everyone is scared to dump this.
so far the only coin i ever seen that miners didnt dump at all.
loving this really!
yea i think the incentive to hold a coin with high interest rate is quite strong compared to coins with low interest rate. This effect is way bigger than the effect of coins beeing added through PoS too bad it will die together with all other scrypt coins due to the coming of the scrypt ASICs... The first round of scrypt a docs aren't that impressive. On a cost ratio, they aren't THAT much cheaper than a video card. The savings is in power. One of the sites is selling a 300khash unit for $205. I got some GPUs on clearance at best buy that pull 330 khash for $118 each, normally $180. A 600khash gpu is $400+. The price is in the ballpark. It's the power that's killer. The asics are 5 watts. Thing is tho with so many scrypt coins, and the ADDITIONAL cost of buying asics, I don't think there's much to fear in the immediate future.

Me, personally, my own mining rig that I've been running for months before we ever dreampt up allcrypt.com - I'm mining LGD at 3.4m/hash and have been since launch (I like coins with low payouts, just a personal preference) and since launch I've gotten about 650 LGD. Solo mining. No pool.
If you're mining at 3+mhash and getting 20 coins, something's wrong.
Just my experience.
Maybe something is wrong. I've been mining in a pool since launch with 7MH and I've only got 500 coins so far, seems like I should have more if you've got 650 with only 3.4MH. Yeah. And with solo mining I get that randomness of maybe something maybe nothing. I get a block or I dont. And its about 650 since we were able to compile the wallet for the exchage (I mine to a windows wallet however, keep the coins separate. Makes the auditing easier). If you have 2x my hash, and have less coins than me, something's wrong.

I have another Feature Request On a couple other sites they have a button or drop-down option to list only coins you have a balance in. Could you do the same for your Balances tab? It really is nice to just see the few coins you have a balance in rather than having to wade through a hundred others. And if you want to get a leg up on the competition - add a 2nd option that lists the coins you have a balance in, PLUS the coins you have Buy orders on. That will make it easier to find and drill down to check on each market I've an interest in. I do like your layout. Some of the other sites, even the major ones, have miserable layouts that are a pain to navigate in, to the point it's hard to keep track of what coins you even have in their exchange. Right now we DO have the option to selectively hide pairings or certain coins - and they are hidden globally, but it's not a dynamic balance based system. Which is a great idea. (Check out the Market Preferences tab, on the drop down under Markets. Also, if you click the 'favorite market' checkbox on a market page, or in the preferences tab, it's added to the dropdown.) I had the thought to have an option to hide low volume/zero traffic coins, but I dont want to hide a coin you MIGHT want to see - out of sight out of mind. "No, AllCrypt doesnt have CORG - not on the list" - when it actually is, you just hid it. But yeah, hiding all the coins you have a zero balance in makes perfect sense. Adding in coins you have buy orders in too is pretty cool. We've had some hardware hiccups the last few days, and getting ready for the Crypto Convention has kept us busy. But those are both stellar ideas and I'll get them in ASAP.

Well, I've got other work to do. I've wasted nearly an hour tonight when I have cold storage wallets to work on. I'll check back in a day or two once you have it working.
But the wallet, as it stands, on the git, does NOT compile on linux. At least the absurdly common-used-everywhere version we are using. And we've compiled about 80. The rest work.
PM me when you get it fixed. Would have loved to have LGD on AllCrypt.com at launch but we cant spend more time on it right now.
