Russia will occupy the Crimea indefinitely. and the winner is BTC  russian rubel will tumbel russian money changer probally wont have enough $$ for their costumer... alternative btc same in .ua... their money is probally nearly worthless by now... would it be a stock it would be a penny stock... Your prediction seems to become true - ruble is crashing and today Russian corporations's stocks have dropped. U.S. with the help of other countries is going to suppress Russia. Btw this thread thank to 247crypto looks like PROPAGANDA. I can clear see what you (247crypto) are on the Putin's side. That's not cool. No one in the world is able to interfere in the affairs of another interfere in the affairs of state country.And though Crimea was a part of Russian (or whatever Russia was in that time) it doesn't give Russia right to interfere in Crimea-Ukraine conflict. And it has been mentioned - we shouldn't forget about the Tatars - they do live in Crimea. Considering this fact your maps looks like fake ones. That's actually because you've got them from Russian sources. That's not news that Russia as every other country has its own history - I mean history of one country is differ from another one. That's because history is a story of people living on some territory and as every story is it subjective. |

I hope he is not already on the crypto kill lists lol  hehe perhaps not yet - if he would be on it till now he would be eating worms. Right now I don't envy Mark Karpeles as I am sure if he isn't on the kill crypto list at least he is already on mtgox's clients's blacklist |

How does Armory try to solve the problem of transaction malleability? I've heard that Bitcoin-qt have solved it (I may be wrong)

To clarify, from the linked thread: be careful with subsequent transactions and automatic payments made with Electrum for now.
Man thats kind of scary, should i switch to bitcoin qt and send all of my btc from my electrum to the new bitcoin wallet ? All bitcoin clients are affected by the bug. All you have to do is wait for confirmation after you've made a transaction before you make another transaction. That's true, every client sometimes face to this problem and this is the best recommendation I've heard |

Sorry to hear that! That's so sad but that's not the reason not to trust bitcoin community as it was MtGox false you've lost your money and MtGox is just a part of Bitcoin.

Are you implying there are no experts in the field of Bitcoin? I certainly think there are, but 99% of the people on this board are not them. Who are the experts then? And what does it mean to be an expert? Good luck in both of those questions! Maybe the quotation is true cause true experts just don't share with their knowledges they use it to make money that's why the experts who we are listening to are not the good ones. |

This is well known to those of us that frequent the forum. The answer to your question is we don't know. I can speculate though: In my experience most bitcoin owners don't frequent this forum and things that are common knowledge here are alien to them. So these were the people trading on Mt. Gox. Proof of this is the fact that the MSM had been quoting Gox prices up until the latest crisis. Even the fact that fiat withdrawals were blocked for months didn't filter through to them. That's really interesting observation about the relationship between the fact that most bitcoiners don't frequent this forum and their willing to make a deal with MtGox. |
