there must be a few of them who will be lucky and won big or hit those high multipliers.

There are also gamblers like you who are not lucky at their earlier tries but I believe you already experience to win later on, on that gambling site you are playing with. Before we play it's important to research the casinos background thoroughly so that we are sure that any unexpected winnings can be withdrawn safely.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 20, 2023, 08:03:52 PM
If Manchester City doesn't get consistent performances from Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland next season, Manchester City's performance will definitely deteriorate drastically. Because I think Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland's excellent performance is why this team has been able to play consistently well in the last season. Kevin De Bruyne helps stabilize Manchester City's midfield. And Haaland scored plenty of goals last season. Every player in Manchester City's squad has contributed to the title win. However, these two players have played an important role in stabilizing the overall performance of the team.
Why wouldn't they though? I mean we are talking about a team that is great and consistent, and two players that were probably the best players of that team that did treble. I believe they are still very good and they are young too as we all know, so they will play just as good this season as they did last season. They will have a magnificent year and will end up getting good results again. I know that it looks quite difficult to handle but it is not really that difficult when you think about it.

Yes, winning the treble is normally difficult, but when you are as big as City and have the players they have and the manager they have, it is not going to be really that hard to do it again. And if they fail at one, they may get the other two.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: July 20, 2023, 07:06:06 PM
I dont understand why people still expect to get something from bounties and airdrops (except retrodrops)? First of all, who has said that bull season is near. From the beginning of 2023, Bitcoin price has increased from $15k to $30k, as well as many altcoins gained a lot. During that period, we did not have increased amount of bounties on the forum. So why during bull season there will be any difference? There will be only increase of scam during upcoming bull season, that is for sure.
It's not about the quantity of the bounties and airdrops during or around the bull run, but it is about the quality and value they will provide during that time. A bounty that you are part of at this time might not give you results as good as a bounty that you will be a part of during the bull run, the reason for that is too obvious, the whole market goes up when there is a bull season, so all these tokens given in bounties will also gain significant value for their collectors.

So, there are people who are bounty hunters which means they have knowledge and information about which ones are the best and when they should join one, and how they should manage all the tasks and stuff, and these are the people who consider things like these where they wait patiently for the bull run to join some bounties to have more money through them.

This is just a mind game. We go to picnic, we spend money on entertainment, we spend money on movies & food and after enjoying we never regret that we have spent our money. I understand that most people think of Online gambling as a money making thing and not entertainment.

However, I see people going with friends to physical casinos in order to gamble and have fun but they came out sad if they have lost in gambling. Why is it so? Why the fun in gambling is associated with win in gambling? Why people do not think that they are spending money in gambling for fun and not for earning money only?
Mind games are like skill-based games but even if what we are playing is a luck-based game, we still need to have a healthy mind in order to easily go out of the gambling place. Some things in life are not free but it's possible to play gambling even if we don't have a money. This isn't for all though because some people will feel bored if there is no real money involved.

If you play for profit, this is where regrets can come once we lose even if we know to our selves that we do have fun in the process. It is still possible to socialize in a online casino because some has a chatbox, private message feature and a forum but maybe some still prefer the classic offline casino vibe.

After Bull session in 2021 meme coin hugely dumped. That's time was golden time for meme coin. Mainly doge and shib coin pumped then. Many investors changed their life through meme coin. Then who are invested on meme coin they are profited 10x-20x. A am also profited from doge coin. My investment was $1k and my profit was $1330. I think if future it will happen again.

Now meme coin price is very low. I think this is best time to invest on meme token. Because when bull market will come again then it’s price will go more up. And who are already invested on meme coin they need to hold. Dont sell now. In future meme coin will huge dump i believe it.
Not just meme coins but the great coins experience the same thing. It is because the bear market takes place after it. So let us see if the meme coins will also return once another bull market arrives. Meme coins are a risky kind of asset. I don't think there's a lot of people who make a good fortune out of them but I believe there are many of them who lost most of their money.
