321  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io ION ionomy. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: June 30, 2023, 12:27:23 AM
Did some of the older stuff in this thread get deleted, like the "Garza Sex Tape?" I was trying to share the start of recent Garza fuckery with some others, but it looked like a lot was missing? Did Garza get posts taken down?

Some posts may have been deleted by users who got threatened by Garza but that would have happened back in 2014-2015. Some posts may have been reported to moderators if they involved kids or private details of people not related to the scam. Some images may no longer load if they were posted on some sketchy websites.

Overall though most of the content is still here, if you can find it in 2000+ pages.

Meanwhile Putin (allegedly) is hugging people in Dagestan of all places, a bizarre departure from mile-long tables and week-long quarantines. Desperate for PR apparently.

Dagestan is Muslim...and they have their Holiday these days...but I would not expect you to know that, or anything

How does that make them immune to whatever Putin is afraid of? Just recently he put "voeynkors" through quarantine before meeting with them.
323  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: June 29, 2023, 12:49:08 AM
Wooops... Surovikin seems to have been arrested as being linked to the Wagner march to (near) Moscow.

It's funny how the same z-nut "voyenkors" that just a few days ago were claiming Surovikin will replace Gerasimov now call him a traitor. The pseudo-coup really did a number on putinists, they don't know which lies to believe. Just look at be.open flailing here trying to make it sound like Lukashenko can threaten NATO... by throwing sacks of potatoes over the border wall into Poland I assume.

In addition to the camouflage cybertruck we’ve seen driving around TeslaCarsOnly posted this image of a wrapped cybertruck in red and black.

It's photoshop and a really ugly lazy one too.

I know you're desperate to shill it any way you can but come on. Find something positive and stop making cybertruckers look even dumber than they are.
325  Other / Meta / Re: Can Bitcointalk Adopt the Web3 System? on: June 27, 2023, 10:27:35 PM
The buzzword "web3" was invented by shitcoiners for shitcoiners to make them feel more important, likening themselves to HTML ("web 1.0") and MySpace ("web 2.0") OGs. Outside of all that crypto-scammery I've heard no one who really does "web" in a serious capacity (developers/designers/etc) calling it "web3" unironically.

So yes, Bitcointalk will absolutely do this right after KYC is implemented.

I take it that it was you who drafted him? Again, depending when you did,not a bad idea.

LOL, no, I didn't. Although I had my share of screwups.
327  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: June 25, 2023, 01:11:34 PM
Z-telegram rumor mill says that Putin's former bodyguard and current Tula governor Aleksey Dyumin will replace Shoigu (Prigozhin's enemy #1) as the new minister of defence. Also Gerasimov (Prigozhin's enemy #2) is allegedly on his way out, to be replaced by general "difficult decision" Surovikin (the one who gave up Kherson).

If that happens, it'd be a massive win for Prigozhin.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: June 25, 2023, 03:57:34 AM
Someone drafted Gronk last year, funny thing is it was right before I was going to. Smiley

It's fine, you can get him this year. Get Brady too while you're at it.

(actually I haven't been following NFL at all the last few months... for all I know Brady unretired again)
329  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: June 24, 2023, 07:11:13 PM
Really? Want to bet that its just show and Prigozhin will back off soon?

Too late, Putin already caved in, in his usual chickenshit manner with help from the potato fuhrer.

Yevgeny Prigozhin accepted Aleksandr Lukashenko’s proposal on stopping the advance of Wagner’s armed units in Russia’s territory and on further steps meant to deescalate tensions.

At present an absolutely advantageous and acceptable variant to defuse the situation is available, including safety guarantees for fighters of the private military company Wagner.

Still remains to be seen if Prigozhin gets Shoigu's head in exchange.

They seem also to be on their way to Moscow.

Moscow in 3 days?

The bald rebel is claiming that he took Voronezh, and shot down a few helicopters and a transport plane. Russia air force apparently bombed the wagnerists on M4. I haven't had time to geolocate that shit on my own so I'm not gonna post the links but there is quite a lot of fortification going on around Moscow so shit's getting real. There are also reports of them moving to Krasnodar (opposite direction from Rostov than Moscow, towards Crimea).
332  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: June 24, 2023, 02:33:52 AM
All sorts of sketchy videos are surfacing on telegram so it's kinda difficult to judge what's real but it seems that Prigozhin's military column entered Rostov-on-Don (simply driving around a street "blockade" of parked buses) and have surrounded or taken over the headquarters of Southern Military District.

People on the street are just hanging out and enjoying the show.

I have no idea how everything will end, maybe this story will have boring outcome, but my popcorn is ready.

Shouldn't be boring, it's a friggin' coup, these are always exciting... either Prigozhin or Shoigu will end up hanged on a lamppost, both excellent outcomes.

Unless Prigozhin says "I was hacked, sorry, ignore the shit I posted", that'd be boring.
334  Other / Meta / Re: Why do you browse the forum without notification? on: June 23, 2023, 01:41:09 PM
I still wonder what happened to Piggy. It reminds me: maybe @TryNinja can add a PM feature to his bot?

IIRC Piggy (or someone) mentioned that theymos was not a fan of the flood of PMs the bot was creating. A built-in forum feature could mitigate that by e.g. automatically deleting the notifications after N days or just rolling it into the watchlist somehow.
335  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: June 21, 2023, 11:57:35 PM
There are rumors that Mihailo Podoliak is next.
Don't want to disappoint you, but Budanov is alive, he is doing fine and sending some greetings:
https://t.me/joker_ukr/8386
Podolyak is next? Maybe, but this joke was fun first two times, now it's getting boring.

Looks like deepfake video

When will you z-tards realize that one person, be it Zelensky, Zalunzhny, Budanov, heck even all three of them don't matter that match in the grand scheme of things. Had any of them (or all three) died, another person would take their place and Ukrainians would have one more reason to fight.

But hey, if it makes it easier for you to sleep at night hugging Putin-shaped pillow and whispering "deep fake deep fake deep fake" - have at it.
336  Other / Meta / Re: Why do you browse the forum without notification? on: June 21, 2023, 11:38:48 PM
How do people that doesn't use quotes or mentions notification bots browse this forum? I mean, it is wrong and does not promote healthy discussion.

I doubt that being mentioned somewhere and rushing to respond to some likely dipshit troll making ridiculous accusations is healthy at all.

Anyways, I used one of the early bots that sent PMs. It was fantastic. Having to use telegram or a third party site is enough of a hassle for me that I just don't see enough value in it to justify that. I can use forum search for my username if I was so vanity-inclined. Other than that, if someone really wants my attention they can PM me.

The forum works just fine without notifications. Go to the board of your choice, read the threads that seem interesting to you, and respond if you have anything to say. Put the thread in your watchlist (forum can do that automatically too) if you want to follow that discussion.

Having said that, a built-in notification function would be quite nice to have. Perhaps someone could do a patch for theymos. Doesn't seem like it would be too complicated. Forum search is halfway there already. Make some improvements to handle weird characters in usernames, actual notifications via PM/e-mail/definitely not telegram, maybe some AI GPT robot overlord to filter out common words (j/k).

Crypto Earn Platform Haru Invest Freezes Withdrawals, Citing Service Partner Issue
https://decrypt.co/144354/crypto-earn-platform-haru-invest-freezes-withdrawals-citing-service-partner-issue

Gotta love "crypto journalism". Quote some press releases, a few telegram trolls, done. I guess they can't afford to have their fiverr "journalists" spend 15 more minutes to provide any kind of background on the story. WTF is a "crypto earn platform"?

Anyway, no big loss here, I've never heard of Haru before this and don't particularly care whether it was a "defi" or a "bank" or a "shitcoin" type of deal or straight-up ponzi. Greed and stupidity will always find a way.
338  Economy / Reputation / Re: The whole reputation system is pure garbage on: June 15, 2023, 11:19:57 AM
What baffles me the most from this ridiculous topic is this part:

Its sad to see that my account is filled with red trsust from these scammers and their ass lickers like foxup, suchmoon (which i also consider a big scammer who stole mining equipment)

I highly doubt that either suchmoon or Foxpup ever stole anything from you.

There was some really weird accusation against me a couple of years ago, completely made up. Dimwits like Thule will latch on to anything. For all I know he made it up himself, although the accuser seemed to be more literate so maybe not.

The funny thing is that I actually revised my rating to a neutral basically saying that Thule is a bullshit artist. Apparently he's also colorblind.

Bradley may be replaced, and probably even quickly, but the Leopards .. they will also be replaced, but instead of 2A6 it will be the ancient 1A5, after they are restored to a sane state. So, Ukraine should not rely too much on Western tanks, especially since Kiev has already become disillusioned with them, they say the old Soviet ones are better, easier to operate and live longer on the battlefield.

Riiiiiight. So how come Putin's glorious armed forces using the best-in-the-world soviet military equipment couldn't defeat Ukrainian forces that had very little Western equipment at the beginning, and still can't defeat Ukrainians with more Western equipment (albeit inferior if we were to believe your story). Something not adding up.
340  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: June 11, 2023, 05:07:18 AM
This is direct evidence against Ukraine.

That's not "direct evidence". It's circumstantial at best, not really about this kind of event - the article you quoted was about raising the water level (basically opening the gates while not having access to them) without flooding villages, not blowing up the dam completely.

Maybe you, in contrast, have direct evidence against Russia, in addition to unfounded accusations? No, you don't have them, and no one has them, otherwise they would have been circulated by all Western media.

Russians controlling the dam and the impossibility to cause this kind of damage remotely and unnoticed is quite damning albeit also circumstantial evidence. But you wouldn't believe "Western media" even if they had a high resolution photo of drunk Ivan unloading a truckload of TNT at the dam so let's not pretend that you are looking for evidence here.

Funny how Russian satellite surveillance has nothing to say about this, almost as if Russia doesn't have anything up there.
