421  Economy / Gambling / Re: US players, where are you playing now? on: October 26, 2022, 08:39:24 PM
A lot of the posts seem outdated on this one, just curious but where are all my US players playing?
There are quite a large number of casinos that are accepting players from the US, i will mention a few of them, maybe you can check them out and verify for yourself, By the way, i am not a citizen of US .

1. Lucky Tiger casino  - This one is listed on this forum and have an ongoing signature campaign.
2. Rich Palms casino
3. Casino Extreme
4. Slot.tv
5. Slotastic
6. Bovada
7. Comic Play casino
8. Jackpot Capital
9. Cherry Jackpot
10. Gossip Slot

For a full list, you can check out this website https://wizardofodds.com/online-casinos/best-for-players-from-usa

scroll down on the site and you will also find list of casinos that are regulated in the US.

Bovada is fiat accepting crypto but it isn't regulated in the US although they take players from the US. Same with the rest of them on the list. They accept crypto but not regulated by US. Some of those are crypto only.  Some books that are regulated in the US are Draftkings, Fanduel, Pointsbet, MGM, Betrivers, Caesars and some others. They are fiat only. Out of the crypto sportsbooks, the only two that will never confiscate your money from playing in the US are Betcoin and Nitrobetting.
422  Economy / Gambling / Re: US players, where are you playing now? on: October 26, 2022, 05:54:59 AM
The only two are Nitrobetting and Betcoin that I know of for US players. They are both safe.

A lot of the posts seem outdated on this one, just curious but where are all my US players playing?
The answer is simple, US players still play in regular casinos that are allowed to operate within the jurisdiction, even though they must pass through KYC.

Players from the US no longer care much about KYC so they are prepared to hand out the ID for verification since that is the only legally allowed means to access those sites.

If you are from US and they do a KYC check, your money will be confiscated from all casinos stating they don't accept US. Using a VPN can cause problems at many casinos since they think you have multiple accounts or are playing at a restricted country.

If they have a license, almost all have the same license in Curacao. A problem occurs when they try to steal your money and can go as far as asking for a video selfie. Play at casinos that are the least intrusive.

Some of the platform like Roobet and freebitco and 1xbit is another one of the best platform thay you can bet with but some people is against 1xbit calling them a scam company that scam people, but since i have being betting with them i have not people complained of the platform instead they are one of the most platform people patronize, even coin777 is one of the casino platform but it seems that coin77 is not functioning again

Stay away from 1xbit. They are owned by 1x Corp NV. They lost their UK license in 2019. In 2022 they were claimed to be bankrupt and no longer hold their Curacao license. 1x Corp has all kinds of legal problems.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: October 23, 2022, 05:55:26 PM
Is KYC verification very important to crypto gambling websites or this has something to do with their regulations rule? Where can one gamble with zero verification requirements?

You can't find a reputable KYC free casino nowadays. There are some new casinos that offers "no kyc requirement" as part of their promotion but you should be wary of those and double check it on their ToS  if they will not really ask for it. However if you are able to find one, you should be suspicious since there is a high chance that they will scam you. KYC policy is a norm now on gambling websites since they are becoming more regulated and I understand why they need to implement it since there are criminals that can use their platform for illegal activities.
Fortunately, there are still some gambling platforms that are reputable and known on the forum that doesn't require KYC to their users unless they have to. I've seen and have been using some gambling platform for a long time that doesn't requires me to do KYC. However, if you will try to look on their platform's ToS, you'll see that they do in fact KYC to some users if they only detected that user is violating their terms and services.

As for new gambling platform, I suggest to avoid those especially those that are suspicious and offers crazy bonuses.

That's a great point. If a new book is giving away a huge bonus, stay away. It can't be emphasized enough that some books will go under after the World Cup.
427  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unpopular opinion about crypto gambling on: October 23, 2022, 02:30:50 AM
Why ? Just why ?

We need to change some misconceptions. There are many of us who don't like Totally Crypto Casino sites and we don't like their rules. But those of us involved with these cryptocaseinosides have never been cheated by caseinsites.Never seen them cheat. I heard in a news the other day that a Nigerian man won $51,000 dollars a few days ago.But this person took his money well and they were not defrauded. So really we have to avoid all the misconceptions that we are immersed in.We should always think positively.

I'd have to disagree with that. 2 or 3 bitcoinbooks have gone under in the last 3 months. After the World Cup ends, a lot more will go under. Here's a list of books that have closed or stiffed players. Some of the closed books did pay all players.

Maverick Games  - Isle of Man, mandatory KYC

Nitrobetting - Cost Rica - No KYC unless using a VPN

Some others in Costa Rica, not all trustworthy

Over 10,000 fiat and bitcoin casinos are in Curacao. Not all are trustworthy. None of them completely follow the rules but they follow some of the rules to differing degrees. Most of the time KYC is asked as a way of not paying.

429  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unpopular opinion about crypto gambling on: October 23, 2022, 01:25:29 AM
I bet OP can't give one reputable casino that does not ask for KYC, reputation, and compliance go together, a casino cannot be reputable without compliance, I don't think people will patronize an establishment online or offline with being regulated or licensed especially if big money is involved, it is illegal to run a project online which ask people to deposit so if OP is naive not to play in a casino that asks for KYC it's his own choice and his choice is not only risky but very limited.

Nitrobetting

Hey here. I want to try myself in casino playing, but I am really afraid of being scammed. Few years ago I lost a huge amount of money that I saved for a long time..
There are many reputable casinos on this forum, stake.com is one of them, stake has a very long history in the Industry and I think they have achieved quite a great reputation for themselves, so you can trust this one.
To me personally, Stake.com is to crypto gambling what Binance is to crypto exchange.

There are a host of other trusted casinos by the way, the likes of -
Roobet
Duelbits
Winz
Livecasino
Rollbit
Owl.games
Etc, this are casinos I personally trust after stake, so the choice is yours to make.

That's a good list above. Below is more tailored to sportsbooks but here are some of the most trusted.

432  Economy / Gambling / Re: Information of Crypto Casinos License and KYC requirements on: October 15, 2022, 11:09:40 PM
I'm curious if 1Xbit or similar scam sites have a license from somewhere.
I don't see 1xBit on the list and I guess it's because it's a known scam site, but I wouldn't rule out that certain scam sites are able to get a license from somewhere to keep up appearances. Or it is common to scam sites not to have a licence?
I couldn't find out the license information of 1Xbit on their website. But the casino review making site says that 1xbet and 1xbit casinos are operated by the same company. 1xbet claims that they are operated by 1XCorp N.V. company, but it isn't valid anymore. Because, 1XCorp N.V. was declared bankruptcy by Curacao operator on May 2022. You will see this information on Curaçao Commercial Register page of 1XCorp N.V. company. Currently 1xbet is operated under ACOM Latin America N.V. This company is registered under Curaçao eGaming.

Therefore, a scam casino may have gambling license. A license can't stop them to scam people. Only the awareness can save gamblers from the trap of these scam casinos.

Almost every casino here has a gaming license in Curacao or data processing license in Costa Rica. These licenses don't mean anything since anyone here without a criminal record can get a license in Curacao for under $20k USD within 6 weeks and less in Costa Rica.

The only reason the casinos ask for KYC is a way of not paying. In Curacao all the casinos work under a sub-license under one of the four master licenses. In the UK and US, licensing is strict. It's not that way for bitcoin casinos. There are also tax advantages. Once again it depends on the country but in some the corp. pays zero taxes for money generated outside of the country but the can't accept wagers within the country.

Wow, I would have liked to know much more about international laws, because I have many doubts about licenses, I thought that a casino with licenses, apart from making it more authentic, presented more security to customers, so wherever the licenses are from, they should allow protection to users, it makes no sense then about licenses if there is no protection, really these things are very different, I know that international law has a lot to do with these issues, but I want to determine if at some point they can decide To give some advantages that are for customers, there should be at least one protection clause.

It's the same as setting up any offshore company. You need a nominee, business incorporated, bank account, a resident in the country or expat and some need a virtual office. The laws are different in each country but similar. Once again it depends on the country but some are tax havens. Money generated outside of the country isn't taxed. Wagering is banned for residents in the country. The only good thing about a license is to ensure a fair game. Otherwise, it's a money grab.

1xbit had a license in Curacao. This shows that a license doesn't mean a thing. Now that the parent company claimed bankruptcy, they don't have a license.
435  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 15, 2022, 01:16:45 AM
Hey guys.
Choosing crypto in casinos has always also to do with more anonimous gambling.
Anyway I'm curious how important is anonimity to you when you pay & play?

Not that important since I already filled out many KYC forms and fortunately I'm still safe from any hack or scam.
I'm enjoying playing with the best gambling site though it requires a level 1 KYC but that's ok, as long as my money is safe which is my top concern. KYC might be one of the requirements later on, we can't skip that strong regulations as the government agencies tries to regulate casinos strictly.

In my case, it is too late for me to worry.  I am from the Philippines and the voter database had been leaked already[1], so possibly all the voters' information in my country had been sold to different entities.  So it doesn't matter anymore if the site I am registered with will have a data leak, but of course it is always good for the gambling platform to ensure the safety of its clients/customers' data.

I don't feel like protecting your personal life in the Internet is "hiding". There are things I'd be willing to show, like my face, or my ID, but not as a detailed scan, rather a video conference or with all the details besides my name hidden. What I wouldn't show is my address. I don't want to share such things with someone that I don't know and don't trust, even people who I send my money to.

It's the same relation that you have with someone in a store or a restaurant. You pay them and if needed can flash your ID, but you don't tell them where you live and don't hand them your ID so they can make a copy.

Legal Casinos will protect the data that you are protecting.  KYC is implemented to follow government regulations, so somehow we know this kind of data gathering by a legit company is protected by the data privacy law.

Legal Casino will never reveal its player information to anyone unless asked by the court.

Not sure why people wouldn't want to verify their account. Only feels like someone who has something to hide prefers anonymity over everything. Passing KYC not only makes your gambling activity safe, it also helps the casino stop users from abusing the casino. Not only this, but it does also help stop "illegal" activities. Others that say they are concerned "about their data", they are very well aware that their data are kept safe and won't be misused (why would anyone want to risk getting sued?) but they still use that excuse as a way to avoid going through KYC.

Why do you think your data is safe? A clerk in Curacao may make $6 USD/hour, approx $12,500 for the year but he can steal a player's database from a casino and sell it for $20,000.
438  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 12, 2022, 03:09:05 AM
Speaking of anonymity, crypto gamblers have gotten it before because they can play at crypto casinos without having to reveal their identity. For now, many casinos have implemented KYC for their members so anonymity seems to have started to disappear. Although the casino has not implemented it for all its members, sooner or later, it will surely happen so there will be no more anonymity for its members.

But gamblers can still hide their gambling activities because they can still use crypto from their wallets and send it to the casino to gamble. This can keep them hidden from the government, which wants to track people who gamble online.

They can enjoy using a small amount of funding, but when they start using big money, the process of verification will take place. Especially if luck permits them to win huge amount of money, they will be asked for KYC before they can move the money, so far there are still casinos who will allow gamblers to use none KYC gaming, I'm speaking in regard to crypto casino gamblers can still enjoy using services and play the game that they like to play.

Though with the growing market of this industry, we might be expecting that sooner or later, even crypto casinos will implement
verification might be because of government taxes that they needed to comply.
Yes, indeed, some casinos allow gamblers not to do KYC but sooner or later, casinos will ask them for KYC due to government regulations. Well, we can only hope that it doesn't come too soon so that we as small gamblers, can still enjoy the fun of playing gambling without having to go through a verification process.

I imagine if it was about taxes from gambling businesses and casinos didn't have to ask members for KYC, it would let us crypto gamblers not have to worry about it and be able to continue playing without worry. We are lucky to still play gambling at casinos that do not require KYC.
Almost all bitcoin casinos are located in Costa Rica or Curacao. In the history of crypto casinos, when has the government in CR or Curacao ever asked a casino for KYC?  The only real reason for KYC in these jurisdictions is a means for a casino not to pay it's players.
439  Economy / Gambling / Re: STAKE SCAMMED $100K AND NOT REPLYING EMAILS FOR 6 MONTHS on: October 11, 2022, 07:33:53 PM
I understand Stake's point of view. But this is completely wrong of Stake to allow high limits on table tennis. Then Stake waited until the player got his balance up to $100k and asked for a withdrawal. Overall, Stake is a pretty good book but this is wrong. A case of using KYC to confiscate funds.

To be anonymous on a casino is important only if you don't trust in the site, give real data to an untrusted site it's a huge risk for your personal data.

That's the way i see it, i have no problems providing my information to sites that i trust for a KYC process because I'm not doing money laundering or something like that and i don't have anything to hide.

But if i have to choose i would prefer to stay anon.

We discussed this in another thread a while back. It doesn't matter how trustworthy the casino is since employees are the ones that steal and sell the database with the players information. They are valuable especially from a big casino with a huge player base. To be safe, it's never a good idea to give out more information than is necessary.
