@dev,
Today I download DigiBit, which is a MultiBit port, and try to use it. I like it so much coz it doesn't require to download the full blockchain
However, when I try to import private key from the core wallet and import it into this wallet, I get the following error:
The private keys unlock failed. The error was "Could not understand address in import file"
Having a closer look, private keys of this wallet start with letter "Q", while private keys of the core wallet start with letter "L" or "K"
It makes no sense private keys of these wallets are not compatible. Could you please have a look and get it fixed?
Thanks
This is actually due to an error with the QT wallet that has since been fixed and that I wasn't aware of when releasing Digibit. I'll get it fixed up asap and release a new version of digibit. Are you using Windows? Okay have updated the checkpoint file and tested importing private keys starting with both K and L sucesfully. You should be fine just to install it but you may want to backup the Digibit folder in appdata\roaming just to be sure Windows - https://mega.co.nz/#!nkFGjTCY!44SEsFEwrgfCaOZ2oCi59Xe7IV3ZjUa546ueZEcLS1ULinux - https://mega.co.nz/#!y1FXCAiZ!hLBt_8-X6exxk9eTufvrZkG4EhS1yjOqxTMQTSkafFQI'll get OSX updated tomorrow. Cheers. Confirm importing private keys from the core wallet works for me now. Thanks for the quick fix Will you update the github source too? P.S.: I also find that Android wallet has the same problem (private keys of Android wallet start with letter "Q" as well). Please alert the Android dev to fix it

Is it possible to deposit coins by importing private keys? I have a few wallets from coins but would prefer not to have to bother resyncing so I can send coins to StakeMyBit.
No its not possible at this time. I will look into getting this done and give you a timeline. Thanks. Thanks for that response. I do think it'll bring you more business, just because it's so much easier for the end user. I have about 6 possible PoS coins on my PC that need updating, but I honestly find it hard to get motivated to upgrade, and resync first, and while I love PoS in principal, I'm not disciplined enough to keep updating so many coins when their price & future is so marginal. That's why I think StakeMyBit will be a big success - lots of lazy buggers like me around Nice idea. There are also some coins having blockchain problems. An example is COOL coin with 30% POS. I'm thinking if your pool can be used to move the blockchain again and give such coin a new life I don't mind to import those private keys for your testing if you're interested

My PD username: Primeones See PD signature below for 0.004 Suggest adding a simple dice game that gives out jackpot every hour. The one who rolls the highest number within the hour will win EDIT: Just like previous times, I've slightly re-formatted my PD signature to make it more visible in my sig space. Guess you don't mind about it. Thanks

Users will now be able to donate some BTC from their account balance to Save the Children, an international charity that saves children's lives in over 120 countries. I have donated $1,500 on behalf of the website (Proof: https://bitpay.com/invoice?id=MPXZFRLaCDANerD8asDZcm) to encourage users to donate. Donations will be pooled and sent to the charity every time the pool reaches $100. Many thanks to kprawn for suggesting this idea. After the holidays, i shall work on making something that will enable users to automatically donate a % of their withdrawals. nice idea bro! It's really cool. Look like very few Bitcoin faucets run in this way. Good work! I wish I could earn enough from this faucet in order to donate something meaningful

Staking is working fine for me it can take some time, i'm not staking every 24hrs or that, and it depends on how much XDE you have. As an example, i staked some yesterday, but i hadn't staked any for 6 days before, also i have to admit to sometimes forgetting to leave my wallet on 24/7, so that will be a factor too. thanks for your response. I don't have much XDE, but still there is something else that bothers me. Wallet shows status: "no staking because you don't have mature coins" when I have 5430 confirmations, which is definitely more than the required minimum. I should have low weight as compared to network's, but still be able to stack, meaning be able to compete for interests. Have had wallet opened 24/7 for the last 10 days. You are the only one Complaining or Concerning about Staking. Sorry there is no help or change to the Wallet to Fix what you think is wrong or not working. Get more XDEs and you will see how fast you will be Staking. Thanks! I'm a just bit confused when I read this... Last time you said when all the coins get distributed, any amount of coins will be able to stake https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=841830.msg9661609#msg9661609Now it seems my little share from free distribution may not be able to stake at all? Please just help me to understand it clearly. Thank you

I don't trust this site and its order pricing. They seem to know how far to go on the bid side. Only to robot's orders but not yours. They will drop prices when your coins are listed for sale.
There is nothing legit here, and no support, worst exchange ever We absolutely have support and a very active community. Please join us on Freenode IRC https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net/#coin-swapIts been MORE THAN A MONTH since I contacted support and ask them about my coins contact me on freenode irc or send me an email telling me what your issue is and I'll look into it. jared@coin-swap.netWont even bother this time mate, too late. I sent emails, enter the chat for ages, and everything that can be done so fk off seriously youre kidding me Agree... this exchange is crazy and has left all customers at the dark for too long They do have "very active" IRC but all are robots and no human there. And honestly where is lan? Does he reply to emails anymore? As an exchange, you seriously need someone replying all emails everyday instead of ignoring most of them

Wow I didn't aware of this TOS. It seems I can't use my account anymore coz it was permanently suspended
Don't quite understand why set it 30 days. If this requirement is not revised, I'm afraid I won't invest my time on CoinAd again
You would be better off most likely. If this is the same "BitcoinAliens" that also runs the BitcoinAliens faucet, you will receive no end of spam in your inbox. Yes you're right.. I've kept receiving spam promotional emails from "BitcoinAliens" even my CoinAd account was already permanently suspended It's sad to see CoinAd finally runs into this kind of cheap spam service like this

Dear Coinmin.pw
Since you are not answering my email, I am posting to this thread.
I just have read the site news: LuckyCoin (LKY) will be removed from pool due unstable blockchain. Please withdraw your coins before 18/12/2014.
What is the definition of an "unstable blockchain"?
The Luckycoin uses advanced checkpointing ACP and has a well maintained core network infrastructure. I have not seen anything unusual on the Luckycoin network over the last weeks.
So the question is why you want to remove the Luckycoin?
Titan
I also feel a bit surprise to read that... LKY blockchain does not seem to have any problem atm If niceman can review on this, maybe we're LUCKY enough to see LKY back to this pool

What is the limit when a user will get deleted or become inactive?
From CoinAd's TOS: After 30 days of inactivity, your account will be permanently suspended. An inactive user for 72 hours after registration will have the account permanently suspended. Wow I didn't aware of this TOS. It seems I can't use my account anymore coz it was permanently suspended Don't quite understand why set it 30 days. I have a premium publisher account with adsense for more than 5 years so its extremely unlikely my account will get banned. Just every few months some guy from their compliance team sees the home page and assumes it is a paid-to-click website and disables ads for the website. Then I have to contact my rep to get it fixed. Ads are back up and running now.
But, aren't sites like Bitcoin faucets also against the ToS? No faucets usually aren't, i see many of them using adsense nowadays. freebitco.in is classified as a game rather than a "paid-to" website. Thanks for clarification. Many people still thought it should violate Adsense rules and were afraid that the site may get banned one day That's great to hear Google now doesn't consider it as a PTC site

Sure it's dead. It's just strange that some people still buying NAS and sometimes even at 2 satoshi
Who knows... There are still many people buying into cheap altcoins with 1 or 2 satoshi and expect to get rich when these coins pump up NAS is not one of the worst cheap altcoins out there. At least trades are still active and the blockchain is still alive. I've seen many other altcoins died immediately as soon as their devs were gone
