481  Economy / Economics / Re: The problem bitcoin solves on: April 02, 2019, 04:02:21 PM
While Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can help people living in struggling economies, for now, cryptos with their volatility are still not so useful as speaking of business. Imagine, that you are an owner of eg. shipyard (or any other business where you are basing your business activities on long term contracts, which usually are not amendable). You sign contracts for building ships for like 2-3 years in advance. And even regular fiat currency exchange rates can bring the company to the edge of bankruptcy. Until we get over the volatility, we cannot say the problem is fully solved.
But still, a partial solution is much better than having no alternative at all.
482  Local / Tablica ogłoszeń / Re: Oferty specjalne kantoru kryptowalut Linkkoin na dzień 11.03.2019 on: April 02, 2019, 03:53:43 PM
(SPIS POWSZECHNY 2019) on: March 26, 2019, 11:49:11 AM
Jesteśmy i my, Linkkoin - kantor kryptowalut z siedzibą w UK, działający od 2017, można u nas kupić (z Polski) krypto przy pomocy kart VISA. Jak widać w poście - są tu Polacy w pracy i polski support.
484  Local / Polski / Re: Bezpieczeństwo na giełdzie i rady dotyczące obsługi klienta. on: March 25, 2019, 07:00:09 PM

No i jeszcze bardzo ważne z punktu widzenia was - jako użytkowników. Weryfikacja karty. Jeżeli ktoś żąda pełnego numeru oraz kodu CVV, to powinna się zapalić czerwona lampka. Żaden kantor legalnie pracujący z kartami płatniczymi nie widzi nawet całego numeru karty w spisie transakcji. My sami w systemie w logu widzimy to w formie 1234 56XX XXXX 7890.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bullish trend has commence! on: March 21, 2019, 12:34:26 PM
All traders and those who hold crypto coins from long ago at least now can breathe with relief, because the crypto market has gotten green, we expect this situation to be even better next month, that's our hope
I don't expect a number of green months in a row, the market always corrects itself downwards when it reaches 4200 and upwards when we're at 3400. Unless something dramatic happens that increases adoption, we will continue trading sideways.
Yet if we compare the current trend with past ones, we can estimate that the current situation should end in next couple of months.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin be limited to 21 million? on: March 21, 2019, 12:22:47 PM
Practically limit is much lower because many of the early Bitcoins are lost for good, as lost with the memory sticks and hard discs.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ‘Bitcoin Is Not Money’ Because We Cannot Print It – Banks on: March 20, 2019, 05:11:13 PM
Money is whatever people decides holds value.  Doesn't matter what it is, seashells, gold, beanie babies, paper.  Currency is just a faith based system.  Fiat is a complete scam but most people are too stupid to realize or lack any real fight to go against the banks.

Faith and reputation it is. And such events as Bretton Woods 1944 meeting.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can you reverse or cancel a bitcoin transaction? on: March 20, 2019, 05:08:10 PM
Personally, I do not believe that bitcoin transaction can be cancelled after it's sent.
My assumption is that ...miners start the mining of bitcoin immediately it's the sent button is clicked.
There's no way of knowing which miner so as to signify to the person to cancel the transaction or reverse it.
It's just too complicated.

I was thinking of what is the one drawback which bitcoin has ?  The only drawback is that if you sent the amount to wrong address or wrong amount to the right address even, the process cannot be reversed and therefore one should be extra careful when sending bitcoins to any address.

This is why unfortunately some binary options moved to cryptocurrencies, damaging the reputation of the whole crypto community.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoiners now labelled as Right-wing extremists! LoL on: March 20, 2019, 05:05:18 PM
Technically, cryptocurrencies were invented to become an independent and private mean of payment not controlled by the government, and relying upon the trust of two parties.
Truly a libertarian idea to be honest.
But libertarianism itself has not much in common with right-wing extremism. Maybe just some meme pool on the internet and dislike for socialism.
490  Local / Tablica ogłoszeń / Re: Oferty specjalne kantoru kryptowalut Linkkoin na dzień 11.03.2019 on: March 20, 2019, 04:46:27 PM

492  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buy BTC with Credit Card - NO VERIFICATION? on: March 06, 2019, 04:50:48 PM
Will tell you how it looks like - at least on linkkoin, where we do accept credit/debit cards.
If you buy cryptocurrencies with a card, the payment services are provided by a third party company which deals directly with Visa/Mastercard. We as an exchange cannot see all the details of the card used for the transaction, and therefore card verification is based only using the data we have access to (this is why we ask you to cover your CVV code and part of the card number for the purpose of verification).
As well we accept only cards with 3d secure protection system (usually you confirm the transaction by typing it the code which was texted to you), so then the card cannot be used by anyone else.
Therefore there is no need to be worried about your card being used elsewhere.

At least if you decide to use our services.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin matured as a currency? on: February 18, 2019, 03:33:27 PM
Recent forks of its blockchain addressed many of drawbacks BTC had, including high blockchain fees and slow transactions. But can we say that it matured as a currency? Not yet. The volatility is not gone anywhere so far.
As well its reputation as a "digital gold" is a double-edged sword. Bitcoin is still regarded in general as a form of investment, not payment.
What could help BTC in maturing as a currency? For sure trading volume to rise significantly, global-scale regulatory framework (like SWIFT standards for international transfers of money by banking institutions).
494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think this BEAR MARKET will LAST? on: February 04, 2019, 12:03:59 PM
It is very likely that we will see the recovery in q4. The blockchain is already a big thing, and the bear market gives us a chance to see the major technical improvements, as in such times quality, not quantity prevails.
495  Economy / Economics / Re: Is government the most influential factor that affects Bitcoin price? on: January 31, 2019, 04:37:33 PM
Governments are the ones which create the binding law on their territory. If a big country, where cryptocurrencies had been popular is outlawing them, it could be a huge hit for the cryptocurrency market.
But big entities have as well very big impact. Advertising cryptocurrency products on google/facebook is impossible in most of the countries, what was another factor making the bear market longer and worse.
496  Economy / Economics / Re: the future of crypto is good or bad on: January 31, 2019, 04:18:32 PM
For cryptocurrency the future is bright. Especially because cryptocurrencies brought blockchain The blockchain solutions are one of the best inventions since the internet itself. Applicable in almost all aspects of your life.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: R u consider rich holding crypto during hyper inflation on: January 31, 2019, 04:08:04 PM
Cryptocurrencies during hyperinflation are a replacement for the national currency, which becomes totally worthless. And this can be good proof, that currencies can be replaced by Bitcoin or other cryptos.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: January 31, 2019, 03:55:19 PM
Patience is one of the crucial elements. And of course, if you consider cryptocurrencies as a form of investment, not a payment method one crucial rule is: buy low, sell high. And if you see the hype about Bitcoin like in December 2017, it is the moment to cash out the profits. And it works the other way round as well.

So then, how much cryptos do you buy in such a bear market?  Wink
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vacation and Bitcoin on: January 31, 2019, 02:46:03 PM
Cryptocurrencies are a perfect solution for people who are travelling. Why keep using currency exchanges all the time (or use the card and pay high exchange fees), if you can have one common in the whole world?

This is by the way how the coin currency had been used when coins were made out of precious metals. You could pay with a golden coin from England in Italy because gold had some universally acceptable value.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Perfect example of why governments must hold Bitcoin on: January 30, 2019, 05:32:15 PM

If Maduro was holding Bitcoin instead of gold, specially gold outside of your borders, he wouldn't have had that little problem. Of course Maduro is probably too computer illiterate to get the thing done.

Only if the wallets will remain anonymous. But as you can track and freeze it, as proven recently after cryptopia hack - the effect could be similar.
