Even 0.01 ZEC payout is pretty big, you'll feel it once you mine for some time. Roll Eyes

We, little miners, need a pool with not more than 0.001 ZEC payout.

Indeed, we should have a possibility to pay out at least a few times a day. Especially at the beginning.

Two nodes of the most secured ones, tf2honeybadger`s
I actually don't own either of those. I think they might be wzttide's nodes.

Sorry for the disinformation, yes it`s wzttide`s (I have looked through the thread). I adviced them because they have been working for me for the last three days without any problem. Maybe we should add them to the client as well, as wzttide is a trustable man.

What can they really do? Double spend CGA? Nobody has bought any yet.

issue is not that,

technical team of coin saying : 'two pools and some people didn't change wallet, that nodes are forking, this is a big technical issue'

and they refuse to get involved at exchange.

they're loosing community and producing a bigger 'technical issue', i'm trying to make them get it...

CGA is hitting an exchange, s4w3d0ff contacted with it, so now other issues has to be solved. no?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CGA] Cryptographic Anomaly - MANDATORY UPDATE - PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WALLETS! on: February 09, 2014, 01:15:31 PM
of course technical issues need to be solved before exchange.

but what is tecnical issue you talk this much?
other than 2 pools didn't change new wallet and they're forking..
solution is simple: mine at other pools and technical issue solved.

stop being lame and childish.
network hash dropped to 20 Mh.
if u continue this situation someone will come and %51 it.
and you'll find a broken coin left in your hands.

this coin only needs 1-2 good pool (not p2p)
advertise to grow, and exchange.

if a few more days pass i'm pretty sure that 20 Mh will drop to 3-5 Mh (Molitor  Grin )

Guys have a plan to stop forking at all (I mean like now), this is first.
We need to compile win wallet anytime.
It hasn`t dropped to 20, it`s stable around 40. and I agree we need to do it as fast as we can, like a few days.

If all devs were bound by the community, then you wouldn't have so many imbeciles devs sitting around changing variables and MS Painting logos so as to excrete their coin-of-the-week directly into the Cryptsy Clown Car, because the community is fed up with it. A ship needs a strong, thoughtful captain, otherwise it's adrift amongst the shoals. I would politely suggest than anyone who wishes to mutiny can fork off here: https://github.com/s4w3d0ff/cryptographicanomaly

Everyone likes to make money, but there's more to being a member of a community than bleeding it dry.

+1

-1

i really can't get what you understand from a 'coin'.
we're not here to be a member of some community.
we're here because we are trying to own -create- some coins of the currency some dev. created and all currencies needs exchange, otherwise they die as they have no real value.
I'm voting for more people to come own-create this currency, currency to grow.
you're voting for having more....more...all of them.
All i will say is good luck with your monopoly money if u want to do so.

We need to secure the chain, get rid of forks, be able to compile win wallet anytime we want in case of emergency upgrade (all technical problems we have now) and then hit the exchange. If something happens when there are many people in the community from the exchange, because this coin isn`t secure and trustable, it may end up sorely. it becomes a business, it never forgives a major mistakes.

I hate to see it go on an exchange so soon, because it will attract mining profiteers and squeeze out low hashrate players as the big guys can hedge between the top n profitable coins, whereas the little guys have no such option. I would suggest it more fair to keep it low profile for at least a little while where it can be accumulated by people who actually believe in the coin, rather than dumpsters.

If you feel it imperative to get on an exchange within -- what's it been? 10 days? -- just to put a valuation on it (or dump it), it indicates you don't have faith in the inherent value of the coin. I'm nearly certain this is not the case, as everyone involved seems sincere, but still, what is the argument for getting it on an exchange now instead of one month from now? The dev's energy should be focused on finalizing the algo and learning how to produce a Windows wallet in-house before they even consider an exchange.

If a new coin with tiny circulation hits an exchange, the buy/sell columns are going to be barren resulting in anemic volume. People are not going to think "Oooooh! Rare! Gimme!" they're going to think "deathspiral crapcoin." This isn't a coin like 42 where its whole schtick is simply being rare; people aren't going to come here an be mathed at, they're going to move on to something else.

Remember, when the Teeming Masses aren't bleating on about rarity, inflation, scamcoins, economics, and the frustration that Alts aren't take seriously, they're trading DOGE.

Take this criticism as "Tough Love."  Smiley

Amen

We should increase the amount of our believers through a greatness of conception.

pls help me with my wallet. I updated my wallet but it cannot sync - it looks like this: http://prntscr.com/2ql5ke . I had about 55 CGA previously, now it shows only 45. Sad what should I do? Thanks.

1. Backup your wallet.dat and Cryptographicanomaly.conf file (they are in there "C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Roaming\Cryptographicanomaly") and delete everything from that folder except for your wallet.dat and Cryptographicanomaly.conf
2. Use this nodes in conf file (work for me)
addnode=148.251.15.235
addnode=88.198.198.94
addnode=54.200.198.82
3. Redownload and reinstall the newest version of wallet.

should work
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CGA] Cryptographic Anomaly - MANDATORY UPDATE ON FEB 6th @ 20:00 GMT!!! on: February 06, 2014, 05:47:39 PM
I haven`t been getting any payments from p2pool for two hours, but cgminer seems to be working as usual, am I on the wrong chain or what?

Same from Anomalypool. Pool charts are down but haven't flatlined, so I should be getting something.

Sooo does this mean that the AnomalyPool has just decided to stop sending out coins as they're mined until the update?  Not meaning to come off harsh, but how can you even think about releasing a mandatory update in a couple hours if you don't have a windows wallet compiled yet?

All three P2Pool nodes including anomalypool pay out per P2Pool protocol, which is that a block found = instant payout. If you're not receiving anything even though you had a share in the payout (see the Payout or Graphs tab on any node) and a block was found, then you're on a different chain.. In that case, try restarting your wallet as described earlier in the thread (make a backup of the data directory, move it out of the way, copy your cryptograhpicanomaly.conf and wallet.dat, make sure you add the nodes from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=437950.msg4961802#msg4961802).

This did work for me. Shoulda thought of it before.  Roll Eyes

Thanks.

Did it the third time and it worked, odd.

Just to be sure I did all of it before posting and it didn`t help, repeated all this actions again a moment ago, still got nothing.

Yesterday cryptochomper decieved me with my coins for almost half a day because of that stuck thing and now again. wtf

I understand your worries, but we have no chance to make sure that cryptochomper is on the right chain. We already secured the chains around the p2pools, please use only the nodes you'll find in this thread. I'd also suggest to take the node of the p2pool you use as your first "addnode=..." line in your config. Unfortunately there is no way we can make sure that cryptochomper doesn't jump off the chain again.

I used the nodes from this thread and my p2pool node (148.251.15.235) was as the first one in the conf file. Only for the third time clearing the roaming data worked for me, so it`s ok now.

There are 5790+ blocks in my wallet, what consequences will I get? How to fix it? What node has the right chain?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CGA] Cryptographic Anomaly - UPDATE Postponed - Spread the word! on: February 04, 2014, 12:57:59 PM
Poolnetwork is just lagging, sooner or later you will get your coins, just like it was with mine. Payout will be proceeded when it has updated the stats, about 12 hours for me.
Unfortunately the stats were not right for me. I mined a few hours within their last "lag" but I got nothing added on my "unconfirmed"-balance.
I had the same problem and as I said I got my coins after 12 hours of lagging. One payout yesterday and one today, about 7-8 hours ago.

damn I was mining all day on poolnetwork. FAIL, I still have the same amount. Should I wait for the new wallet to withdraw? How do wallet updates work?
My stats is being updated right now, payout works as well.
