We'd love to share what has been happening at DogeCash in the background for the past weeks/months.

As you know, the primary purpose of the coin economics revision we had a few months ago was to define our path as a project and coin.

As it always has been our biggest dream, we're following and enforcing the path of creating platforms that offer excellent and valuable utilities to the ecosystem.

In that sense, we're happy to announce our active development in the following platforms:

'DogeCash Account': An account to rule them all.

This will be a simple wallet & staking/compounding interest pool that will power all our high-quality platforms and services. It will allow users to log in to all our platforms with the same DogeCash account, keeping all their balances available in the entire ecosystem.

'Literart.org':  the merge between the words literal and art, using a domain with a lot of history (First time registered in 2001!), will replace tips.dogecash.org.

We're switching from the Streaming niche to the creator's slot in general. Something more similar to Patreon (with still a lot of tools for Streamers).

Building awesome features as a browser extension to tip/subscribe to any website or creator on the internet, and connected to DogeCash Account, every tip, and subscription received by any creator will be automatically staking and compounding interest.

'Doge.so': You all know this project; The reason I joined DogeCash initially.

By posting fun memes, users will be able to earn coins powered by masternodes and staking.

A platform to highlight the vibrant of the millennial & z-gen generation integrated with crypto, and also our own crypto social network - with all the benefits that grants.

To help us achieve this, our team is growing.

We have been greatly accepted by the team over at Flits to have DogeCash now available to exchange on their giftcard section in app! Users from various regions will have access to purchasing giftcards supported by Flits's Provider. They support giftcards in over 32 countries! Users can now purchase from many different retails but for instance one big one is Amazon! Just one more reason to continue utilizing DogeCash, think about it. In order to purchase a giftcard with Bitcoin it requires its very high transaction fees. In the uncertain times of today the DogeCash team has decided to say, “fuck that.” We have decided we will not lay down, roll over and play dead. We are going to #DoGood and continue pushing our visions of DogeCash, and of cryptocurrency.

The team has completed our first campaign, to which enabled us to donate 18,000 Baht to Phangan Animal Care. 2,000 Baht was used to purchase food for the animals followed by cash deposit. This is the power of crypto, to easily crowdfund, to easily bring people together in the world - To simply do better things.

Saving hundreds of dogs, cats, lizards, pretty much all animals. The money is going to help buy medication and medical procedures for these animals. It’s amazing what we can do together!

The video was produced by one of the community members, @HighTimes, and flew all the way in to help us with this project. Daniel made arrangements to shuttle and hand deliver the food and cash. Without either of them neither of this would have been possible and we would like to thank the gracious Donors!!

We have completed our tally and consolidation of donations. Overall we say this was an amazing success! We raised approximately 655$ USD. That translates to roughly 20,500 Baht after setting aside what was raised over our goal to be for next donation mission and some development of the platform for this. We still need to check how much time it takes for us to complete ongoing campaign, and based on this data we can say approximately when our next event will take place.

What is next and where we are going ?

We want to automate all required steps as much as possible. We want to make everything transparent and easy to be understand. The main goal is our infinite donation generator, which will be based on cold staking mints. We want to make this process easy - stake any amount of coins and all generated mints from your staking amount will go to donation events automatically. We already have plan and road map for this platform for a long time and right now the graphical presentation is being revised, since we want to move from MN ( which was our original plan ) to cold staking, this move simplify everything and significantly decrease development time. ( I hope now our last HD wallet update makes more sense now ).

We at DogeCash would like to apologize since we haven’t been able to speak much lately, even in regard to Development. However, all systems are being monitored, maintained and everything is in perfect working order from our analysis. As one of us has been busy working and traveling around the world for the work I do, I have settled in a remote tropical island in Thailand, where my second home is. I have been coming here for more than 15 years and living in the jungle with some of my Thai friends. It may sound like paradise and most likely is, but there is still plenty of major problems the island faces, one of those is the stray animals. The Local Care Center for Animals was founded back in 2001 and before that there was absolutely no veterinarian support on the island. Since then this group has been working mostly 24/7 and taking care of every animal found on the streets, from dogs and cats to monitor lizards, monkeys and slow lorry. They are absolutely amazing, I have been helping them periodically throughout my visits to the island and they have helped me a great amount with my jungle dogs and cats ever since I came to the island.  The organization gets no government support, they exist solely off donations and the kindness of others. Recently, I asked them for some medicine to cure one local street dog, but I subsequently found out that the financial situation is quite dire. There is not enough medicament’s for the animals and barely any financial support at all.

Many of you may know of my dream for DogeCash network to turn into donations and animal care/support projects. We hope to help people too, but now I am focused on animals and will do my best to help them. James and I are working on a payment processor integration for the past few months and facing some issues that we should hopefully rectify shortly. For us to not lose any progress during these days of quiet development, I came up with this idea to make some real steps and provide support to those guys from Care For Animals.

Why did I choose this group as a donation candidate:

1- I have known them personally for more than 15 years.

2- They are working everyday and true volunteers, every person there is unpaid and whats given is for the animals.

3- I know the real situation on this island and see how their work impacts the whole ecosystem.

4- I am currently on the Island and will stay here to see through the completion of this project from start to finish.

5- I do not need any development support for this, I can take care of each stage of the process myself but anyone that can assist is more than welcome to.

What we will get in return:

2- I have filmed local animals with my phone to bring some small videos in the meantime. I already have some support from some of my friends who are doing similar types of projects right now, this will be combined in another small presentation here.

We're here for a quick update! Lately, we've been executing tasks and development in silence, but always check #dev-updates for activity - We're always up to something.

Wallet version 5.0.0

The team had prepped to do 4.1.0, but we figured lets get the new interface out and fix some of the bugs users have reported with segfaults/crashes. This will be a major update and it will have our new interface!

Besides development, we are glad to announce a listing approval from New Capital exchange (this is even for free!). Pairs should be listed once we get the new wallet version out. Thankfully, this will help those out who are stuck between marketplaces due to recent restrictions regarding KYC and deposits. This also helps you expand your trading ability.

Prodoge and DogeCash are still in talks about how we are going to work out our partnership. Once we have hammered out all the details we will be announcing to the community what is planned.

Since dogecoin is a bitcoin fork, we took ours a different direction going PoS/Masternodes for a more green friendly coin.

Although the team is always looking for more talent, we are currently 7 strong.
We have 3 developers on team. They are akshaynexus, Liquid369 and uchu. Our backgrounds are wide ranging. While akshaynexus has contributed to much larger coins and is a mobile wallet specialist. Uchu actually has his own company in which he does front end development. Hes been working for years and is extremely skilled and works beautifuly with our designer Luisnucg, who conceptializes and draws everything for us and uchu implements. Liquid369 is the current Project lead, and has a diverse background for development to which enables us to cover the spread with his abilities. Working for years as well in software development and backend security.

We have other team members that are security, server and web focused.

Akshaynexus is working extremely hard to bring us this first version for iOS. We would like to thank BreadWallet for the core and HODL for the UX. It is a simple wallet to start by supporting our new HD wallet BIP 39/44. This will make for much easier recovery of wallets on mobile devices.

Next round will be Android so stay tuned!

We would like to thank everyone who signed up during our SignalHub closed beta registration. In roughly 2 weeks we will be opening up the actual beta for SignalHub! Those that did sign up for the closed beta keep an eye out on your emails for your temporary login details for your special accounts. The team really needs all of you involved in the beta to ensure we bring the best product possible.

The next major wallet update will be coming out as well in the next 2 weeks. We’ve been working hard on some new stake protocol upgrades and bug fixes. With the help of PIVX and other developers we have made PoS much more secure and PIVX forks safer. The plan is to roll this out asap.

Lastly our web team is working hard in the background to upgrade and enhance our servers. Upon completion we can roll out those fancy tools I have blogged about previously. These upgrades are essential for the network to provide the DogeCash services and products.

We appreciate all the understanding while we work on this. It will provide us a strong foundation for our future. We plan on downtime for maintenance, but we will announce accordingly if need be.

Welcome Doges to our 2nd installment of our weekly developmental updates. We have a few exciting items to talk about!

HD Wallet is being added to our core code base. This is a BIP39/44 addition for creating a mnemonic seedphrase over a traditional password for your wallet.dat! Visit our Github https://github.com/dogecash/dogecash to see this and our other progress.

In addition to HD Wallets, we have added xPubKey and xPrivKey commands as well. These keys are for all used and unused addresses your wallet will hold moving forward. The commands will get you the keys in your RPC Console.

The Team is also working on bringing a light version of BitNodes, but it will feature similar to BitcoinCash's fork of BitNodes. Alongside BitNodes, we are looking into BitCluster. Both of these tools will bring us more information on our network size, and different statistics. Showing us who is running what versions of wallets and how the network is spread across the globe. Bringing to us also more indepth block information to be able to go through your coins easier.

Last, but surely not least is we are going to talk about SignalHub, for those of you just tuning in SignalHub is our first of many platforms in the DogeCash ecosystem. It is a non-traditional Signal Trading platform. Traders can post/sell Signals for users to purchase/subscribe from their Traders they follow. We will be supporting select coins during the beta process, and expanding it daily throughout and until we go live. As well as support for many exchanges to bring a robust amount of choices for Signals listing and purchasing. Traders should have all they need in one place and the users will have the information they need from the good Traders!
