21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP]X-CASH | First CNv8 based coin with public & private transactions on: April 03, 2019, 12:10:42 AM
the airdrop is still on but this month the subscriptions are over
Airdrop will be turned off in the x-bank in a couple of days. It's nothing, isn't it?  Grin

Think most people have already gotten their airdrop by now. They will probably announce that the airdrop is finished soon and how many participated in the drop.

Quoting Paul from earlier today on the announcement section on discord:

"Distribution of March airdrop is done !
LinkedIn bounty will be distributed in upcoming days.

Thank you all for participating !"
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP]X-CASH | First CNv8 based coin with public & private transactions on: March 31, 2019, 03:26:10 PM
***Minimum amount: 68,587.11 XCASH
as you can see this is much lower than the previous minimum amount
Minimum payment: 167,131 XCASH
***
Two questions:
Are 1 billion coins still distributed in March 2019?
Is it right that the reduction of the minimum payment by ~2.5 times is due to the increase in the number of participants by ~2.5 times?

Yes 1B coins were distributed in March 2019
If you take a look at the market cap on the first week of Jan it was around 300K (the last time we had an airdrop). We have seen it as high as 1.3M from then. The awareness has really grown the past few months looking at youtube as well and members in the discord channel (their is a section called new joiners we started in early march to show how many are joining per day)

So I want to address some of the topics on this page

First yes we have had some bugs in the frontend and are still actively working on it. The X-BANK is a long term project. Right now its in the MVP stage, once we get the bugs fixed it will start transitioning to the X-payment stage, the exchange stage etc. The backend took more priority and we felt that it was better to release it with some minor frontend bugs than wait more weeks. The SMS is not counted in this since we would have had to do an alpha stage on it to see that the SMS was a problem in the first week.

This approach will depend heavily on the project.

For the proof of stake we will not be releasing it until we believe its 100% bug free at that point we will have an alpha and beta test for the public to get even more bugs out (as well as a bug bounty for these) since there really are no minor bugs when dealing with the blockchain.

Inside our team we have multiple smaller teams working on different projects / issues. The other big one being X-CASH proof of stake, but others such as IOS wallet, X-payments, and other research into cards listed on the roadmap.
http://x-network.io/roadmap/

We feel this is the better way to go, since we will deliver more tech wise than having the full team all working on one project. We can look at this like a job site. we have multiple groups building a restaurant (electricians, plumbers, painters etc) they are all working on what they do best, and are most efficient at.

As the team grows more projects will be worked on in parallel and what this does is creates a situation where everyone is working on what they do best, plus no one is blocked by someone else, because they will always have a project, section of a project, or some research to do, thus creating a "always work to be done" environment.

As a general rule of thumb it is always better to use a cold paper wallet with some trading / spending funds on a hot wallet (GUI or CLI)
this is the safest way to store crypto for any cryptocurrency. Online wallets / exchanges are more convenient / easier. It is up to the user to decide what storage plan they want to use for their crypto. Like someone pointed out on this page, The goal for X-BANK is for the airdrops, X-payments ,exchange part etc. We also provide off chain free transfers on the X-BANK from one account to another. Again its up to the user to find that storage plan that works for them the best.

As for the airdrop part
if you guys are on discord we announced today that
the airdrop has started
Minimum amount: 68,587.11 XCASH

as you can see this is much lower than the previous minimum amount
Minimum payment: 167,131 XCASH

(all of this data is from the announcements channel on our discord)

This makes sense since the market cap has gone up since the last airdrop and the awareness of the project has gone up as well. We still are having a team member go through the entire database for the few days before the airdrop to clean out fake accounts. We have a protocol in place since the first airdrop to detect this manually. Even with phone verification their were still many fake accounts. Obviously were not saying their all cleaned out, but we are still manually taking the time to clean out as many fake accounts as possible.

This was the whole point of the airdrop, to spread awareness, give the core supporters a chance to earn more while helping us spread awareness, and to give everyone a chance to get some X-CASH instead of like most coins you have to either buy some or mine some (both which cost money) to acquire the cryptocurrency. The logic is to create a more decentralized coin this way.

I hope everyone finds this helpful.

Stex should be back on now

I would like to know how things are with X-BANK. Something for a long time I did not see any news and announcements about this.

Were all focusing on this right now to get it out as soon as possible. It should be released very soon.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP]X-CASH | First CNv8 based coin with public & private transactions on: February 26, 2019, 03:57:04 PM
Hi Everyone,
If you had trouble creating a new wallet in the GUI for 1.5.0 please re-download it from github

There was a bug that was not allowing the seed to be printed for creating a new wallet.

It should work now.

The mac GUI will be uploaded shortly, but Windows and Linux have been uploaded.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP]X-CASH | First CNv8 based coin with public & private transactions on: February 20, 2019, 03:13:24 PM
Hi Everyone,
We have not provided the link to the X-Bank yet because we are still finishing it.

One of us will post on discord, twitter, bitcointalk etc the official link when we have launched it.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP]X-CASH | First CNv8 based coin with public & private transactions on: February 16, 2019, 02:32:59 AM
Its because of the fork, it might take a day or 2 for the difficulty to decrease to the correct difficulty.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP]X-CASH | First CNv8 based coin with public & private transactions on: February 15, 2019, 06:33:23 PM
Hi Everyone

We have just forked at block 281000 today

We did this as a surprise to ensure the unknown 85% of the HR would not 51% attack the network in advance.

The reason for the fork
To be anti ASIC, FPGA and nicehash
To prepare for the next fork in Q2 for our DPOS

The changes
new algo Cryptonight HeavyX (2mb scratchpad with double (1 << 21) Iterations)
2 minute block times in order to store DPOS data on the blocks

download x-cash 1.5.0
https://github.com/X-CASH-official/X-CASH/releases

because this is a custom algo, and we have not let the official mining software know you will have to use a fork of the miners
https://github.com/X-CASH-official/XCASH_ALL_Miner/releases (xmr stak fork)
https://github.com/X-CASH-official/XCASH_CPU_Miner/releases (xmr rig fork)

Thanks!

altilly posted in there official twitter that they will list for free all the coin that already listed in cryptopia, the project team only need to email them all the requirements if its qualified to listed in there exchange, Do you have plan to list there?

Thank you for this, I will let the Guilhem know

What privacy features does this coin have?  and does it have masternodes?
-snip

Whats up with XBANK? Hope it will be this weekend/next week. We waited so long. You have to live up to the hype and deliver. Cool

Since its February now, we already missed the window for January airdrop and consider it as non-airdrop month.

Right now they still have more days until Feb 21 airdrop registration.

On the other hand, The Dumpers dont have any coins to dump the price is getting expensive Cheesy

Were hoping to have it out soon, it is taking longer than we thought, plus we are working on POS in parallel.
We will still have the airdrop, for Jan, when we launch the XBANK

Any estimation when will XBANK be released or launched?  We can assume it will be before this month.

We hope in the next 2 weeks, but yes sometime this month.

Yes the whitepaper explains in detail, if you want a quick article type read you can read

details about are public / private tx system
https://medium.com/x-cash/x-cash-major-update-1-4-0-flexprivacy-cnv2-bulletproof-and-fixed-ring-size-106a20ce0b06
private tx are identical to other cryptonight coins (were using a ring size of 21 higher than most other cryptonight coins)
public tx example https://explorer.x-cash.org/Transaction?data=7ecd79d7ead6c2f23cb404409aca01f8c9e30d7b07bcd4e9332a1c4872d1dd93
(does not show full balance of sender, and still implements ringct)

x-cash proof of stake, not all the details are out yet since this system will be a mix of a few other systems, but will be unique in the implementation and settings we have changed to these systems.
We will have an article on the full details sometime towards the end of feb.
right now the whitepaper and AMA 2 is the best source of info. (1M is needed to participate in X-CASH proof of stake)
scroll down to the x-cash proof of stake part.

sort of figured it out . I went to my office wallet on the site X-CASH and there found my coins. But why are they there and they're not on the computer wallet ? It turns out that there is no wallet synchronization with the network ?

Okay, I am glad they showed up, not sure why though they would not show up on your home computer/network though. maybe try a remote node on the home one and see if it shows up.

I did some searching as I was remembering something and came up with this?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=765360.0

xcash was a scam coin a while back... trying to scam again?

Please explain, this seems like a good project but so did the other...

Also, this...
someone got rid of this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5029709.0

Also, whats up with the 40% premine? insane...

Hi, Thank you for raising your concerns about the project

For the first link we have nothing to do with that coin.
We are aware there is an ERC20 token as well by a similar name, which we have nothing to do with as well.

The XCA SCAM thread, I do remember seeing this on the first or second month after we launched. I believe someone made it because they did not get an airdrop, and then a few people posted they got their airdrop on that thread. I have no idea why it was removed. It looks to me like it was deleted by a moderator because their is an official scam list. I looked at it and xcashes is on there, again we dont have anything to do with that coin either.

As for the premine
It is a larger premine that some coins, but it makes sense if you look through the whitepaper and the website

20% for the airdrop. This is half of the premine, that were giving back to the community. The whole point of this is to spread the word, and to allow people to have a little X-CASH to use, before they buy kind of thing. This also helps decentralization, since someone who might have no mining computers and little money, can get a small amount of X-CASH for free.

5% for private investors. This is the small part for big investors, and the remaining unsold part will be airdropped to the community.

5% for the team. This is the 5% for us personally to have us all have an incentive to make the coin great. Our goal is to have everyone one who is part of the team to have a percentage of that 5%, this way every team member has an incentive. You can read more about the releasing of the coins on the 1st page, but basically they are released 20% of our stake every 10X of the market cap starting from 10M. Meaning we will all get 20% of our promised share when we hit 10M marketcap, meaning we have got 0 coins so far from the 5% team coins. This also means that it will be really tough for us to get the last percentages since we will have to reach a very high market cap to get to 100% of our promised coins.

10% team, this is for covering monthly expenses, and to allow us to build the infrastructure of our coin.

Our premine is very competitive and our locking of team funds to the marketcap instead of time (6 months etc) is also very unique.
We also are a non ICO coin, that has published who is behind the team since day one, to add transparency to the project.

This is indeed a very good answer. My personal opinion about X-cash is that it's probably the most interesting new coin on the stage now. Whitepaper is convincing and inspiring, the project seems to make sense in all its aspects, and even though it is a fork of another project (which isn't? just a very little list) it has a lot of unique features which are going to evolve further. Team is NOT anonymous and fully crediblke by all means. Roadmap is very solid and ambitious. In other words, green flags everywhere.

Just one advise: the community is waiting for a signature campaign to promote the project further, but if someone prepares some nice signature I'm ready to wear it even if there is no signature campaign. And so should be others who are passionate about this project.

Signature campaign is coming soon.

Thank you for your attention. I was mining on my wallet. And coins did not come. Not without ID and with ID. Never came.

Same here, I tried 2 different pools, was mining to my own wallet address and the payments never arrived. Is it possible that I'm on a wrong chain? Or I don't know what can be wrong. The daemon is fully synchronized...

Hi. Can anyone help me with the receipt of coins on my computer wallet. I've been mining on the pool for days but the coins didn't come to my wallet.
I put in a wallet with ID and without ID but the coins did not come though with the pool, the transaction is gone. Probably wrong ID inserted even though the purse is 100% correct,
I was sure ...I talked to the support pool they said that they sent all the coins and that they are hanging in the non-payment wallet or exchange.I don't know how else to get in touch with you.
Sorry for my English but I translate through Yandex translator as the language itself does not know. Help me please with my question Cry Cry Cry...Thanks

complement. I understand why not come to the coins and hang in nezakonchennyj. I put (dot) instead of ( + ) between wallet address and ID. Help me please with enrollment. Now everything is dripping on the right wallet but there are no previous coins. It's A Shame ) Thank You

I took a look at both of the information you two gave me.
The tx are in the explorer
the pool already had your history erased, and the other one had a username password set

It looks to me like the money was sent

do you guys use local daemons or remote?
If local I would try the remote in the GUI or for the CLI
xcash-wallet-cli --daemon-address USSEED1.X-CASH.ORG:18281

Also do you guys have 0 balances on the wallets or you have some balance but just not those amounts? that will help me see if its on your end or the pools end

if you dont have a 0 balance, and the remote node does not show the missing tx, the only thing you can do at that point is contact the pool and see if they can provide a tx_key for the tx_hash

I dont know if they support it or not, on our pool, minexcash.com we keep all of the tx_key to prove payments. We also have the option for public tx as well, so if they forked our github upload of the pool they may support it.

I would also suggest mining for a day on our pool, and see if payments show up in your wallet, so we can see if its a wallet problem or not.

Let me know on all of this
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP]X-CASH | First CNv8 based coin with public & private transactions on: January 14, 2019, 07:06:38 AM
lol looks like we both posted responses at the same time

Anyways I do want to mention about the tracker of the funds, since Guilhem brought it up.

We will be shortly adding a section to the explorer and website where one can look at each public XCA address and see the total balance by reserve proof and possibly view key. The system will also be live tracking, meaning if we ever move money lets say from one of the 10% company wallets, it will immediately show invalid proof for that one wallet on the explorer, until we upload a new reserve proof with the new correct amount.

We think this will be a great Idea for a little security as well as transparency to the community.
