...
I have an impeccable reputation, so that matters for something.  I only use Escrow, so I wouldn't be able to steal someones funds. You shouldn't be so rude.

I would expect people to be very cautious with whom they do business. My track record speaks for itself. If you think my offer is stupid, thats your opinion. But most of the respectable members of bitcointalk would disagree with you.

The problem is that you can easily recover the ico account ... so it's not suggested to sell or buy isk (in this way) Wink , nothing of personal.

Just my 2 cents.

I don't want to give up my ICO account. I am talking about a transfer after the GUI launches but with a locked in price with funds locked in escrow. Once everything launches then I would release the Lisk and the escrow would release the btc. This isnt about me selling my ICO account. Its about someone being able to lock in a price now before the GUI launch fomo begins.

Like I said.  Retarded.  People can do the SAME FUCKING THING once the coin get's released with escrow and not have to fear getting screwed over in advance 2 weeks from now.
\

With a really trusted Escrow it is possible cause he will never see the btc, but i think no1 will do that simply cause if the coins starts higher then the sell price they just keep the lisk. but at least no1 will be scammed.

Better to just avoid this things, and wait for market and i will put up a buywall at 15k just incase you wanna dump them cheap Tongue

Why sell for a bargain of 100k i expect at least 400+ for mine ever.

What dissapoint me is that your selling your clients expansive entry coins, and cause its not easy to use they wont use factoids.

I don't think you understand.  All Entry Credits are derived from burned Factoids.  It doesn't matter if the Factom store burns them when getting a CC order, or by burning Factoids yourself.

Think about this from a business perspective.  How would they add data into the system?

1) Buy Bitcoins
-this is a non-trivial step today.  Do they issue a PO order?  Can they use the department credit card?  Both sound like a no.  result: No Factom usage.  End of project prototyping.

2) Send BTC to exchange and buy Factoids
-Doable as a business, but it would be operating under the radar since corporate accounts are not really a thing.  Shapeshift might work too, if it is up at the time.

3) Use wallet to burn Factoids and buy Entry Credits.
-doable, but awkward, as the community knows.

4) Now the business software can use the Entry Credits
-Actual business logic can progress and applications can publish on the platform.

5) Convince legal department + accounting department that the IT department dealing in Bitcoin is not risky for the business.
-Most of the world is still scared of Bitcoin.

or:

1) Use company credit card to buy Entry Credits.
-Factom, inc. processes credit card, pays CC fees, bears chargeback risk.  Factom inc. buys Factoids off the market.  Factom inc. converts Factoids to ECs and assigns them to the business's address.  Factom, inc has a strong incentive to keep the system working.

2) Business software can use the Entry Credits to publish.

Which part about this are you upset about again?  This is changing it from impossible to possible for businesses to use Factom.

If you think that we are making too much profit, you are free to setup your own Credit Card merchant account and try to undercut.  Complaining about a business taking too much margin without considering overhead means that more research needs to be done.

What i mean is that the burn rate is actually way lower then the dollar price your asking so actually your negative your own investors or does that sound crazy?

Team Factom,

Despite a couple vocal individuals, please know that the VAST majority of us are very supportive of you and appreciate your hard work.  I know how hard what you're doing is and I am thankful for you.

Keep up the good work!

There really working hard indeed, cause they need to sell there entry coins agains a bad burn rate.

Stupid that its not mentioned a lot, that entry coins purchase and factoids are not 1/1 corrilated.

When will Lisk hit the exchanges?

As for now 11-04-2016 Smiley

Incorrect. April 4th they'll tally how many ICO participants have generated their passphrase and keys. If enough, then it hits exchanges April 11th, if not then the launch will be delayed.

I think 4th will never be possible cause the real chain need to be running in order to send the coins.

keep it up and bumped all the time

This disappoints me.  Increasing the noise in the channel decreases information transfer.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noisy-channel_coding_theorem

What dissapoint me is that your selling your clients expansive entry coins, and cause its not easy to use they wont use factoids.

So you can earn more and more and the factoid price gets abused! hey but happy your dissapointed aswell!

The burn rate should be way higher, but i get the feeling your all smooth talkers but dont really care about investors just earnings.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: March 29, 2016, 04:14:38 PM

This is mainly done with entry credits if i read this blockchain right, factoid entry's.
Using entry credits is the only way to add data into the system.

Quote
If the Entry credits cost $20 each 1000 entry's
This is the retail price.  the current network rate can be found in the explorer in the factoid block under the "ExchRate" field. this is the factoshi/entry credit rate, how many factoshis (10^-8 factoids) it takes to get 1 entry credit.

Quote
But the burn rate is extreamly lower then that atm, how is this possible?
Factoids are burned when ECs are purchased, not when those ECs are used.  The ECs were purchased earlier.

Quote
Are you using your Factoids to sell for entry coins against a diffrent rate ?
Yes, retail price is higher than wholesale price.

What i dont understand is if the retail price is much more expansive then the Factoid price atm,

2 factoids entry will burn
-0.00576000                   with a exchangerate ExchRate":48000

So if your all selling the Entry coins now and burning your factoids for that, doesnt that mean that your taking a profit on top of your
factoids and for every entry coins you sell you can buy more coins?

And your burn rate should be higher if you actually burn the true value of Entry coins used ?

11th April here we come Smiley 250k satosh

651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: March 29, 2016, 09:24:53 AM
Factom can you please for ones answer a question about the burn rate ?

There is an average of around 100 entry's a block atm (http://explorer.factom.org/?page=1)

This is mainly done with entry credits if i read this blockchain right, factoid entry's.

If the Entry credits cost $20 each 1000 entry's (https://www.factom.com/entry-credits/)
Then would mean every block has around the $2 burn rate or am i thinking wrong ?
What would be around 1 FCT each 10 minutes around this rate.

But the burn rate is extreamly lower then that atm, how is this possible?

Are you using your Factoids to sell for entry coins against a diffrent rate ? or did i made a wrong calculation?

Can you finaly answer for ones cause i asked this like 3 times already now.

652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LISK price speculation on: March 29, 2016, 08:33:37 AM
Yeah. A dumper IS a hardcore seller AND therefore has the Power TO CHANGE the price
They usually dump to buy back at cheaper price, especially the project is very young to make a call.

I think it will start at 5x ico price and might drop a little but with projects like this i doubt you see it go below ico price.

Cause i know many that already have some btc ready incase it does and whales know that so selling would even be for them a risk.

I bought around 10 btc in the ico and i have more then 20 ready incase it drops even below ico price Cheesy and the fact many will make it only go up from the start.

My guess
week 1 , 100k
week 4,  250k
a year 1000k

It all comes down to Milestone 2 data. 3 days till the end of Q1. Hope to get at least some news before the end of this month.

They already said that Q1 wasn't a deadline so they prob not making it in Q1, and that's when people gonna sell out
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: March 27, 2016, 09:04:08 PM
Actually when factom lost value today it is a red day simple, excuses like btc did good today doesn't cut it.

People are leaving Fct cause there so damn slow! Oke they have good talkers Paul snow mainly but come one
A working wallet is too much work, announcements about development we don't hear cause they doesn't wanna disappoint the people come on! I liked factom a lot and I made some nice bucks but I'm happy I sold at 470k and now I can only feel more good about it.

Good job factom team your losing your initial investors one by one!

Ow and thx for answering the question I asked here like four times ! Really costumer service orientated I'm surly never ever will support factom again
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: March 27, 2016, 06:09:37 PM
And yet another really red day for factom I will buy all your coins at sub 100k

It's not really a red day for Factom. Bitcoin is rising, so others are falling. Take a look at ETH or even DGB. A lot of overreaction because of the Bitcoin-awakening.

So from 475 to 375 isn't a big red day ? Seriously your full of it.

I am a newbie but I studied a lot cryptocurrency during last two months.

I bought lisks on day one.

I read whitepaper and I don't want to be a delegate but I think it it's important to vote.

My question is:

Why the privilege to vote is reserved to standby delegates?

why people voting are the same people that want to be a delegate?

Maybe I don't understand properly Dpos but every lisk owner should be able to vote without paying to register.

A total of 101 delegates will run the chain for this a node have to be up lets say 90+ plus and for this you get a reward called Forging
this is 5 coins every block you forget approx. 16 minutes.

Because everyone wanna be a miner delegates can be on standby untill you have enough votes to become a active delegate top 101.
People can vote on persons that they think have something to offer to the network.

Maybe a developer or maybe a community member they like and help them , it can be everything.

You can vote for yourself but also for others and this can make the network  more healthy and you can support what you like.

Recent BTER Allegations - Update

Please be assured the BTER cold wallet exchange will be handled accordingly. Today, we will release an official statement regarding the issue. Stay tuned! Smiley

I am very curious, especially what BTER has to say.

Happily I dont have a single satoshi on BTER.

Bter will kill this coin many out form this exchange
try the other exchange like bittrex for example or poloniex
thanks

I Feel sorry for everyone lose money on exchange failure, mtgox, crypty, bter

Im afraid that even if they get the Lisk there customers wont receive a single coin. Like the withdraw issue currently or the hacks etc.
I lost more than 0.65 in bter because of BTS and XMR
thanks
