Sada planiramo nesto vece.

2  Economy / Services / 7 Automations You Have To Have To Save Your Business In 2020 on: March 16, 2020, 05:16:23 PM
Automation saves businesses. It is no longer the promise of increasing wealth, decreasing costs, and thicker profit margins. As competitors already implemented automation, it is about the survival of the fittest.

Who would want to bankrupt his own company? That's crazy.

To ensure you have a competitive edge on the market, below are the seven key marketing automations your business has to have to survive.

1. Nurturing sequences with quality reading materials

Your competitors found a way to send email sequences made of thematic email streams & social media content that arises the right feelings with their audiences. In traditional advertising, there was the rule of 14-touches or the need to repeat a message 14 times in order for it to be understood and perhaps even remembered.

In digital marketing, it’s not so much different.

If you want to reach the 14th number of ad exposure manually, you would have to squander a huge amount of resources and close your shop as you wouldn't be able to afford it. That is why you have to automate or you will never be ‘top of mind’ for the consumers that matter. They will remember your competitors more.

Nurturing can be done in many ways and forms, not just by email. So be wary of the channels and messaging you choose not to alienate your clients with too much of any channel and any message. Find your balance. After you identify your balance don't stop there. But, adjust it to the evolving markets, channels, and clients.

2. Autoresponders that are meaningful and add value

Repeat after me, “Ninety percent of what your clients may ask from your business is repeated’. Having to repeat the same messaging is time-consuming and lowers work satisfaction. It creates depression.

There are some people who even commit suicides because they have to repeat the same things over and over again. This's not a joke.

You would be saving lives and business if you find the right questions to answer whenever a new contact sends an email to any of your public addresses. For instance:

The main autoresponder messages for your info@yourbusiness.com
The main autoresponder message for Privacy Policy at privacy@...
The main autoresponder message for your customer service cs@..etc.

You've got the idea.

CRM workflows and triggers

Having your sales CRM crew aligned with your marketing crew is one of the main talking points in today’s business. With automation this gets easier. As automated communication sequences across multiple channels get embedded in your organization, triggering such a sequence to a qualified contact or a lead should come with a push of a button or even without any buttons It can be 100% automated.

Furthermore, you can today watch what happens to each email or SMS or phone call right from your CRM dashboard and add automated decision-making trees for each of the action recipients undertake.

4. Event triggers

The automated sequences can be activated also when there is no manual work to classify them in the CRM or elsewhere. You can trigger sequences whenever an event happens. Examples:

1. Congratulate birthdays and other special events
2. A user interacts with a specific page or sends an email with specific keywords inside
3. You could score the communication touch-points and qualify users who are most or least active and send automate workflows etc.
4. Win-back sequences of past clients who haven’t been active for a certain period of time, etc.

It is important to have the event triggers properly attributed not to send too many emails to people that are NOT relevant to them.

No matter the communication medium or the message, make sure that all your touches are meaningful for your targeted audience and add value for them, not just for yourself.

5. Lead sourcing automation

This is the most overlooked marketing automation element by 95% of marketing automation consultants. Sometimes you have to ‘automate’ living people too, but this is not what is meant here. Outside of the normal lead harvesting processes established at post-revenue organizations the lead sourcing automation pertains to the sample processes below but not limited to them:

  • Strategic tools that harvest leads automatically based on consumer behaviors online and offline.
Lead harvesting snippets that show you who visited your websites based on their corporate domains.
Integration with social media so that everyone who likes or shares or comments on the corporate post enters a lead qualification channel if they didn’t before.
Integration with branded chatbots that streamline data directly into the CRM and its funnels.

Here I would also add a potential for lead scoring automation, where ‘rough leads’ gathered with these processes are automatically scored and then put into the CRM funnels only if they can be promoted into a ‘sales qualified lead’ SQL.

6. Chatbots with a nice brand

You want to be able to serve people at each touchpoint in a way that is profitable and creates loyal clients. Branded chatbots are the answer to streamline the communication processes throughout the organizations while enhancing consumer loyalty and brand recognition.

Chatbots can send images, songs, and even videos from your customer service representatives.

They can customize messages to fit the recipient or even use natural language programming (NLP) to respond that learns from all your past interactions with your client base.

If you are a large organization with a lot of data from real customer service representatives, NLP would be a blast to have and relatively easy to be set up by any serious marketing automation consultant.

7. Automated reminders

Business is rarely about the superior intelligence and the creative genius of a few marketing consultants. It is about the hard and smart work every day that requires consistency and just being there caring about employees and clients.

This 'seventh element' is something everyone can set up themselves with a simple Google Calendar reminder that repeats at certain days or dates.

Quarterly reports preparation dates
Birthdays of key employees or clients
Tax and important investor calls’ reminders
Crucial initiatives’ weekly meetings
Business strategizing monthly meetings, etc.

So, you have to have the right approach that will outlive the marketing consultant hired to help your business thrive. And you probably already have the determination, resilience, and the vision to grow your business to ever-higher levels. That’s why most will read this article to its end.

But if you can still not afford an external marketing automation consultant to help your executives and yourself set up your marketing automation, it probably means you may lack the 7th element from the list above.

So do acquire it.

Or, if you already have the 7th, do inquire today how AVR can help you automate and streamline your marketing work.
3  Economy / Digital goods / Another Excerpt: The Brief & Hidden History Of Inbound Marketing on: March 16, 2020, 05:08:18 PM
This is an edited part of the AVR's book 'One To Three', available on Amazon.
-
What is Inbound Marketing? If you can answer this question in your sleep, then it is best to skip the intro. As initially, I want to say what Inbound isn’t. Inbound isn’t about paid ads. Inbound isn’t comprised of cold calling, or by featuring yourself on Forbes. Inbound is when leads come to you without you buying ads, calling people on the phone, cold emailing, or by paying sponsored content. You do Inbound by optimizing traffic, improving conversion rates, automating leads’ nurturing, etc.

The One to Three Initiative, or ‘123’, serves to focus your efforts to turn 'one lead into three' or increase the flow of leads in general. And we know how expensive leads can get so this would save 2/3 of the marketing budget in the best-case scenario. Wouldn’t you be a hero if you manage to pull something similar off and perhaps even get a bigger check? Now, let’s touch upon the history of ‘Inbound Marketing’. Have you heard of HubSpot? HubSpot is a marketing business that provides services of managing client relationships, sending them messages, and enabling tracking their journey throughout your business. They needed a way to explain what they do. So, they started using ‘inbound marketing’ to explain it simply & easily. This is how the ‘Inbound marketing’ started to spread from a PR/marketing ploy of a company to an industry trendsetter. And it happened just recently, so welcome to history. It started with a digital PR strategy and it ended with the digital PR strategy.  Now, Inbound is mostly about earned, unpaid digital PR that spreads with word of mouth. Initially, Inbound was limited to client relationship management (CRM), user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) optimization.  This included search engine optimization (SEO), social media posting, and some blogging usually on your website. Later this grew to be considered only the starting point to what that killer one-liner “Inbound’ evolved to mean.  Today, inbound marketing is mostly about the seamless integration of everything above with everything below into stellar initiatives that provide measurable results:

• Earned digital PR and influencers/blogs
• Automation and reducing costs
• Optimizing clients’ journeys and conversions
• Optimizing client’s funnels and closing rates

It seems that other platforms have overtaken HubSpot by a large margin in revenues and market share. Think of Salesforce, OracleCRM, SugarCRM, and Zoho One as salient examples.  However, we must give kudos to their PR and educational efforts.
Picture

Thank you, HubSpot!

Like the political system is a bucket placed upside down on a stream of water, never capturing the whole of it, any categorization misses fine details and the whole realm of marketing. However, we would be using the Inbound/Outbound marketing categorization onward for having some structure and clarity for people thinking in systems and systematically.

4  Economy / Digital goods / New Amazon Kindle Book Turn 'One Lead Into Three' on: March 13, 2020, 03:07:09 PM
Book Excerpt: How To 'Turn One Lead Into Three' Thinking Case Study

Below is a short excerpt from the pre-published draft of AVR's book available on Amazon 'One To Three'. It shows how companies could use social utility to get more people referring to them. It provides the methods, the tools, and the type of thinking behind such an endeavor condensed in a succinct and actionable way. You could get the eBook on Amazon https://www.iseemark.com/uploads/2/1/9/9/21990734/published/51ysu1ai0vl.jpg?1583358196:

Below I show how a low-cost travel agency organization offering tour packages to Nepal might approach this issue. The data is anonymized to preserve client confidentiality and this should be taken only as an example of the thinking required behind the process.

First and foremost, the segments and consumer profiles were defined. It turned out there are four types of clients who undertake these tours depending on their main motives. Segments were labeled mostly with women's names as women were the key clients. They were also behind the decision-making that imbued the purchase. Not only as users but also as mothers. Below are the key segments.

Three female and one male segment. Sarah, Johan, Simon, and Anna Maria. Sarah is the daughter of people with strong religious roots who were motivated by the common good and preserving the vibe they felt to be right. They send their children abroad to feel grateful and humbler in their daily affairs while preparing for a better and more fulfilled motherhood.

This segment made of Sarahs is mostly motivated by the realization and human relationship building with decent people during the volunteering activities and afterward. The second segment is 'Johan' who is the Scandinavian/German feminist unrestrained by nature, traveling to educate or empower herself and others. The main motive for Johan is to get bullet points for her resume. This action of purchasing was mostly driven by public perceptions, career safety, and recognition.  The third segment was comprised of 'Anna Marias' which is a Latin American or Mediterranean woman who travels and makes decisions spontaneously motivated mostly by the realization and the need to give value unaffiliated to any pious organizations but sometimes affiliated with secular charities. Simon is the college fun-loving guy who wants to go somewhere and have some fun. He doesn’t care so much about sharing Instagram photos, but he does enjoy the nice company of likeminded people and especially those of the opposite gender. He wants more recognition and relationships.

So, we have four segments from which three share the recognition as the main motive, while one where public perceptions define the decision-making process. Once the main motivating factors were uncovered and personas were attached to the segments divided in the CRM/mailing lists/tags, it was easy to develop distinct incentive structures to target each of the segments with tailored referral social utility. This social utility would make sure they spread the word about the unique Nepal travel experience. The segments were mapped based on their needs, common gathering places where they share information, and what type of incentive themes would motivate them the most to share and refer.

Get the full article with the images and the segment descriptions here (unable to post here):
https://www.iseemark.com/insights/book-excerpt-how-to-turn-one-lead-into-three

This type of profiling would help you better understand your audiences and increase your number of leads over time, organically.

The digital currency/asset market, especially Bitcoin is gaining wider attention. Even though places to exchange fiat for cryptocurrencies are growing in numbers there are only a few of them that are reliable. A much faster means to reach mass adoption has come from somewhere else. The perfect use cases are “airdrops” and “coins for actions programs”.

“Slipping money into someone’s pocket is a powerful way to get their attention.”

Spencer Bogart, a partner at San Francisco-based Blockchain Capital

Not only these programs give the potential to earn “free” money for the end-users but also gives them the opportunity to test and learn about the underlying ecosystem technology powering the token. Isn’t that the way all this Bitcoin mania began? A small group of people transferring bitcoin to each other, experimenting with the concept of transferring borderless money in few minutes. Let’s remember that not only cryptos fluctuate in value like financial assets, but unlike financial assets, they can be used to enable digital ecosystems in this way they are usable or utile!

I am sharing a list of pioneers that support the idea that mass adoption will come from a combination of education, gamification and rewards. Please share your thoughts and opinions and complete the list with the other initiatives that aren't listed here.
