And so now all of you have mixed your funds with drug dealers and all sorts of other illegal activity.

There's a high probability that the $100 dollar bill in my wallet and maybe even some of the $20's have traces of cocaine on them (based on research that's been done).  So I'm fairly sure that my fiat funds are mixed in with all kinds of illegal activity, so how does that make BTC any different?

I'm interested...  Care to calm down and elaborate?
43  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "The Perfect Crime": What if Mark K is a (small-time) Criminal and a Huge Patsy? on: March 17, 2014, 07:05:01 AM
I'm not saying I endorse this speculation, but I hate that Occam's Razor claim which is used against many conspiracy theories, because it allows a free pass for the bad guys to get away with all their shit.

As if two or more people never got together and colluded a plan together for some future gain, whether for power, money or fame.

Sometimes the simple theory is wrong.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Buffet right or wrong? on: March 17, 2014, 06:57:08 AM
He is wrong. Just like he was wrong about Microsoft and Facebook.

Can you please explain why he is wrong

Because even though he is best friend with Bill Gates, he still don't understand Tech investment.

I know Facebook shares go up and down really wildly. But the actual money they make a year is huge.

Exactly.  He's said in the past he doesn't invest in anything he doesn't understand which is mostly tech stuff.  He sticks with the likes of Coca-cola or International Paper or insurance companies like Geico.  Now, all of a sudden, he understands enough about bitcoin to recommend to stay away from it?   Yeah right...  he should just STFU about it because he has no idea WTF he's talking about regarding BTC.  Something different comes along and the financial guru dinosaurs all have a hissy fit.
45  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: mcxnow storage on: March 13, 2014, 01:27:21 AM
Safe to store what your holding there?  They offer some form of interest, so what i'm holding might as well gain.  There site says "not responsible for hackers"
I know vircuex does the same thing.
With gox getting away with criminal shit, I don't trust any of this stuff anymore, like the majority of us.  Especially when they put the not responsible for hackers loophole, so wondering others experience.

DO NOT store your bitcoins or fiat with ANY bitcoin exchange!  Only use it to exchange and then GTFO.  With that being said, mcxnow is the most reliable exchange I have used since they reopened back in Sept 2013.  There is a reason why you don't see it mentioned very often in the "Services" forum, because there's just not many problems with them.

Math work done, is as true as bullion --to mathematicians and geeks like me and you.  But, metals power is not populated by math lovers, knowmsayin?  So I see both tribes as having to settle their war, in terms like this:  Math v. Metal, WW4 haha get it?  But Constitutions though they hold metals most high, are more concerned with TRUENESS than of the means of the trueness.  Does that make sense?  The spirit of the COTUS, is in many ways, more correctly fulfilled by cryptocoin, yes, BTC as primary blockchain.

Ok, so what your saying, and I hadn't really thought of it this way, is that BTC could have been released by a competing faction to the fiat status quo, as an alternative means for expressing "trueness" or power/wealth, that has traditionally always been metals?  We are seeing the beginnings of that battle now and if the math side wins, we are in for a wealth transfer for the ages, it would seem.

Tell me: Which mafia controls the USA better: Rome or Israel?

I, too, share your view that the world is controlled by psychopathic "gangs", under the cover of religion, so in light of this, what is your opinion of the origin of bitcoin?  Surely, it could not have been released into the wild independent of these gangsters.  Or could it?   Part of me wants to believe that Bitcoin is an attempt to free the "plebes" from debt-ridden fiat, created and released by a genius, altruistic programmer, but the other part of me fears a darker side to it's origin.

You belong to the 99.99% of pro-bitcoin supporters I described. The fact that you mentions that centralization wouldn't create more reliability, proves that your bloodline has a very low average IQ. If you refuse to acknowledge that centralization doesn't create more reliability, than it would be a good thing to sterilize you before you reproduce and filth the earth with your children.

These kinds of responses indicate that your parents made a huge mistake in allowing you to be born.  Your an idiot who relies on insults to back up your non-arguments.    I can't believe I keep wasting my time responding to your tripe.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's with this small rally? on: February 22, 2014, 11:25:43 PM
People got insane? Or is there something I'm not aware?

I see both Gox and Stamp rallying a bit.

It's what happens in a publicly traded market.  It goes up and down.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Glimpse into the Future. on: February 16, 2014, 05:55:47 AM
''In the year 2035, 1 Bitcoin will be worth approximately $1,000,000,000.''

Fucking idiot.

That would mean that a moron who purchased 10,000 bitcoins in 2009 & waits until 2035, would have a net worth of $10,000,000,000,000
... 10 TRILLION DOLLARS. That's 10,000 BILLION DOLLARS.

The entire European Union has a GDP of less than 10 trillion dollars, you fucking moron.
Let this sink in: the economy of the entire European Union. Millions of factories, offices, banks, hundreds of millions of people working every day. All of that, would be worth less than 10,000 fucking useless bitcoins which can be hacked by an amateur hacker. YOU FOOL.

That prediction alone is enough to never take you seriously again!

Don't you realize that the post you're replying to is just a mirror image in extremes of YOUR posts?  In other words, YOUR posts are just as extreme as the OP, but in the opposite direction.  Your vitriolic responses seem to indicate you're under the assumption that your opinion is the only valid one.  What? is there not enough room for more crackpots in the speculation thread other than yourself?

BTW, in your attack in the above quote, you compared the CURRENT European GDP to the speculated FUTURE bitcoin value.  This is logically inconsistent.  In the context you so eloquently stated, of course it seems ridiculous, but you need to compare speculated FUTURE European GDP (in 2035) to the speculated FUTURE value of BTC.  I would imagine that the European GDP in 2035 is going to significantly greater than 10 trillion dollars than it is now, making a billion dollar bitcoin value at the same time seem small.

LOL!!  Your hypocrisy would be funny if it wasn't so damn sad.  I stopped taking you seriously a LONG time ago.  FOOL.

Anyone who figures out a way to open a legit, US based btc exchange that doesn't require wire transfers or silly proof identity nonsense

It isnt possible. Maybe its possible in some country where the people actually value their freedom, but not here.

In America, people pay lip service to the concept of freedom, but when it comes time to vote, they are too busy watching reality TV and reading about celebrity scandals to be a functional electorate.

Like voting makes any difference!  Come on!
53  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin stolen from coinbase on: February 05, 2014, 03:03:48 PM
All, we should ask the question, why is coinbase (the supposedly safe and secure wallet) having this problems
I have used online banking for years (with very simple pw and NO 2FA auth) I have never had a cent missing.
How are banks/online services doing it that they have no phishing attacks ?
Coinbase prides itself as safe and secure. People please ask your self, are they really ?

Coinbase is NOT safe. They are NOT responsible. So far they have failed to address my issue. There is no phone nos to call, neither is anyone from coinbase calling customers to resolve problems. Why is that ?

Please stay away from coinbase and spread the word

You are clearly pushing an agenda... Multiple repetetive posts mainly saying the same thing, instead of trying to get the problem solved, you're larger message seems to be to "stay away from coinbase and spread the world" or "PLEASE pull your coins out and tell all your friends".  It indeed smells fishy.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will hit the $10,000 because the U.S. economy will collapse soon! on: February 03, 2014, 03:54:35 AM
Dude, forget $10k. $10 was unsustainable, this ponzi pyramid bubble will collapse any second now.

You lost me at ponzi...  Are you by chance a clueless gov't official?  If not, I feel even more sorry for you.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: FTSE tanking everywhere, lots of global markets getting hit on: February 02, 2014, 07:24:56 AM
You're a moron that doesn't even understand what a real free market is and yet again, the irony of it all is that you come onto a cryptocurrency forum which is designed to be a real free market to voice that opinion. Also what you're complaining about isn't called 'neo-liberalism' I don't know where you picked that up, it's called corporatism and has nothing to do with free markets, you're confusing a number of different ideologies with each other, probably a result of watching too much television.

You are Jewish and barely out of your teenage years (i.e. your brain has only just started to work but are burdened by the assumption that you possess wisdom beyond that of all other mortals)?

Am I right?

Do I win £10?

You win for exactly defining what an ad hominem attack is!   Congratulations!
56  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Random Question: Is there a btc exchange based in North Carolina? on: January 31, 2014, 11:20:38 PM
I can't think of one by my friend is asking me... She seems to think there is.

No, but there's one in South Carolina called https://bitsimple.com/

Not sure what you're saying, since your on my ignore list, but I bet it's something stupid.  Shocked

Actually, it is not stupid at all.

OK, I bit and un-ignored him for a second...and yes, it was stupid. That'll teach me.

It's okay, he's a paid internet shill.  He's just doing his job along with his buddy proudhon.  They're actually worth un-ignoring for their entertainment value alone.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin plummeting? on: January 29, 2014, 05:33:47 AM
Bitcoin went up last fall because, for a few months, it was an easy and legal way around China's exchange controls. Then the People's Bank of China cracked down on Bitcoin operators. Bitcoin then started to slide down.

Yeah and that explains April of 2013 and summer of 2011 too doesn't it?  STFU.  Anyways, the OP's question is stupid because that's what an asset does when it is publicly traded!   It rises and falls depending on supply and demand.
