1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ Announced plan to Liquidate FTT of FXT. Your take on this on: November 06, 2022, 08:26:38 PM
I have not fully comprehend the beef between CZ and FTT CEO, seems there was a kind of bridge of contract in terms of policy, which I am yet to get  detail of, FTX CEO has tease CZ to sell all to him that he will buy all. We are watching as events unfold
2  Economy / Economics / Re: friend I want to invest short term in bitcoin and crypto. to meet their living a on: November 05, 2022, 05:46:57 PM
He shouldn't rely on crypto short term  investment for his daily need, this is because he doesn't control the market, and when he's desperate to make money, he just won't stop making mistakes, I have bought some good altcoins for long term, but as the coins are pumping, I take some profit along the way. I don't sell all my position to avoid FOMO and getting nuke. Cypto is for the long term patient folks.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you further your degree from school, or learn a new skill after college? on: November 05, 2022, 05:37:17 PM
Let the one that want to continue with her education do so, and not be discouraged, maybe it's her destiny, and let the one that want to learn a skill not be discouraged to doing so. As for me, I will rather learn a skill than going back to school. I learned every necessary skill I am now using to make money from my home with just my computer. I should have started learning skill earlier.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: November 04, 2022, 10:18:14 PM
I invested $20 in WOOF, I saw $7,800 but collected just $800 thinking I was going to hit $200K, it's now $130 still in profit. I invested over $400 in cake and saw over $16k, maybe I collected over $2k, Ubix I invested over $100 and saw over $7k but collected just $300. Funny, the list goes on but I won't take less anymore because such opportunities are difficult.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why these coins never touch previous ATH on: November 04, 2022, 10:10:28 PM
Once a coin starts trending with some fire works, people start buying into it, it's called FOMO, this give early investors and developers a huge chance to cash out big and once the trend dies, late investors turn to community members trying to resurrect a dead cat bouncing. A new strnger tech will always come to challenge the old ones just as we have different blockchains challenging ethereum network but thanks to layer2 helping ethereum stay afloat.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instagram supports Polygon for NFT use. on: November 04, 2022, 10:04:47 PM
Polygon is a great layer2 blockchain with an extremely low transaction fees. I don't understand why developers still launching on ethereum mainet for their new projects instead of choosing polygon. Mainet transaction fees are just too expensive and tiring to keep paying. MATIC coin is going to blow up.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why doesn't Bitcoin consider a low interest rate mechanism to fight deflation? on: November 02, 2022, 10:52:14 AM
Your  proposal is what POS offers, BTC already rewarding miners and that is strong enough economic value. The best way to benefit from bitcoin and accumulate more if you're not a miner, is to buy low and sell high and repeat same with the hope you won't get caught by the market.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why btc cannot move pow to pos on: November 02, 2022, 10:04:16 AM
Proof of Stakes is a centralized system, giving more to the rich and power, POS can seize your money while staking with a validator by just a single proposal and they tell you it's the people's will "democracy". POW is a decentralized structure and am happy bitcoin won't be switching to POS.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 14th Bitcoin Whitepaper Anniversary 31 October on: November 02, 2022, 09:47:36 AM
I daily wonder how I would have survived a brutal inflation in my country with wife and kids if bitcoin wasn't born, thanks to God for protecting Satoshi and giving him inspiration to create a value that will later liberate people from wicked government. Thank you bitcoin.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Security In Decentralization on: November 01, 2022, 03:52:45 AM
Cybersecurity issues are not limited to decentralized protocols alone but inclusive of centralized system. Developers should always ensure they are up to date with their security network, and they must partner with reputable security firms for protection and they should have their security team too. Just the way good men are busy trying to secure the society, so also evil men are out to beat the security.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGECOIN AND ITS EFFECT ON SOCIAL MEDIA on: November 01, 2022, 03:46:54 AM
How much do verified badge holders make monthly on twitter? If majority they not make money, then another platform will soon gain many followers. $20/month is not very expensive but when compared with some nation with poor currency value then it's  huge sum. Let's see as this go.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin to be used for micropayments on Twitter? on: October 29, 2022, 08:21:28 PM
This is already pumping, sadly I have just few left, I will need to bridge from dogechain to mainet and wait for possible more ballistic from Elon Musk tweets. I really wonder why they will choose dogecoin for payment with it slow network.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear market Survivals on: October 29, 2022, 06:51:36 PM
Your assertion is not completely true. Some project are just hype designed for the bear, they fade away with the bear. This was how I played with many ETH during the uniswap madness, when proper bull run came, they either rug or went dormant till date. It's important you carefully analyze projects before joining a deadly train.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you selling your Dogechain (not dogecoin) or investing more, anytime soon? on: October 29, 2022, 06:47:46 PM
I got the airdrop because I bridge my dogecoin to the dogechain ecosystem, I am yet to sell any, I bought just few on MXC, which I intend keeping to see how the project fares. Hopefully I get lucky with some $Meme as the market is pumping.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn aside from bounty campaign and airdrop on: October 27, 2022, 08:49:55 AM
Thanks for this update, some of the testnet network are always down, causing some level of frustration. I will appreciate if you have a link to some of the processes drop. Sui always a problem same with Shardaum.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of most prominent altcoins of the moment on: October 27, 2022, 08:25:25 AM
I don't know if the Chrismas and New Year celebration will give us more opportunity to buy at a lower price, if history repeat itself, then it may be good to wait otherwise you can start buying in trenches instead of a single buy. I bet on ATOM. ETH, APT, Optimism, EVMOS, NEAR, XLM, and fear others.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does altcoins actually have the potentials of generating benefits to investors? on: October 27, 2022, 08:12:55 AM
My biggest loss in crypto came from altcoin. And my biggest profit in crypto came from altcoin. New altcoins entering the market is high risk and high reward. Talk about cake, bake, ubix, woof, shiba Inu, "Luna", Matic, BNB in their earliest days, these gave people massive profit and some persons lost out too. You can't be wrong with BITCOIN as a store of value, it's the king of crypto.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Censorship be the end of the Ethereum Network? on: October 26, 2022, 08:31:24 PM
proof of stakes are not totally decentralized, POW remains the best. Ethereum should have stayed in POW and allow L2 disgest the network and other EVM. POS validators can decide to halt the entire network and take a suppose decentralized protocol offline, this recently happened to BSC network when a hacker stole some fund from of the protocols. Juno is a project I lost $1400 to, it's a POS, there was a whale account they fear could destroy the JUNO liquidity, they said he gamed the JUNO airdrop, community voted to seize his asset. Lols an asset that was already in his private wallet but staked with validators. Lols,. Good as it sounds, POS will cause many problem.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone who buys Coins from the Top50 will stay poor on: October 26, 2022, 07:37:05 PM
Your assumption is your personal opinion which is wrong. People are getting rich through bitcoin and Ethereum which are placed at 1 and 2. I still regret selling my 20ETH which was the reward I got from Uni airdrop. Don't mislead people to the evaporation of their money. See what happened to UST/LUNA. Many new projects do rug pull just to let you know, don't be over confident when giving a financial advise in a public forum.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does new projects succeed in bear on: October 26, 2022, 04:22:54 PM
I think success rate is dependent on the team and what they intend to solve. Team with good intention can be building while the bear last and they can deploy in bull run or just have a limited trades in bear. I remember Hex bounty was done in bear and it was tagged scam, I didn't participate because of scam tags.
