Hi yes I can confirm this. Please everyone update your clients for both QT and Halo from the links on the official site(Halo will link to pcloud download).
For QT it will take some time to update the peg database so just let it do it's thing when loading and eventually it should be synced.
The same is true for Halo. You may get a message when running Halo/Markets client that it didn't connect or bitbayd is busy. Actually just don't even click anything and let that message hang for a day. Clicking continue to connect early may make it compulsively reset the daemon and slow down the peg database update. I had not taken that into account on this build but it works if you just boot it up and totally ignore it for a day. This is the best way to let it re-calibrate. Then come back later and click to continue trying to connect and it should sync.
Then we will wait for network adoption of 4.0 client to hit 80% and then we can make sure everyones block height matches and only then fork is triggered by a transaction. However the bridge itself will take some time in the audit phase maybe some weeks so only after changes are made to those contracts and thoroughly checked by other coders through an audit would it be live on AMM exchanges such as Uniswap or whatever is available on Polygon.
So BitBay web markets are live, BAY also trades on NightTrader DEX which is live, BitBay bridge is also undergoing the fork and in about a months time we should have some AMM exchanges with trading capacity based on audit results.
Thanks everyone for your patience.

Howdy all,
We're still plugging away, and have developed polygon webmarkets, an AI moderation service for items, an exchange that allows for the decentralized, high-frequency trading of Bitcoin and other UTCO coins, and we're getting ready to release a hardfork that will move coins back and forth across a bridge from our mainnet to Polygon. We'll keep you all updated as we get into marketing mode. Keep the faith!
The bridge also supports moving coins to other networks such as Solana and 2nd layer ETH(because ETH would be too expensive to run a watered down peg). But in the beginning Polygon seemed the best. Solana I never was fond of the inability to deterministically decompile contracts making it easier to close source. With that said the web marketplace for commercial markets supports currently Polygon, DAI and of course can add WETH and others. Those can be found here: https://app.bitbay.marketThe community will let people know when it's time to update QT and Halo for any fork. Should be this year if tests continue to go well. Also the bridge needs a full audit and theres a small list of things I want fix with it anyways. And apologies for the several year hiatus and I know people have waited a long time for the project to be marketable again. Basically we had great success in 2017-18 with a 4000x increase from the lowest point with millions in daily volume. Then altcoin industry went bust a few years. Then major exchanges delisted because they were too lazy to make custom code for the peg. Then 3/4 of the exchanges we paid listing fees to stole our listing fee outright and vanished. The last exchange was Latoken who after a year of stalling followed our instructions. Then we got screwed by Latoken who stole users BitBay after they closed markets with a half-hearted attempt to adopt the peg(which I think only one of their devs pushed for and it worked for a while although they selectively messed with us). When the peg was actively trading there it worked to keep the price that the community and algorithm set so it proved the point that its sound in theory. Especially considering the low volume to keep the price was notable. But the community was reimbursed using my personal BAY which will be restored after the fork(we airdropped before to get it out of the way). And finally, as Yshurik agreed to do QT work he was busy for a year on an exchange he was coding and I was also busy with just life in general. Finally he had time and that was this year mostly working on the c++ side of the code which the theory was demonstrated behind BitBay bridge in Python in the Halo wallet tests years ago that I wrote. And the Solidity code as you all know was working for a few years(bridge testnet). Lastly this year those web markets were developed. The entire system of double deposit runs autonomously powered by the users themselves without any governance so it's ultra secure. There was also two audits done on it we encourage more. Then there was the goal of making sure users self filter using AI. It's a great model for any internet service really since the rule of thumb is small businesses and forums aren't responsible for what users post. Yet if they could self-filter it takes away the moderation overhead and keeps markets on top for commercial goods and services. This was actually another innovative tool made in the BitBay community since anyone can run an AI node so you could consider it decentralized AI moderation services and the rate limits are checked against active users public encryption key in the markets themselves which is a fantastic model for keeping bots off the system. The node works with a purely front end javascript architecture(no servers) as the nodes themselves use a simple tunnel with turnkey servers(like ngrok) so they dont necessarily have to pay for a membership to ngrok if the volume of transactions and requests is low. They could run their own AI models(like Molmo) in lieu of API keys to sightengine or Pinata(IPFS). But I feel if they do that, they should battle test the moderation capabilities to make sure there is no mistakes and prompts are correct. And of course everyone have a happy holidays. The community will post any updates as they come. I'm just rooting for BitBay from the crowd. Finally hopefully the bird learns to fly with it's own wings with less dependence on the community directly. It certainly has all the tools for it.

Hi legendary bitcointalk member and OG dev dzimbeck here. I can back up this user as legit. He works with BitBay and indeed he is scouting for a legitimate and serious project. So any candidates can ask him or ask in BitBay community telegram as well to confirm.

A quick question it happened a couple of times that the recent transactions tab in Dashboard page of my qt wallet was messed up (not in chronological order) but if I close and restart it everything is fine : just curious about the reasons that may cause this.
Thanks for reporting this, currently we are updating the QT for the bridge. Does this happen after a transaction or just randomly? Are you staking when it happens? Not sure when it happened , I usually let my QT wallet up and running 24h hours/7 days in background and from time to time I just go check if I received some staking reward ( so yes am constantly staking ) when I noticed TX order was messed up. Just for the record, I closed the wallet and re-launched it and everything came back to normal. Could it be that it was simply the transactions that you thought were in front were out on a stake? Because staking moves funds and ties them up theoretically. Or was the order of the dates of the transactions showing older TX before newer ones? You can PM me a screenshot if it happens again.

Any updates? Been quiet on here for a while.
Very good theres the bridge which we are doing the c++ side of it and lots of progress was made. Theres also the web markets with support for all major coins and also the sister project some of our community members are working on for a Bitcoin based DEX(one of the only ones to my knowledge). To see the progress if you have a Telegram it actually gets pretty active there. BitBay is very much doing well and hopefully it will get back to active trading on AMM exchanges on those networks like polygon with a sort of watered down peg in solidity.

UPDATE! Blackcoin More version 13.2.0 has been released! please check it out! https://blackcoinmore.orghttps://blackcoin.orghttps://github.com/CoinBlack/blackcoin-more/releases/tag/v13.2.0https://gitlab.com/blackcoin/blackcoin-more/-/releases/v13.2.0Changelog-Changed versioning (backport of Core's PR20223) -Testnet hard fork: Removed transaction timestamp -Testnet hard fork: Increased transaction fees and set minimum transaction fee of 0.001 BLK -Testnet hard fork: Enabled relative timelocks (OP_CHECKSEQUENCEVERIFY, BIP62, 112 and 113) -Enabled compact block relay protocol (BIP152) -Added an option to donate a specified percentage of staking rewards to the dev fund (20% by default) -Set default MAX_OP_RETURN_RELAY to 223 -Removed sendfreetransactions argument -Get rid of AA_EnableHighDpiScaling warning (backport of Core's PR16254) -Updated multiple dependencies Hi I have a suggestion that you shouldn't remove timestamp completely... isn't it used for stakes to increase security? Also it would make force a Halo software update. I think instead just do the following: Require stakes to have timestamp set correctly and any other TX allow timestamp set to zero... this way the field is never removed. Integration into NT can happen since NT can just set 0 for timestamp.

Thanks for posting the updates Yeah everything is moving along nicely

How was it possible to have "wrapped blackcoin" if BLK has not forked? What is the process to burn to wrapped chain? Is there a way to go from Binance back to BLK?

During last few days I noticed a substantial increment in number of active connections to Bitbay network, they "spiked" to 7/8 from the usual 3/4 I was used to see in Qt wallet : is there a particular reasons you are aware of? Anything going on behind the curtains?
It could be a local phenomenon with your QT or Halo client that it simply connected to some new nodes. To get a better idea it's best to check all the nodes seen at chainz.cryptoid and see how many are connected. As for the status update Yshurik is reviewing code for the QT/bitbayd side of the c++ bridge. He wants me to annotate it a bit more to help him understand the code I wrote in python, solidity and javascript. I see, thanks for answering : is there an addnode list somewhere I could paste into my conf.file to be sure am connecting to the right nodes? https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bay/#!network

Should Bay hodlers prepare in some way for the fork other than running their QT wallets? Any further explanation about what this fork should perfrom and any rought timeframe for it?
BAY holders need to update their QT before the fork. We will let you know when the download is ready. Typically during a fork the majority of the users as close to 100% as possible should be running the newest software. Is V. 3.1.3b the latest as of now? For now yes however we will update everyone when the new one is ready.

6 mos check in still rekt? yes. good luck with ... well who knows. but hey at least y'all ain't FTX!!!!!!!!! LOL what a piece of shit SBF and all that scam shit was (which we known about 1yr now) BAY bridge is finished if you were curious. And it will also be listed on an exchange called NightTrader that is being spearheaded by a couple community members which is a Bitcoin based DEX... probably the most sophisticated in the world. So when BAY forks to update for the bridge it should have PancakeSwap, Uniswap and the aforementioned exchange listings. Weather or not it succeeds from there is anyone's guess. But at least you can't say we gave up.

Hey guys hope all doing well.
Will the bridge be ready this December? because it looks like nigh trader coming this winter, so I guess you will be shooting for same time for maximum exposure.
any update will appreciated.
You can test the bridge now on Goerli at https://dzimbeck.github.io/test-pageCurrently I'm working on tying those last parts back to Halo. With the python pseudocode Yshurik is tasked with doing the c++ side. It should be this year for sure. However I can't speak for his schedule or hours. Either way, you can see for yourself this is in the final phases of testing. However do consider there will probably be a c++ client testnet phase. But that can be somewhat short because I can review that code anyways. NightTrader as a friendly reminder is NOT a project that I've coded, it's a decentralized exchange coded by Yshurik so I have not much control over that. It is based on ideas I shared years ago with sighashes and threshold sigs though. I gave the name to Alec because we have known each other since Blackcoin days so he is the one that knows whats going on with it. However, from watching the progress he made some good breakthroughs I still think winter is a bit early I anticipate it moreso in Q1 although for that to have a fully fledged GUI that rivals something like Kraken may take longer.

Dear World - BAY is making a comeback; But don't call it a Come Back - it's been here for year
An impulse from silence so it is good but what's next? There is still a lot to do; however, testing the bridge begins on the Goerli Testnet Network.
Basically you load Metamask, inport the BAYR, BAYF and BAYL token addresses and then you can send you ETH address on Goerli to receive coins. It's that easy.
What are difference among BAYR, BAYF and BAYL? Could you explain the differences among them, please. Winners never quit, and quitters never win. We'll be back just in time for the collapse. Go to Telegram to learn more ( https://t.me/bitbayofficial). DZ, et al. are doing their part. Others need to step up and and "knock-out" the Marketplace so we're ready. Be Creative. Be Free. I never on the BitPay boat but today I saw your thread and I thought it is a thread for BitPay service, not a coin. After a few minutes to read, it is not from BitPay but I am still interesting to find out more about your project and its future. Well BitBay is the only coin in the world with a dynamic peg. We are one of the oldest altcoins as well dating back to 2014 and were the first with decentralized markets and smart contracts(using double deposit escrow) This little explainer document can explain how the peg works. (difference between BAY, BAYR, BAYF) https://bitbay.market/bitbay-dynamic-peg-visual-reference.pdfAs you can see, it controls it's own supply. The reason we were not high on the charts(we used to be top 40 coin) is because after the peg forked central exchanges didn't wanna adjust their orderbooks just to accommodate our supply changes. This isn't like somewhat nonsensical projects like Ampleforth(where 1/10=10/100... no equity change means nothing changed economically), this peg which was planned since the beginning has a shift in equity when supply changes only users who actually had funds in reserve get their money made liquid and visa versa. So we had to make this peg system be able to be bridged to ethereum style networks but it was a lot of data(a "normal" transaction in ETH for this token would cost $100 because user balance is like a matrix of values). But thats okay because there is L2 networks and also cheaper alternatives(like Polygon and Binance) so I coded a watered down dynamic peg system and it's testing currently on Goerli. If you wanna test it, swing by our main Telegram channel and ask for testnet coins. It's free to do and it's a very friendly community. It's not just a bunch of guys shilling their bags, it's like a community of people that seriously care about tech in crypto industry... that's why they have been there so many years.

Ah yeah Doc thanks for posting this! Yes anyone who wants to participate in the Solidity based testnet can do that now, just come to Telegram and ask for testnet coins and we can also send a bit of testnet ETH as well. It's a lot of fun to see the changes in balance working, the funds freezing and unfreezing. For this testnet it's worth mentioning the freeze of reserve is only 2 minutes. I probably should have at least made it 10 to get a little bit more of a "delay" going but since this is just tests I figure it's the same either way. Very shortly it will also be tradable for a testnet version of Uniswap so therefore we would like some feedback on the different experience of being a liquidity provider. Because remember for being an LP here it needs to account for both liquid and reserve coins.

soooooo missing another bull run are we lol. sigh. No... not really. While BTC is down 22% and XRP 37%, etc. in the past 7 days - BAY is steady at an average mean of $0.64, despite what CMC says ($2.38). I think once all the smoke clears BAY will do quite well in the long run. Patience Pays. Rome was not built in a day. ...Now back to my sabbatical - again. lol lol here you are one year later....SAME sad story. 2015?? to 2022....sheesh. people have either retired off TONS of other projects, or are rekt from them. good to see you guys still at it (though i still see 0 coming out of it). Well BAY needs a permanent home so the goal now is to get it on DEXes. I agree currently we are in hot water. However once we can trade and have web markets that operate with any token, then maybe we can come back from this. It wouldn't be the first time we come back from being almost totally dead. 2018 for example we were up 4000 time from our floor and with a full delivery on the tools we said we would. However the reality is, the peg was too complex for central exchanges so we got overcharged, censored and even simply stolen from(Latoken, OEX, Bitker, etc). Latoken delivered at first but was honestly not worth the brief moments of success as they kept screwing our users with constant downtime every chance we had for higher volume. Funny thing is, you mentioned a bridge a year or so ago. It ended up being our only option. At least that way we don't deal with listing fees or exchanges going out of business or being "hacked". It's better this way. Either way, I wish you well. We will just have to see what happens after the bridge.
