1  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Passive income - Earn satoshis with CPU mining on: September 02, 2017, 02:31:38 PM
Are we talking 100-200k if I were to run it 24/7? Because that wouldn't even cover electricity even if it was idle.

with good CPU it is possible

i am running at workplace 3 virtual servers and running my app on them Smiley  so the electricity is for free..
last month i produced 432k satoshis on these 3x4 CPU servers
432K satoshi in month at workplace on 3 CPU with free electricity = mining from home will produce 144K(6$) satoshi on 1 CPU and burn how much electricity? Can you cover electricity with 6$ for whole month?
It's better to build gpu rig and mine ether or something.
For me, that would be 5.69€ income and 10.34€ for the electricity, which would mean that I lose 4.65€ monthly. Calculating with 300W constant usage, which I think is realistic.

The fact that somebody else pays for electricity that you burn doesn't make it free. You would make more by renting that performance to make something more productive. Like the others said, waste of time and especially electricity.

so what are the plans for this coin?

+1

We need to get this coin growing a little. Any ideas?

Getting a C&D from Nintendo is certainly going to be a great start. Guess people never learn...

"created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1996"

I'm sure the creator won't mind Smiley
Pokemon in Japan is more popular than ever. So yeah, he and Nintendo (and GameFreak) will surely mind. There is also no way of accepting trademarked name and character on serious exchanges.
