1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread - Redemption extended[Updates&Discussion] on: December 16, 2014, 08:40:56 PM
1 NEMSTAKE for sale!!

I am looking to sell my NEMstake. Deal would happen with me giving my password and info and you changing it. I am a trusted member on these forums with many prior deals.

Please get in touch if you want a stake!

you don't need to sell your account.. Selling your token should suffice. @patmast3r would have to confirm that it hasn't been redeemed aswell.

It has been 'redeemed; in that it is in a password protected nem account, with public and private key.

if anyone is interested please message me.

1003  Economy / Digital goods / selling my NEM stake on: December 14, 2014, 12:25:54 PM
I think this belongs here..

I am looking to sell my NEM (New Economy Movement) stake.

NEM is a new, highly innovative coin in development that should be released this or next month. I can post some links if requested. 1 stake represents 1/4000th of total distribution.

Current market value of 1 stake is just over $700 USD.

I will sort out details with buyer.

I suppose we know his identity and real name, so theres a last resort of calling him and much if it turns out its a scam. I really dont think it is; just incompetence.

Have to ship a $17,000 bitcoin art piece and there is no way it leaves my hands without funding from someone who who has 0 reputation in this community and only 9 posts as of today.

Looks like the market for Bitcoin art is maturing significantly.

Perhaps it is time for me to create another website to track all significant pieces of bitcoin art and artists, especially useful in preventing counterfeits.

What do you think?
1008  Economy / Collectibles / Re: "Mazuma" 8 inch Physical Bitcoin on: December 02, 2014, 08:41:17 PM
This is really very, very cool!

big question is, should I include this in my guide of physical crypto coins? perhaps not as a 'normal' entry, but a special page for out-of-the-box things like this.

see it at www.coinfirm.org
1009  Economy / Collectibles / Re: buy casascius on: December 01, 2014, 08:33:13 AM
If you dont mind, I just want to but in here and mention my Casascius guide which categorizes all these coins, a must read for any collector. Its free at www.coinfirm.org and through my signature.
Enjoy!

Hopefully within 6 weeks
1011  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Vericoin Metal wallets and physical silver .999 coin wallets on: November 29, 2014, 06:26:50 AM

I have 100 coins which are loadable but not loaded. Each coin is numbered uniquely and holds a hologram sticker which can be removed to reveal the private keys.

This is the most obvious lie I've read all week!

Only 100 coins were made. I personally have orderd and paid for #94, and many others have recived them. You might as well tell us you have 22 million bitcoins.

Piece of scum thief.

On what basis do you make this accusation?

It's my pleasure, you are welcome to use the image. You could even mention that the coin is on sale with this topic details Wink

I have actually long thought about putting a section to the site for coin sales. People could make sell listings there in a centralized place, much more organized then on this forum. then I could direct the buyers to the sellers, and take a small cut. Do you think this would be successful?

I believe you are completely right with this idea.

You already made a good product that people use and everyone who's interested in coins have.
If your book would be downloadable with email opt-in box, you could have a worldwide Casascius fans email list.

I believe you mentioned that you will soon launch V.2 . So we all would need to renew..?

After you have the mailing list and time to work with it, you could help sellers and buyers.
At first with at sale email promotions, later with an actual website.

That's my advice;)

email list; thats an awesome idea. I need to look into this more! I hope to have V2 ready in January. Be very excited!

Maybe this is the one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=868523.0

Inspite of the post there, its not sold yet. Buyers should be careful that prominent Hero accounts may get caught and given negative trust.

For an example look here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=741302.0

0.8BTC is a big amount to pay to try to scam, most people that buy probably buy for the signature deals

How much could a Hero account earn in an hour via signatures, reasonably speaking? Assuming they write quality posts.

If i'm correcct, heros earn 0.15-0.20 btc a month.

for how many posts?

1020  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining advice for an eager learner on: November 25, 2014, 02:19:41 AM
A used SP10 for $1000 is not a good investment. Bitmain S3s are $200 each for 450GHs (plus shipping). And they're much quieter although you will need to get a PSU or two. SP10s sound like a jet engine and are not suitable for mining in a normal residence.

And how long will it be before your landlord starts complaining about your excessive electrical usage? Believe me, they monitor these things closely.

How much electricity costs on average (per day) would a, say 1.4THs miner generate? Im pretty much clueless in that regard. I do think it would go unnoticed however (I live in a student apartment with a couple roommates)

As per sound, yeah, I wouldn't want a jet engine, but noise in itself is ok.

Basically, I want to get into mining, But only if it will actually be worth it. $ wise (not taking into account possible drops in btc price)
