5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to change a signed transaction's version and sign again and broadcast? on: February 21, 2021, 09:59:32 AM
The following transaction is made by an atomic swap wallet and the tx version is 2. This would work if it was for Bitcoin but it's for an altcoin with older code base where tx version is 1. Is it possible to change the version and sign again and broadcast? I tried changing the first bit from 02 to 01 and signed again but got an error. The transaction is trying to spend a BIP65 input and I don't have the redeem script for the script hash so I have no idea how to make it from scratch. Otherwise making it from scratch would do the trick too. Please HELP!

The coin is known as SwiftCash and its core is pretty much a fork of the older versions of Bitcoin.

This is the decoded version of the transaction:

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Lotteries & HODL Deposits - SwiftCash [POS] [SWIFT] on: December 22, 2020, 09:15:05 AM
interesting stuff. I wonder how the decentralized lottery works tho?

The same way everything else works! If you mean how the winners are picked, they are picked based on a future block hash which is randomly generated by Miners who are competing with each other so it's as random as it gets! Sorry for the late reply. I don't check this thread very often.

Maybe time to revive the interest here as when I checked the price in crex, still going down. Opposite of what is happening in btc and other top alts. Is your lottery business doing good in terms of revenue? Just want to see if decentralized lottery can still attract players. Because I have seen lottery sites in the gambling board, and it seems they can't keep players in the long run.

The lottery revenue is a bonus revenue for miners and the lotteries are not the main advantage of SwiftCash. The main advantage of SwiftCash is HODL deposits. 12-Month deposits will always yield more than the blockchain's inflation. That makes $SWIFT a true store of value for long-term investors. Price can easily go up and down when there's little liquidity. The same was true about Bitcoin in its early years. That's why the wisest thing to do is to dollar cost average. The low price is a buying opportunity if you ask me. It doesn't take much to pump this coin. Its market cap is only $100,000-$200,000 here. That's the annual salary of a senior developer these days. Bitcoin has been around for 12+ years and is on all exchanges, known by even main street and promoted by even mainstream media and Big Tech. You can't compare that with SwiftCash in any way. The number of people on earth who have heard about SwiftCash is most likely below 100,000.

Or maybe below 100k people.  Tongue Anyway, is it attractive to hodl deposits here for about a year? If an investor will see the current value in the market, I don't think that's very encouraging. I'm just being practical here. If you are an investor and see the numbers here, I don't think you will be interested to shell out your money for long-term. One year in crypto is already a long one. So many things will happen in this market. Hopefully, you can attract users to trust their funds for that time period.

An investor doesn't have to HODL for 12 months. Can do a 1 month deposit. Or stake without any lock. The return will be lower obviously as it should be. To each their own.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The ability to easily MINE up to 80% of the Block Rewards OFFLINE [SwiftCash] on: September 14, 2020, 11:44:36 PM
Many may have missed the announcement for SwiftCash launch because initially it wasn't as cool as it is now. Under the v3.x major HF release, everyone has the ability to mine up to 80% of the block rewards offline with almost zero effort in a click of a button. Of course this type of mining is based on the Proof-of-Stake and Proof-of-HODL concepts. You need to have some coins first. Then you need to pledge to HODL your coins for 12 months in order to get the best rate. You can pledge to HODL for 1 month too. The HODL period can be 1-12 months incrementing by 1 month at a time. Let me paste the details of this thing from the whitepaper. But before I do, it's noteworthy to mention that right now as I'm writing this, it's been almost six months since v3.x has launched successfully and as of now about 45% of  the supply is in HODL mode, which means cannot be sold in the market and is waiting to mature - most of it is in HODL12 mode and has at least six months to go. You can check this information under the "Inflation" tab on the explorer. With that said, let's tap into the details of the Proof-of-HODL concept from the SwiftCash whitepaper.

HODL/Term Deposits & Rewards
HODL deposits immitate term deposits in the traditional banking systems, however unlike traditional term deposits, HODL deposits are not lent to any bank, government, centralized authority or individual, but are rather locked in the blockchain and made unspendable for a set period of time. This action reduces the available supply in circulation for the set time and should therefore, technically, boost the value of the coins that are available for sale during that time. It also shows long-term faith in the blockchain, which can further increase the value of all coins, both in the long-term and in the short-term.

HODL rewards are paid instantly to the locked deposit and they cannot be spent until the deposit reaches maturity. The best annual rate is paid to 12-month deposits which is calculated by the block rewards during that period divided by 80% of the total supply at the time the HODL deposit is made. The annual rate for HODL deposits that lock less than 12 months is penalized 7% for each month less. If for example, the best annual rate is 50% for a 12-month deposit, it will be 46.5% for an 11-month deposit and 43% for a 10-month deposit, and so on. There is no minimum requirement for creating a HODL deposit, but HODL deposit transactions cost 0.1 SWIFT.

If you have any questions, let me know. It's all pretty straight forward.

You can now mine #SwiftCash $SWIFT on Telegram on a daily basis without any special requirement. To kick start things you need a referral id. The commission rate is 50%! You can refer your friends and receive 50% of what they mine! Referral id: 67844586 #Bitcoin

Lol 50% of what they make through hard work is absorbed by a referrer guy? Are you sure this is exactly the model everyone will be happy with? I have a long tail of historic records as a proof of me being a harsh beater and a defyer of unfairness which is the category of human conduct u fall in, judging by ur merits.

"Hard work" Yeah because clicking a link on Telegram once a day is hard work lol. I beg to differ. Hard work is referring others and helping the network grow. Not just taking free money from the network like a scrounger Wink

Here you go:

https://gz.blockchair.com/bitcoin/addresses/
https://gz.blockchair.com/dogecoin/addresses/
https://gz.blockchair.com/litecoin/addresses/

The files are in TSV format, but you should be able to open them using MS Excel and convert them to CSV.

There is also a speed limit for dowloading (10KB/s), so if you want to lift it, you will have to contact them (as they explained here).

Oh wow man thank you so much! I sent you a merit for that gem  Shocked

What will the team do to increase the SWIFT coin trading volume? because I see the SWIFT token trading volume is very low.

Which one do you prefer? Low but legit or high but fake? Having said that, there is no "team" behind SwiftCash. And no one I know who's voluntarily involved including myself, is interested in artificially pumping the volume.

I saw you messaged on this topic already.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5138786.0

It's indicated in the first post that the file is in CSV. I don't know why you still asked though. Maybe you could use his method as well in determining LTC and DOGE. Maybe ask how he had done it and assist you in making one?

But he doesn't have the link to the csv file. He has a link to the website which has lots of pages.

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get such a list without downloading the wallets and syncing the blockchain and doing all the other nasty shit that explorer admins usually have to do?

Is there a way to download all the pages at once in a .txt or .csv format?

Also, is there an equivalent of this for Litecoin and Dogecoin?
