Developers:
May I advise you to create some kind of fixed procedure for when new wallet updates are released and people need to update? Just to be prepared.
Also, some kind of notification system for this purpose. Either email-subscribtion or in-wallet notification.

I don't understand those ever lasting sell walls at CryptoRush.
I see two possible reasons:
1. Stupid (sorry) investors want to sell, but don't want so sell lower than profitable in relation to their invested BTC.
2. Someone who want's to keep Reddcoin at a low price in order to keep their own primary coin relatively stronger.

What do you think?
3. someone trying to pump reddcoin massively. The first step is to maintain the price low in order to build a large market share. just saying Oh, i didn't think about that. But they are very patient then. |

Why?
Because - I don't think miners would hesitate to sell at any given exchange rate close to the one existing when they mined the coins. The exchange rate is so stable that if the sell walls are made by miners, they really must believe the price will rise, which is kind of contradictory if they place the sell orders at low rates.
Investors would (or should) not set up sell walls. This is insanely ignorant. Short-term miners would probably just sell no matter what.
So the question is:
For such a long time, we've had big sell walls, but none of the sellers are willing to sell at current price, and therefore the price won't go to 1 satoshi. Why?
I think it could be someone trying to freeze the rate. If the sell walls are eaten up, they place new sell orders. And they would not sell at low rates, because then the price would just rise again shortly after.
What do you think?

DEVS: Please take care of the hash.so >50% problem once and for all. All these comments are making newcommers confused and unwilling to trust the coin.

Redd is a fail coin. Been out a month and yet newer coins have surpassed it.
Dump it while you can, imho
I guess you lost some money. Or maybe you are just destructive in order to earn money from your investment in other coins. Either way, your attitude needs some attention, so why don't you go to the reddcoin subreddit and tell them you're in a bad mood? I'm sure you'll get some free coins. Happy weekend. |

Hmm i update the wallet, put back old wallet.dat and it works but still comunicate that "0 hours behind".
hi, I have same problem! Best bet is to delete the entire folder in AppData and copy wallet over again. Make sure to backup wallet before deleting the appdata folder! And yes, our pool is updated and finding some very nice blocks  i did its sth with wallet, transaction are working Try closing and opening the wallet again. Have the same problem. If I close it and open it again, its gone for roughly a minute and than it tells me it is synchronizing with the network being 0 hours behind. Anyone has a solution for this Oh, actually - me too! Hm. Now, after 3-4 times close/open, it seems to be working! Fully synced. |

Might as well say that lack of dev feedback is really frustrating. We miners are the ones who actually make the coin valuable... no coins, no nothing.
Reddcoin is not suffering from lack of dev feedback. ...just check http://www.reddit.com/r/reddCoin/1700+ subscribers and a good chunk of them complaining about lack of development / feedback.... the community is actually taking over development. Price and hashrate have been stagnant for weeks now... just today it seems we are slightly going up. Most of them are complaining about "So, when is the API going to be ready?!?!?!?!?!". Most of them have not read the devs information about the development. Most of them are newcomers, so of course they don't know what's going on. The devs should not spend their time answering the same questions over and over again. ARgh! My Faucet / Coin Jokes server crashed its' onboard graphics card (laptop), so I've spent all day trying to recover the sites and the wallet (over 1000000 RDD) and move it to another server. I even tried heating up the laptop as suggested on the web, as the gfx card could solder itself back on the board. Finally, i think i made it. Go get your free coins once again. Im waiting for the BTC drop again then buy 3 hopefully to turn them in to Redd
It is already at 559 USD/BTC at btc-e.com. Remember that RDD probably is on its way up now, and that every increase in value is several percent. Those percent you gain in waiting for the btc price to drop might be lost in the increment in price of RDD. Investors, listen to this guy. If RDD goes up by just 1 satoshi, it's almost 10% increase. If you wait for BTC to drop, you should only do so, if you think BTC will drop more than 10% AND if you think RDD won't go up by more than 1 satoshi before you buy. In my opinion, waiting for cheaper BTC is the same as convincing yourself that you're going to do a stupid investment. That is stupid. |
