Never got any problem with BTC-central. Yes they are slow, but rarely (if never) late.

Try to withdraw bitcoin and let me know what happened.
362  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-central on: March 24, 2014, 09:00:20 PM
This one should be moved to Service Discussion.

Apart from that, I have no problems with bankers holding and maybe insuring bitcoin deposits for people who are unwilling or unable to manage their own security.

I would agree with you if they wouldn't mess it up. Would you accept to manage YOUR bitcoin only in that hour window? They must to change it. Until now I had zero problems with them, but this is not tolerable in my opinion. It's too big.
363  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitcoin-central on: March 24, 2014, 08:35:20 PM
Hello all,
I am (I should say was) a "lucky customer" of bitcoin-central. I have just discovered that if I want to withdraw bitcoin, I have to wait for 10pm - 11pm. Yes you read well, they only proceed between this hour. Furthermore, this happens only if your request happens within 5pm, otherwise your withdrawal will take place between 10pm - 11pm of the NEXT day.

I thought they were joking. They were not. They say it's because of security.

The last time I heard these kind of b.....okay, I try and behave. The last time I heard such answers, it happened from....guess who? Yessssssss MTGOX! So you understand me if ALL my alarms ring like the Titanic sirens.....

I LOVE bitcoin and cryptos because they can move value in time zero (more or less). And what do they do? They annihilate it!

LOL!

A little note: they are a branch of paymium, which is a payment institution of France.

Bankers..........

I am literally amazed.

Of course I am moving all my bitcoins and fiat well away from them.

Cheers.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next for Bitcoin? $100 or $1000 on: March 24, 2014, 01:54:21 PM
here's what will actually happen, straight from my old crystal ball which is never wrong: we will sit in the 400-600 region for a month or two, the pressure from buyers would continue to grow, until everybody understands that it is not going lower. at about that time, wall street funds would be ready to put some money in; once the reversal becomes confirmed, a new rally would start (somewhere in june-july), rocketing to a 4-7 k per coin region by autumn, before retracing back to ~2000. 1250 becomes the new bottom then, same as 265 is now and 31 was last spring.

confirmed

Banks, riposi in pace

Ufffffff...

369  Economy / Speculation / Re: URGENT NEWS - Warren Buffet declares Bitcoin as a BAD INVESTMENT on: March 04, 2014, 06:57:56 PM
Warren buffet declared bitcoin as useless and strongly believes bitcoin and Cryptos will die in 10 years. He also thinks bitcoin is a terrible investment.

This guy has been right ALL THE TIME and is smarter than the piglets and peasants on this forum

Also confirms my theory that bitcoin has run its course as an investment

Don't underestimate him, Big money will now stay away from bitcoin and I speculate that the price won't return 500% or more

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha and again hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaahahah

You should go in some comic show, buddy.

Funny.

372  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 25, 2014, 04:50:42 PM
The comments on CNN's front page story really shows how the public is rooting for bitcoin to fail.

Jeez, I can't believe people think this will actually kill Bitcoin. Have they not learned anything from the last 3 years.

+1000

It takes patience to see an important innovation such as bitcoin to go to mainstream. But it's happening. These are "just" pattern accident (of course I'm absolutely sad for who's losing money!!!!!!)

373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 21, 2014, 01:30:58 AM
It's clearly happening something unusual. I can't believe ppl is selling at this price.
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 21, 2014, 01:24:41 AM
How many coins had FBI?

Did they bumped them so to get the money AND spread FUD?
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why didn't MtGox halt trading like they've done in the past? on: February 20, 2014, 11:18:22 PM
What I find really strange and I am surprised nobody picked up on that. Why did the Gox price tank 2 hours prior to the announcement concerning the security issues. If this is not some insider trading I do not know what is.

You are right. And the most unbelievable thing is that mtgox is golden member of bitcoin foundation. They should shoot it out at light speed now because of the way they "managed" all this issue.

Bunch of incompetent clowns.

That said, nobody keeps out of my mind that this is a big manipulation to low the price down. Now the question is:

1 - to buy veeeeeeery cheap
2 - to destroy trust in cryptos

In both cases I guess bankers have something to do with all this  Grin
376  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 20, 2014, 10:36:42 PM
Will the price ever be $1k again on Stamp?

How long will that take? Wondering if it will be worth the wait. Why and when, or why not?

I think it will hit 1000 again sooner than most expect  Wink

377  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitstamp btc withdrawal problem on: February 18, 2014, 11:04:48 PM
Same here. And I can't withdraw money either!

Can you elaborate? How can you not withdraw money?

It seems that the email confirmation for withdrawal isn't working properly at the moment. Email does arrive, but clicking the confirmation link doesn't do anything.

A temporary solution is to disable email confirmations (for which you get a confirmation email that does work properly), make the withdrawal and then reenable email confirmations (for security reasons).

Sorry for The late answer but it has been a busy day.

The bitcoin withdrawal worked for me after I disabled the email confirmation (I have seen it works now so I'll enable it again)

The money withdrawal was not permitted to me due a larger than usual withdrawal request, so they asked me to answer some KYC questions. This morning (Berlin time)  I received an email that confirmed my withdrawal.

So now it's ok.

I have to say that operators have been patient with me (I got mad) but I also have to say that Bitstamp should increase their customer service. They have people's money and ppl can get nervous very easily. Especially in times like these.

But as I said above it's all right now and I am a happy Bitstamp customer again

379  Economy / Scam Accusations / Bitstamp on: February 17, 2014, 10:19:21 PM
Ok now they are keeping my money (they are not allowing me to withdraw even if I write down the KYC answers) and they are keeping my bitcoin also!

What the hell is going on?HuhHuh

We're just stuck, wait for it to snap. Like so:
