I'm getting rejected shares because worker is temporarily banned...what's up with that?

How's payout looking for everyone today?
Yesterday was good (not fantastic) but good, considering how btc is going Sad
for today you need to wait at least 12 more hours, and even then, if the stats are working alright, otherwise you will have to wait until you receive the payment.

I forgot to write down my balance the last couple days, so I have no idea what I got paid.  The payouts have been ok lately.

We need some better record keeping...

How long does it take to get a payout at hashco?  I've mined for 36 hours and not seen a coin yet to be paid to me.  I emailed support and 12 hours later I have received no response.  I'm going back to multipool.  No coin, no support! So disappointed!

Payout is daily, roughly 11pm EST.  Last night's payout was pushed until today.  Looks to me like it should be soon.  Even if it gets pushed to tomorrow, it's not a big deal.  The payout will come...

I am no longer getting such high reject rates.  It's now 3.2-3.8%.  I wish it was 2 or less, but it's still an improvement.  For constant failovers try kalroth's cgminer 3.7.2.  Worked wonders for me.  My hashrate for 3 r9 290x's varies between 830 to 870 depending on the card.  Some get sick after running that fast for too long.  I keep my intensity at 18.  I also have a 280x that runs at just over 600.

Sorry a little off topic, but you should be getting a much higher hashrate than that! I have 6 Sapphire R9 290 (non-x) and get between 910-945/ea using kalroth's cgminer... I run them 24/7, don't really have much problems with them at all. Occasionally one gets sick, but CGWatcher just restarts it when that happens! Only when pushing 1050+ engine (I've run some at 1070 engine for many hours), 1500 memclock. 2 out of my 6 cards I can't push past 1025/1500 or they get sick within 5-10 minutes, but the rest run pretty well at 1050/1500 all day. Even at 1025/1500 those 2 still do 920+Kh/s
Hello humans.
Please, Shocked your *.conf for Sapphire R9 290 may be *.bat or other bios...  Roll Eyes
Thanks.

Guys, I'm new here, so I may be wrong, but you sure it's the right thread? I mean how is it related to hashcows?
Looks like I inadvertently started this off topic discussion when asked about high reject rate, so I'm a bit nervous.

This conversation relates to the reject rate that seemed to be specific to hashcows, which led to hashrate, which directly correlates to reject rate.  Your post about our posts being off topic is off topic.  How dare you.

I can go higher, however, I'm fairly sure 920+ is out of the question.  I can get over 900, but frankly, I see no need.  I don't use cgwatcher and at my speeds, the miner requires virtually no maintenance.

Joined Hashcows yesterday, gave it a try and it sure doesn't look good. What kind of profits should you expect with 700 kh/s? I'm getting like 2 dollars a day. I guess "Note: Estimated Unexchanged and Confirmed Exchanged numbers have been re-added." has something to do with this but.. 2 dollars?

Poster before said it was exceptionally low day, so in addition of everything I guess I just joined bad time too huh?

The bad payout actually turned out decently.  Tonight payout looks to be okay too.

Over 5% reject rate...anyone else?

Could anyone with high reject rate post his(her) hashrate and difficulty?

As stated several times, each coin as a different reject rate and it's normal.

I've read 20-30 pages of this thread and didn't see that mentioned once...

Maybe put that somewhere on the website or at least in a place a little more conspicuous.  162 pages in this thread is not likely to be read in its entirety.

Furthermore, I mine this pool and another, and I get roughly 1% rejected at the other pool, which mines several of the same coins.  I get over 5% here.  Is this difference due strictly to MEOW?

around 4% in last 20hrs or so. and it seems it's going to be a low payout day today

Yep, payout looks bad here too.

Well, after 1 day mining, got ~ 0.025 BTC
Gonna point to middlecoin and test for 1 day to see if i can get any improvement

Gotta a lot of rejects tho...

I just finished mining for a week.  Had a few nights where coin switching borked my miner leading to a false sick gpu.  Either way, I mined most of the week and I should end up with roughly .2442 btc.  That's for 3 mhs.  That also includes 3-5% rejected for the week.

I'm now mining another pool.  So far, payout seems lower, but much lower rejected (1.2%-1.6%).  The payout scheme is different, so it will probably take a week before I can see what this pool will make.

I really like hashcows.  I hope they develop a little more and I will be back...sooner if I make less at this new pool.

Anyone having issues with slow hashrate sporadically (around 1/2 of normal) and the pool disconnecting, yet internet access is available and working?  Last night especially the average hashrate was 1M lower than it should be and I could see on the cgminer screen lots of waiting for work , pool not responding etc

Trying to determine if its an issue with my setup or ISP...

No disconnects, other than failovers during coin switching every so often.  Hash rate has been correct.

Additionally, my payouts are beating LTC mining, but only slightly.  I don't think I'm getting .01/mh/day, but it's close(eyeball math only).  It would be easier to follow (since I don't keep records or anything) if the website had better reporting.  Hopefully this remains profitable for a long time =)

To mitigate te disconnects on coin-switches you can definitely do at least these two things (besides the already mentioned --failover-only):

1. use sgminer: https://github.com/veox/sgminer or Martin "Kalroth" Danielsen's personal cgminer 3.7.2 build, you can find it here: http://k-dev.net/cgminer/. They include patches for resilience against pool disconnect with frequent coin switching as well as several other improvements (see http://k-dev.net/cgminer/kalroth-changes.txt)

After spending 2 days on hashcows and getting tons of disconnects (without a failover setup) it left me with a miner idle mostly overnight.  I realized it was from coin switching, then read about failover.  I just came here to read about why it seems like I mine all day with no visible progress (problem understood), and wanted to point out that this advice has not only stopped my miner from disconnecting, it actually got me about 100 more khs (with light tweaking).  Kalroth's version of cgminer is fantastic to put it mildly.  I haven't even begun to tweak it seriously yet.

The disconnects would also cause sick gpus which caused some freaking out.  After a few hours of reading and configuring (and emailing kolrath, his read me references .bat files, not .conf files) not only have I not entirely disconnected all day (failover happens occasionaly), but the failover switch delay is configurable (dafaulted to 60 secs) - I set mine at 30 and it works flawlessly.

This is great advice.  I've spent a few weeks learning how to use cgminer, and I could probably spend another few weeks and still not fully understand all the settings, or find my max hash rate.
