Can you sign another message, including today's date? You may also want to delete all posts that you didn't make, to prevent being blamed for plagiarism later on.

They said that maybe there will be such feature when the new forum software is ready. Sadly it is not possible to select a recovery point in time to get back to normal prior the hack... So I 'll be wasting my time deleting unwanted posts manually. They also stated that is not possible merging two accounts. So I'm gonna live with both of them linked to the same address I guess.

UPDATE: Response received from Bitcointalk account recovery team on 10th January asking for a new signed message + accessing a bitcointalk link which seems to be invalid. I already replied to them with the info requested. Waiting.

According to the new streamlined process announced by Theymos, I sent an email to the address described here with the required data. Will wait for replies and update here accordingly.

Wow, a lot of accounts got hacked! You can add me to that list too. My original account (axel2078) got hacked in October of this year. (...) What really bothers me is that they are STILL posting as me, while enjoying my Full Member status and pumping their signature campaign.
Welcome to the club. Your account was hacked because of your rank which means it is profitable on a second market were accounts are traded and even auctioned by the hackers itself. Spammers, Scammers and Cheaters buys them for farming purposes then they resell it again over and over. You'll be surprised how lucrative + easy money this is on 3rd world countries (just search on telegram "account selling bitcointalk"). Admins know about it but they don't care, many viable proposals and solutions have been discussed already on the forums however no one is willing to work / act uppon it.

Sorry my bad, I don't understand how could I made that mistake. However I already fixed that, the user KWH already left red trust on s1ng also it is inactive since June 16, 2018. Keep this thread alive by posting updates regularly and let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Can you show me that post again that I made regarding they help active legendary members only? Well, afaik the only known official method of recovering hacked accounts is by PM to Cyrus and Theymos until they manually check their logs and contact you with a reply. You're saying that Lauda, Vod and many others helped you recovering your compromised Legendary account even suggesting to the other legend victim to PM them also (instead of giving this same advice to any other of the plenty lower rank users that has also been hacked). I cannot quote that post because the topic is locked. However here I copy & paste it: I still think a legend account should be renewed quickly if the signed message proves it is theirs. PM lauda and see. Can't hurt. Yet you didn't answer about how did they manage to help you recover it. Sorry if I missed your post about this subject, I'm sure a lot of us would be interested hearing your successful story. More even if you discovered an alternative method that would help solve many other open cases. The last known reported recovery happened on July 15, 2018 to the Full Member Swenna. How about you? When did you mange to get it back?

I eventually got mine back via lauda, vod, and a few others helped me.
I'm wondering how did they manage to help you and when that happened?. I was a Full Member since 2012 used to be active back in the days, btw I read one of your posts mentioning that they help active Legendary members only? is that true? mind to explain why?

Time flees.. no updates so far, very disappointed about staff management and their false promises. I see you was lucky enough to lock your account within the 15 days window.. many others (including myself) were hijacked, used their profiles for spam / deceiving others, sold the accounts multiple times and even ignored all recovery & ban attempts from their legitimate owners. Recovery of hacked accounts should be #1 priority, it is not rocket science and even a single volunteer could revert most of the damage that hackers has been making consistently over the years because of a second market that allows account buying/selling. Admins are well aware of this but they don't care nor enforce the rules or security measures.

Welcome to the club, I have also been around since 2012 and was hacked 3 months ago.. I tried contact them by all my means. Conclusion is that they don't care unless you're a well known VIP. I even tried to reach @Cobra on twitter but he ignores me just like the other admins. Keep this topic alive and send PM with your signed message every 15 days to @Cyrus and @Theymos, nothing else we can do unfortunately...

I have also PM'ed @hillariousandco as well as @hilariousetc with the proper signed message asking for ban my hacked account but didn't hear anything back. The spammer who bought my hacked account has been posting crap consistently for months, no one took action to stop this after all my attempts. It is not cool at all.. Please let me hear your suggestions / ideas. A lot of folks are suffering the same misery fate.
