81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some projects which can grow bigger in the next few years on: September 22, 2022, 01:40:55 AM
It would take a great deal of patience and risk to hold on to any altcoin with the potential of the project growing bigger in the future. You'll recur that Bitcoin and ethereum did not get to their present position overnight. They went through the volatility of the market and in most of those cases, some holders sold out and others picked. No one is certain of anything in this space. Some projects that were believed to be blue chips due to the technology they possess ended up disappointing the investors while those that were seen to be mundane became better off.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's time for staking on: September 21, 2022, 01:42:27 AM
Famz is there anyway someone can early month staking a altcoin? I don't want the yearly ones APY right? I want monthly and also I will like or prefer to stake BTC or USDT or any top altcoins like XRP or BNB just to be on the safer side, the year we are in a bear market but I am in for the long term so I really don't care about market situation.

When it comes to staking of tokens like usdt, I would advise you use a credible and reliable platform. There are platforms that give very high returns but they pose a huge risk considering the fact that you're in for long term. Binance has shown over the years to be a credible exchange and I'll prefer you use a platform of that nature as they have very flexible duration ranging from daily to monthly, bi- monthly, and quarterly.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Triple Halvening of ethereum on: August 09, 2022, 06:11:06 PM
I came across a post on Twitter that suggests that ethereum would be going through some sort of Halvening just like bitcoin by next month. It has something to do with the finalization of movement to proof of stake as ethereum is said to be operating on the proof of work which is quite expensive. The proof of stake would bring about much reduced cost and as such less ethereum would be paid to miners daily which would reduce the selling pressure.

The bottom line is that the value of ethereum may increase substantially after the completion of this exercise.

You can go through the tweets to read up for yourself. It's a nice read.

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which use case or utility will lead in 2024 or next bull market on: August 09, 2022, 05:14:27 PM
It would be difficult to predict which would be the next big thing in the cryptocurrency space, Infact it could be something we never anticipated. The cryptocurrency industry is in a constant Flux and the rate of change is rapid. It's even possible that we have a revisit of deflationary tokens. This may seem strange but it's not impossible.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking forward to add exchange tokens to my portfolio on: August 09, 2022, 04:56:46 PM
What is the best exchange investment for a newbie? I am looking for an exchange either CEX or DEX token that's good for long term hold, I can only find BITGET and DODO, which one would you advice to go for?.. Already had BNB so no need to talk about BNB.

Since you already have bnb, why not include KCS that is kucoin shares, the exchange token for kucoin. You can also consider other exchange token like coinsbit, coinex, and Digifinex. These exchanges are not as popular as binance, but have great potentials for future increase in value.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bounty on: August 09, 2022, 04:28:42 PM
I heard that some bounties fail to pay participants at the end of work. Considering this senerio, how can one know which bounty is a good to participate in?

There are some indicators to consider when looking out for bounties to participate in. These may not guarantee that the bounty will be good, but it would help in choosing good projects or bounties to participate.

1. Sincere Bounty Manager - The bounty manager to a large extent determines whether you'll be wasting your time or getting rewards for your time and hardwork. Bounty managers go out of their way to ensure that they get a good project that will be beneficial to the bounty participants. In looking out for bounties, strive to work with bounty managers like cryptopreneurbrainboss, bounty detective, julerz12 etc. These are some of the bounty managers that are sincere and committed to the well-being of their bounty hunters.

2. ESCROW - Strive to check out if the reward for the project has been Escrowed. Some bounty rewards are Escrowed and as such would be paid by the bounty manager after the bounty has been completed. The bounties without the escrow tags are to be paid by the project developers and they may choose not to pay after the end of the bounty and there's really nothing anyone can do. Bounties without escrow are based on trust and we all know that trusts are easily broken.

3. BUDGET - Every bounty has a budget that is shared between the hunters that participated based on a stake system. The number of participants as well as the task carried out would determine the amount that would accrue to each hunter. The budget is shared between the different campaigns on an indicated percentage or ratio. So each campaign has a maximum budget and that should be considered when choosing the campaign based on the strength of your participating accounts.

4. DURATION - The time frame of the bounty should also be looked into when choosing a bounty to participate. When the time frame is too long, it implies that you have to work for the duration to be entitled to the reward. Some bounty strip out your reward when you fail to submit for two consecutive weeks. It's wise to juxtapose the duration with the reward to see if the payment is worth the duration.

5. TERMS AND CONDITIONS - There are several terms and conditions peculiar to each bounty and you need to mindful of it. Some bounty could require KYC as a requirement for reward, others could require that you have an exchange wallet to collect your reward. You need to be certain that these conditions are convenient for you before commencing the bounty.

These are a few of the indicators to have at the back of your mind when checking out if a bounty is suitable for you to participate.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to send busd from ethereum wallet on: August 09, 2022, 03:42:19 PM
I received BUSD into my ethereum wallet and on checking my wallet I found out that it was on Binance smart chain. I know ethereum wallet supports ERC20 tokens and I really don't understand how BSC token was sent into the wallet.

Please, I'll like to know how to move the BUSD out of the wallet and if I'll pay the gas fee with ethereum or BNB. I have the seed of the ethereum wallet. The ethereum wallet was opened from the defunct Imtoken wallet.

Your advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a Bsc address on: August 09, 2022, 03:27:10 PM
Even as most persons advised that metamask wallet should be used. It's wise to know that web wallet like metamask are easily compromised. You need to be mindful of the fact that your funds could be stolen when you download or click on phishing links. I have a personal experience of losing my funds from metamask to a wallet address housing several stolen funds. I'll advise you go with trust or Atomic wallet as it safer compared to metamask in my opinion.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: August 09, 2022, 02:58:12 PM
Investing in meme coin posses a higher level of risk, though the returns could be more when the market is bullish. I still believe that one could earn a lot from meme coin as that explains why I chose to hold some. The purpose is basically to gain from the market and take advantage of the imminent pump which could come anytime.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH could take over. on: August 09, 2022, 02:50:04 PM
The recent news on ethereum has been bringing various sentiments and people are taking it too emotional. We all know that ethereum is a great project and has an excellent usecase, but that doesn't make it any better than bitcoin. The information we have now is still unclear and several persons are taking advantage of the situation to spread unfathomable rumors. Let's be guided as we look forward to what ethereum has for the industry.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some projects which can grow bigger in the next few years on: August 09, 2022, 02:40:59 PM
I won't advice anyone to invest in new projects for long term with the hope of gaining x100 or more. Most new projects don't do well eventually. Infact there are only few altcoin that has been consistently growing over the years, most have lost their progress and development to the market forces. The best project that can guarantee returns in the long run is bitcoin, others are on probability at best.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will people finally abandon Tron? on: August 09, 2022, 02:24:44 PM
The Tron project no doubt has some weakness, but I personally love the fact that the transaction fee is the cheapest, especially for USDT transactions. The team really needs to work on the project development and marketing to boost the value as this may be responsible for the weakness. We rarely get projects using the tron smart contracts and that could be the reason why the value has been relatively stable over the years.

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: August 09, 2022, 12:00:05 AM
Knowledge of when to sell is personal to the trader as its your responsibility to decide the amount of profit or loss you're willing to take or bear. The great part of the market is freedom and decentralisation. This gives access to ever individual irrespective of their location or tribe.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most trusted stable coin currently (in your opinion)? on: August 08, 2022, 11:50:18 PM
When it comes to stablecoin, I'm personally more comfortable with USDT, probably because it has support from different blockchain and as they said old habits die hard. I've found myself going back to use either USDT or busd. From the information on CoinMarketCap, USDT tends to have a higher capitalisation than other stable coin and that could be because of the trust it has earned from several users of the stable coin.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: August 08, 2022, 08:32:33 AM
Everybody knows that Dogecoin was created as a joke, but now it is worth real money. Do you think it is real to earn on it or it's all a big bubble?

Dogecoin no doubt was created as a joke, but it turned out differently as Elon musk got involved in the hype and influenced the massive pump. We could say it was a bubble, but that's not a certainty. I still hold dogecoin, though it's because I can't afford to sell at a loss. But I feel we could experience another pump during the next bull run.
