741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price drop, guys who say? on: June 28, 2018, 02:27:55 PM
I think we will not reach that. The best support that we have is $6,000 and until now it is holding its ground. People know that it is a good buy when it reaches that level. Now as I post this prices is now climbing and it seems that we will now bounce up, I am not saying that it will go now to the moon but I think we will go back up.
Unless something changes the movement of the market pretty fast and the bulls kick in pretty fast, this is very possible.

Yeah, it is a good buy at this stage, but there is still the possibility of going a bit down and I would not even be surprised if it goes as low as $5000 in this short term before picking up for an uptrend as that region do have some psychological support in a way and tallies with some technical regions on the chart. Let's see the way the market will develop in coming days anyway.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange it or Hold it on: June 28, 2018, 11:52:38 AM
It is important to research on the project that you would be joining when deciding on whether or not you should hold or exchange right away. It is important to look at three aspects of a coin; understanding of an ICOs value, the team behind the company, and the interest of people in it. It would also be helpful to scan their white paper for more information and to be able to gain understanding on what they intend to build. By this, you may know if a certain coin has a potential to grow its value or not.
Well, that is a way to go but it is usually better to always research before even being a part of any airdrop since most of the time, it is not something huge and you may just have to hold and no one would really want to be bag holding a shit coin even though it is free.

It is imperative to at least be sure it has a future before deciding to hold, otherwise if it looks like something that is no longer worth holding, I usually set the next sell order when a pump occurs.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John Macafee short term predictions on: June 27, 2018, 07:38:55 PM
he is charging for each of those tweet he normally makes about coin.

His website states $105,000 per tweet. He is quite simply operating a pump-and-dump scheme on a grand scale. He is a scam artist and criminal, and no one with any sense should listen to what he has to say.

You got it right there mate, this Damn Shit are fooling people of this community with his verdict but the truth is every letter comes out from his Mouth Has an Price meaning what he says has a appropriate payments from those Coin or token he will be Promoting

Stop listening to this Scammer and never buy his words,to OP stop posting about that man youre not helping
I even do not know why some people are still following this dude with his shit load of predictions that does not make any sense at all. If there is any old fool I have ever known, it is this guy up to the point of wanting to eat his stuff in public despite all his bullish sentiments on shit coins and tokens.

In fact, if this guy is endorsing any coin these days, it is best to stay away from such coin or token. He is just using his space in the community to earn without caring much about the community following him and that is bad.
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am going to invest 10BTC to different altcoins on: June 27, 2018, 06:22:36 PM
I appreciate your intention of diversification of your investments. Still I suggest do not buy for all your 10 BTC in one single day. Spread that out for 2 or 3 weeks to find different price levels.

I guess waves might be one of prime part in your portfolio..

For all the details you asked, just coinmarket's page might answer more particularly. Here you may go : https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/waves
745  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I buy the current ICO? on: June 27, 2018, 07:49:08 AM
No, it depends on the project itself. Before you buy coin on the ICO, make sure that the coin you will buy is potential to any pump and increasing value. It means you need to study the whole project, the roadmap, plans, application, concept etc. for you to decide whether it is worth to invest or not.
Irrespective of the project, the market is in a general bearish situation and apparently affects ICOs that even do have prospect. Just very sure were able to at least do well in a way but that does not mean their movement still was not affected.

I am sure by the time the sentiments in the market ends up changing, a lot of things will change in the altcoin market as well which is what I am looking forward to at this moment now. I believe we will get to see some good movement upward in coming months anyway.
746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin price based on bitcoin price? on: June 27, 2018, 06:54:32 AM
EOS and ETH clearly show some signs of independence from time to time. The rule will be broken some day.
Yeah, and even at that, there are still sometime they still respond pretty fast to the move in the market.
There is no doubt though that some of the coins in the market so far are actually trying to stay independent based on the support they have, but that still does not mean they are totally independent and for anyone to just simply be relaxed.

For ETH though, it sure seems like it is really doing great on its own so far.
747  Economy / Economics / Re: When the government forbids cryptocurrency on: June 26, 2018, 06:46:40 PM
When the government forbids cryptocurrency

In my country, the government is gradually apply internet and cryptocurrency control decrees. Previously, they banned direct Bitcoin transactions. Currently, they are banning crypto-related bank transfers. And of course, ICOS is also gradually banned .
Initially, they said they would not ban crypto and bitcoin. But now their actions show that they do not want crypto to exist.
Is their purpose not to secure crypto investors? They are trying to make it their own
They see huge profits being lost for themselves
And when the internet management program took place in my country, maybe I could not come up here to share my views like this. So sad
What a pity for a country that is solely trying to go against evolution rather than embracing it and this is simply the reason why some countries eventually out of their own greed or fear of change, end up lagging behind at the end. It would have been interesting if you had mention the country you are referring to, but in this case, I guess this is going to be a huge one on the citizens.

Regarding the control of internet however, I really do not see how this is going to come to play unless they want to totally scrap or limit it totally which to me sounds more like an autocratic government kind of thing.
748  Economy / Economics / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: June 26, 2018, 05:42:47 PM
If cryptocurrency volume will be going to decrease even more due to some reckless actions like forgetting your password then the price will keep on increasing, always remember that a low amount of supply will lead to the price of coins to increase even more in the market.

If that will happen it means it is lucky to other because of one mistake. The increase of the value is the happeness of everyone because it can put up the profit in different way to go. When the market is red everyone tried to hold and waiting to high the value maybe that is the cycle of crypto currencies.
but not all users will have the same options as you. not all users will holding and be patient as you do, maybe many of them also sell out of panic and fear of getting bigger losses, and that's what keeps the bitcoin price down, should some of them have to be patient, because the price is sure to go up, they are too rash..
This is not even supposed to be about the value of bitcoin, this is a discussion on what happens when bitcoins are lost and the possibilities of what would happen in such scenarios. Firstly, if there is anything that would happen in the market, is just to increase the value more in the long term based on the number of coins in circulation rather than causing harm.

I believe a time will come when people will start realizing better ways to store up their assets in cases where they may have to leave it as an inheritance when they pass on, as death is one way a lot of coins has been lost till date apart from carelessness.
749  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world? on: June 26, 2018, 11:25:36 AM
I don't know about alts like Ethereum, but Bitcoin itself has become a household name.
Who would not really talk much about bitcoin at this stage after the huge bull run last year ?
That was definitely expected as far as I am concerned, and it is believed that no matter what we are in a stage where things are even going to get more enticing and exciting as we move on or recover from this trend.

Probably things may have looked a bit down with respect to people's enthusiasm, most especially those who bought at the top, but there is still a lot of hope for some who truly understand the space and the opportunities that are present.
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market can be manipulated? on: June 26, 2018, 10:43:22 AM
Market can be manipulated, there are bots set to certain exchanges that does that, and there is need to be careful when you are on exchanges.
Thus be careful.

effects of market manipulation can be
1. to spread false information on media,
2. to spread fud and force hodlers to dump
3. to make newbies make errors while trading and make losses

and many more
be careful always.
All these things are already happening and by now, I expect that everyone should have gotten used to it and simply be able to act on it until probably there would be some regulation against that which in a way would not be easy though. The idea of manipulation is to drive the market in a way that pleases the player and that can be so frustrating even for traders at times, and now that we even have the future exchanges, it makes it even worse.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin leaves. Who would benefit?? ETC is my bet on: June 26, 2018, 08:09:49 AM
In the case where something like that ends up happening, I believe ETC or NEO will actually take the lead in such case. ETC still have a lot of prospect and there is no doubt about that, and that can give it a chance to get better at development without being overshadowed by Ethereum.

Vitalik leaving the game though is something that does not sound like could be possible at the pace Ethereum is going when there is still so much to get but at least based on assumption, that is what I would expect would play out.
752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: June 25, 2018, 04:06:42 PM
I think a criteria to be a good gambler is to know how to strictly restrict himself from using the money that are suppose to be used for his family expenses to gamble in order to chase back his heavy losses, that is one of the reason why people who are heavily addicted to gambling could often find themselves getting into a very stressful relationship with their family members.

Agree, good gamblers are those who are able to keep from falling into things that can interfere with his life. Those who use little of their money to gamble and no intention to use the money that should be used for other purposes, are those that I think a good gambler.
They are just reasonable and realistic. That does not make them good gamblers. By the definition of good, it means you are doing well in such a thing. No one actually gets to win a lot from gambling unless their luck pulls them through, but in any case, there should always be a sense that helps one to knowing when to stop gambling and when to just have fun from it which a lot of people find very hard and makes them an unreasonable gambler.

Being a good gambler will not be having any extra edge in my experience after all. You may get enforced to face sudden losses even you have behaved like a good and legendary gambler because gambling is working in such a way to shock us most of the times. Being a good gambler may give you some self satisfaction and you cannot expect anything more than that.
Yes, I believe that by being reasonable and facing reality, any gambler will always know that the only thing you can expect most of the time from gambling is losing and if you are not comfortable with that, it is better to quit, but once you believe that luck can only come once in a while without thinking so much about winning and seeing any winning as a very huge luck, then such a gambler will easily be able to get himself or herself in order and always put himself in check all the time so as not to over step boundaries.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a scam ? on: June 25, 2018, 12:20:51 PM
How do you guys spot scam betting sites ? Which are the red flags with those kind of sites and do you believe the rating/review sites or they are mainly paid like the ICO review sites ?
There are reviews online as some may have been a victim before and be helpful enough to share their experience which is the only way I hope would be pretty easy to be able to know if a gambling site is a scam or not. Also, you may want to just stick with what others are using and those with far better reputation than trying to gamble a site that is unknown and not well used which I feel you will be better off.

That's right, it's better to check how long they have  been in existence and then try them with little amounts first while you examine how they respond to questions from their call center, payments processing procedures and all that matters before you commit any big amount in their trust.
How long they have been in existence is not even the case as some over the years may have turned out to being scam in some way or start behaving strangely.

For instance, FJ has been in existence for a while until lately when they just started withholding huge winnings and taking huge time for them to pay their users with respect to that. All these things are updated review which will help any user of such platform and those who are considering using it to know how to make the best use of such information to their advantage when making decisions.
754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have firm decisions on trading, hodle for future long term profits. on: June 24, 2018, 05:14:16 PM
We can only make firm decisions on trading if we have always a presence of mind otherwise we will only fall into a big trap. Trading carries risk and to be able to attain such good trading, we need to always keep monitoring about the fluctuations in the crypto market and this is just one of the many options that we can make. Furthermore, hodle can affect our emotions if we don't know how to handle if in case we see the market full of blood. So, we must have a heart of steel to face unexpected downfall in order for us to overcome such situations.
Making firm decisions in trading is far more than having a huge mind but about the knowledge that you have which is the only way I see it as an easy path to success when it comes to trading. There is always so much to learn and no one can finish learning everything just in one day and that brings me to the path where learning is the most important ingredient that is needed to thicken any trader into making good decisions.
755  Economy / Speculation / Re: We expect a favorable market in June? on: June 23, 2018, 05:11:13 PM
As somebody else wrote, it's impossible to find a pattern and do any thoughtful prediction now.
I don't see similarities with anything we had. We had last year steady periods, we had quite some downtrends too, but this year it's already too much.
Right now all we can do is the usual "hope for the best, but be prepared for the worse".
I hope we'll see a nice market in June, or at least July, but... yeah... it's getting tough...
Positive market is highly impossible in coming months. The market is filled with a high level of uncertainty at this stage and anyone who is making any prediction right now is obviously a baseless one.

For one fact, the market tends toward a huge downtrend as the case may be, and it is hard to certainly predict anything at this point. June is about to end though, and nothing special, so I guess we have to wait to see how July is going to be playing out then.
756  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dont Buy BTC Expensive, Wait. on: June 23, 2018, 12:24:32 PM
Dont Buy BTC Expensive, Wait. Whale want to sell you Expensive BTC  now, wait and buy BTC cheaper.
I am still pretty sure we are not  going down lower than the current levels but not before we see another short term uptrend in some couple of days and see some rally in the altcoin market.

I would be buying some cheap altcoins now though, to increase my bitcoin stash for the long wait while holding to see the market go down lower because I have the utmost feeling we are not done yet but one thing is whether holding or waiting to buy lower, no one will regret doing so.
757  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think will happen in august ? on: June 23, 2018, 07:39:01 AM
Hello, what do you think will happen in august ? Now is it a good time time to buy, I have some altcoin like exrnchain, eos, litecoin I think this will boom in august, what do you think ?
I think the market will increase in August this year. Because bitcoin and altcoin are on the increase after dark days. It is possible that the bitcoin price will increase dramatically and break the mountain peaks $ 10,000
It is still too early to start assuming any increase, most especially for bitcoin. The truth here is that the market is not even looking like there is a chance for a bull trend yet.

For altcoins however, I am sure we may see some little uptrend and some consolidation period for bitcoin which could cause some recovery for the altcoin market and of course huge increase as the case may be. Time will tell anyway since we are getting closer to August.
758  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need money... on: June 21, 2018, 08:56:28 AM
I am going very bad phase.I need my money for my personal reasons. So can I withdraw my some of my investment.

Everything in the market is going red and red day by day. Everything has already reduced more than 100 % .So there is any chance to increase in the market within 15 days.
I can wait only for 15 days.
Should I wait for 15 days or withdraw instantly.
It is your choice to make, however, you may want to change your topic as that would give the wrong impression to mods that you are begging and that is against the rule of the forum. If you feel you are in dire need of the money and there is no other source you can get it from, you have no choice than to just get out some of what you have to fix that.

Unfortunately for you the market is in a huge bear trend, but it is what it is. Most people are not good in making profits in down trend markets. If you have skills then you may win within that also. But as of now, staying away from active trading is highly recommended.
759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical or fundamental analysis: what is the best choice? on: June 21, 2018, 08:11:42 AM
For me fundamental analysis is good for longterm investment. For short term feeling market emotions is more important. Knowing when there is panic peak etc - dont confuse it with TA.

TA:

TA worked years ago. Now majority of volume is made by bots and ai bots.
Most of TA indicators was made years ago for low variability stock market when you need to call your broker to made trade.
TA especialy dont work on market this small bacause even few mil used wisely by whale can push price +-50%

TA indicators investor is like trading bot but much slower, more stupid and susceptible for emotions and gambling. You become piggybank for those bots who will alwais be faster and better than you.
Right mate and that makes it extremely difficult to trade the market these days without having to make use of your tight stop loss even with the TA. I switched to TA and basically trend following without making a rush into the market based on how things have been lately and I feel that has helped a lot. However, it is not like trading the market without TA is still not possible, but one should always have it in the back of the mind that it just does not work every time.
760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need money... on: June 20, 2018, 06:27:43 PM
It is true, the market is in red at the moment but if you can get that money from somewhere else maybe a loan with a long repayment date with the hope that by then the market recovers.
Loan is not a good way to go in any situation unless he is going to be getting that loan from someone who can understand his predicaments and can wait for as long as he can repay. For now, there is an urgent need and it seems he simply will not really have much of a choice than to just see how things will work out. We sure do not know exactly when the market will have the possibility of recovering, but let's just hope pretty soon it does, but it is still a probability.

When we desperately need money, only saving kind of things will help us whereas loan nor friend also will be having some reasons for not working out. Bitcoin saving must be a savior here if you have direct bitcoin spending options or by having exchanger for instant converting them to local fiats.
