1801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency or start my business? on: November 28, 2022, 01:14:41 PM
if to invest in cryptocurrencies or to establish my business.
Both of these activities have risks, different levels of risk, you must have the expertise and master the business that you want to run, that's very important, crypto investment is the same way you have to really understand the type of crypto you want to invest in and also the state of the crypto market, the two activities you want to do have different work and different benefits, that's for sure.

Just a suggestion, you can do both of these activities, run your business and make your investment, where you are doing your activities in business, of course the investment is also not hampered to do.

1802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 27, 2022, 03:59:34 PM
Belgium just a pale shadow of team it used to be. I won't be surprized if they don't qualify from the group and leave this World Cup.
Morocco vs. Croatia tied to the result (0-0), we will see again the results for group F croatia vs. Canada, can Croatia score a goal or canada score a goal, what is clear is that Belgium is returning home, but if Croatia wins, of course they will face Morocco in the round of 16, and vice versa, Canada, considering that the two national teams have not managed to score goals in the 2022 world cup this time.

Points while Croatia is ahead of Canada, Belgium beat Canada (1-0) 24/11/22 yesterday, but I'm sure Croatia will meet a Moroccan team in the future who qualified for group F in this world cup.

We all understand that the match between Spain and Germany will be really great. Although Spain is a much better team than Germany, there is no option to underestimate Germany. This year's World Cup games are very different. In terms of which Spain can be defeated by Germany.
Spain has beaten Costa Rica (7-0), the most points, Germany lost to the Japanese team (1-2), points and slim chance for Germany, tomorrow if Spain can beat Germany, Of course Spain automatically qualify for the next round, but I have a hunch Spain can qualify for the round of 16.
1803  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think that we will see 13500 Dollars In 2022 on: November 27, 2022, 02:39:34 PM
So what are your speculations and I will be more curious to know about this.
The current crypto market is very much different compared to two or five years ago, maybe predictions & speculations could be used as a reference in the crypto market, although not 100% accurate, but it's close, that's the basic point, but not now or at this time, many fake crypto experts are speculating on the crypto market which is misleading at the moment, not a few investors have suffered losses, if they are guided by speculation & predictions of the current crypto market.

But it's good, if you speculate on the crypto market yourself at this time, based on experience that has happened, I think it's good now to speculate based on our own conscience.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: November 27, 2022, 02:07:05 PM
This kind of gambling is always fun because these animals fights in the circle of human, have you been involved in this kind of animal gambling or have you watched such game before. Can such game be in the casino?
Gambling on chickens, sheep, buffalo, crickets and so on, this is a traditional type of game/gambling, not all countries are legal for this gambling, many Muslim-majority countries prohibit this type of betting, if caught they will have to deal with law enforcement, even so there are some areas where this type of animal gambling is a tradition passed down from their ancestors.

Sometimes, like gambling on sheep, buffalo, chickens and so on, there is an attractive power to show to tourists, both local and international, depending on the situation and gambling laws in that country.

But if this type of gambling is implemented and included in an online casino site, why not, all of that can be done depending on the features and system of the online casino in implementing games such as gambling on chickens, sheep and so on, as casino gambling on dogs, horses etc.
1805  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Which tax calculator is better for Sweden, Divly or Koinly? on: November 26, 2022, 02:24:05 PM
I want to make sure I'm ready once tax season arrives. I was wondering if anyone has used either Divly or Koinly before? How did it go? Did you have any problems with the tax calculations?
I haven't used either of them, but I've read and seen both of these crypto tax software websites.
but if you are unsure about calculating and using the two websites, maybe you can see Compare Koinly vs Divly, advantages and disadvantages and also the law.

From other places I found that the most widely used is Koinly, as discussed here: Crypto tax reports in under 20 minutes, after you see the information, now you can draw conclusions for both, which one is the most appropriate for you to use to calculate your crypto tax.

Fourth: Permanent ban

Your first ban is your first warning. If you have to be banned for a fourth time it is permanent and you will no longer be allowed to participate on the forum under any accounts. Note: If you are banned on one account then you are not allowed to post under any accounts you own for the duration of your ban. The only exception to this rule is Meta where you can discuss the circumstances of your ban if you wish to do so but anywhere outside of that sub will be considered ban evasion and will get your ban doubled, but it is generally best to just patiently wait out your ban and improve your posts on return and hopefully no further bans will be needed.
1807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 25, 2022, 02:35:04 PM

My friend lost again in the bet today, he didn't imagine Wales could be beaten by Iran 2-0, my friend took a betting comparison between England vs. Iran was the guide yesterday (6-2), he thinks that today Wales can beat Iran with a score of 2-1, 1 for Iran, it turns out that today at the Qatar stadium Iran excelled, my friend had to give up $$$, it's really sad to bet on the 2022 world cup this time, many European football clubs do not match the expectations of betting bettors, on average European clubs fall in the first standings by Asian clubs, different from the world cup a few years ago.

I don't know what will happen next, only Qatar has bad luck in the world cup league this time, Senegal is 2-0 up for a while in 70' minutes, Qatar is unlikely to rise.

ooooh, Qatar managed to get back 1 goal, progress, while 1-2, rose again, 1-3 ahead of Senegal.
1808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What could have Satoshi faced if he made himself known from the beginning on: November 25, 2022, 02:10:15 PM
What could have been his fate if he made himself known from the beginning?
If Satoshi has been known from the beginning or the public knows about the real Satoshi, from the first time Bitcoin was introduced until now, I believe Bitcoin is not as expensive and not as great as it is now, many people want to drop him after knowing all the secrets, about the creation of digital currency technology and Bitcoin.

You can take an example to the creators of Ethereum and BNB, how they are now, that's how Satoshi are today.

And later after Bitcoin is recognized?
Bitcoin is recognized by all elements including the government, it's just that they pretend not to recognize it and prestige, because Satoshi is smarter than them, all the leaders in this world do not want there to be people smarter than them, most likely killed or in prison for violations, based on their understanding.

For me it's better that Satoshi has never been discovered and known, that way crypto users are safer and calmer doing something about Bitcoin, without submitting to the government and so on.
1809  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Did CoinCloud scam me? on: November 24, 2022, 03:28:43 PM
Still, I'm disappointed that they think a blockchain-confirmed transaction "expired"…
I have read and seen the same case one month ago about CoinCloud ATM scamming crypto users out there, but that incident has passed 5 years, to be exact i read on Reddit @TheGreatElector.
Proof:
Beware of CoinCloud ATMs for Bitcoin!
Quote
So here is my advice, if you happen to be near a Coin Cloud ATM, don't. Don't purchase from a Coin Cloud ATM, hell if you need to use cash go and buy a visa gift card and purchase BTC online or any other atm than CoinCloud so that you don’t get robbed.

At that time I checked this forum, there were no accusations and those who used CoinCloud ATMs, so I didn't think to warn members in this forum, don't use CoinCloud ATMs, uh apparently today I saw @Geremia being a victim of CoinCloud ATMs.

But I tried to check the other reviews, indeed the CoinCloud ATM has lots of negative reviews, I think @Geremia is the umpteenth victim from CoinCloud, maybe in the future don't use CoinCloud ATM anymore, what happened can be a lesson for your to be more careful in the future, while shopping exchanging fiat for crypto.
1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Avoiding exchange flat rate withdrawal fee on Bitcoin when sending in Casino on: November 24, 2022, 02:34:06 PM
I usually purchase crypto using fiat on exchange.
It's the safest way, after you do everything / buy crypto, for example Bitcoin on the exchange, then you transfer it to the casino, you are safe.

As far as I can remember casino gambling sites can receive and send Bitcoin from casino A to casino B, if the two casinos have ever made a transfer because casino B's address is recorded at casino A and vice versa, still, such a method, if you do is not safe.

Reason: sometimes online casinos often change Bitcoin addresses without notifying their users.so if you don't check in detail whether casino B is still using the first address you registered or has been replaced with a new address, it's clear that your Bitcoin risk will disappear.

My advice: never send Bitcoin from casino A to casino B, it is high risk, use a wallet or an exchange, even if it costs more, you are safer doing it.
1811  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi guys, I'm new here on: November 24, 2022, 10:39:09 AM
I come here with a lot of questions and I really do hope you guys would be able to help me out thank you.
I saw one of your posts, you are from Nigeria in the Abia section, to make it easier for you to discuss and know more about Bitcoin/digital currency of course you can visit this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5121680.0, that thread will make it easy for you to know everything about cryptocurrency sure you have visited it.

I know several members in this forum who are from Nigeria, they quickly master crypto/Bitcoin, of course they communicate and learn well, maybe with members in your local area.

I'm sure that in this forum there are many members from Abia, whom you can contact and sit down to discuss crypto face to face, I think if you do something like that it will be easy for you and fast to understand everything related to the Bitcointalk forum and digital currencies like Bitcoin, maybe that's the most perfect way.
1812  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cathie wood says 1 btc $1m by 2030 how possible? on: November 24, 2022, 10:15:45 AM
Note this is not a financial advise, I just posted here for funny and to see how people thinks about bitcoin within 7 to 8 years to come just Cathie did.
I'm just quoting @cathiewood who said "he thinks" that, if explained would be very long.
• It could be....
• It might... or might happen....
• or he who speculates...predictions About the price of Bitcoin 2030.

At least people are aware, Bitcoin is based on the trust and beliefs of its users, about prices and other actions if they want to do so.

There is the funniest in other sources, what is said by: Cathie Wood still sees bitcoin hitting $1 million by 2030 as the current crisis will have the token ‘coming out of this smelling like a rose’, even though Cathie Wood predicts, but I am one of those people who do not believe in fantasy or predictions, in case, what is predicted may not necessarily happen and it could be a possibility.

From other sources I also found other people who say Bitcoin ($BTC) Price Could Top $1 Million by 2030, Says Yassine Elmandjra, It seems that it's not just Cathie Wood who says the 2030 Bitcoin price is $1 million, I don't know hopefully what they say can happen, but I'm not sure it is.
1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 23, 2022, 03:03:42 PM
How do you think online casinos and sports betting platforms are adjusting to manage the situation?
In my understanding, the online casino business industry is different from other businesses in general, I mean buying/selling business or secondary and primary needs business.

Organizing or managing an online gambling business has no effect on the bad world economy, the gambling business adapts from its visitors, the more visitors and risks its assets and the greater the profits, Online casino sites do not make sales, as other businesses do, if sales are not achieved with certain targets there are cuts and reductions in staff and so on.

As far as I know the gambling business there are two items and categories of online casinos maintaining, growing and collapsing, namely: a lot of visitors they develop and don't have visitors they go bankrupt and die, regardless of whether the world economy is bad or good, example: The Impact of Online Casinos on the World Economy.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 23, 2022, 02:07:07 PM
My personal take. This fight will happen since this is a big fight and should be very easy for Spence. Spence should be able to stop this past-prime version of Thurman or at least win an easy unanimous decision if he wants to stay safe.
At first glance I see Thurman continuing to practice to anticipate and hone his skills, if Thurman & Spence officially box in the ring in the future, Thurman understands quite well some of Errol Spence's attacks on his opponent.

I remember that at that time Thurman had refused Spence's offer, but if you look at the events that have happened between the two of them, it is clear whether this boxing is official or not depends on Errol Spence's decision, if he hadn't made fun of or held a grudge against Thurman a while ago.

Some experts and boxing experts predict, if Errol Spence forgets what happened between the two and Errol Spence doesn't hold grudges and is selfish in this boxing, of course he will get the best ticket to fight Thurman in the future, that's all if Spence doesn't change his mind.
1815  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you agree that an employer should hire employees who are smarter than him? on: November 23, 2022, 01:22:19 PM
What is your view regarding this?
In my view, hiring employees who are smarter than the boss is, of course, one thing and a normal and reasonable decision, there are many factors and advantages from an economic point of view, hiring employees like that, for the reason that the capabilities or expertise possessed by these employees are different, of course each of them masters the field of work.

I'm not sure, if all areas of work can be mastered by one employee who exceeds the superior, there are certain provisions where the superior does not understand in that field of course the employee understands it, However, my understanding is that the boss is not stupid in all areas of work in the company, if he is stupid, he definitely can't start the company from scratch, one or two areas that they are not good at and employees who are smarter than the boss are normal and common in companies, but not all fields.

As a whole and the fact of hiring smart employees from the boss in certain fields, which will definitely benefit the company economically / assets, for me it is reasonable and worthy to be employed.
1816  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for November on: November 22, 2022, 02:48:07 PM
So the question now is will this momentum continue for November or will it fizzle out and bring BTC back to 18k - 19k range?  I made the poll a yes or no question as I want a clearer sentiment this time.
Today is 22/11/22, meaning eight more days into December and Bitcoin is trading at around $16k for 22/11/22, I speculate the crypto market will experience even more severe decline until entering year 23, of course I speak beyond the charts and speculation on the internet, I speak based on my own analysis and speculation.

What is certain is that crypto users don't have to believe what I say, you have to have your own principles for the continuation of the crypto and Bitcoin market in the coming days.

What you said today is very far for the price of Bitcoin in November $ 16k comparison to 18k, I believe Bitcoin will reach at $ 14k- in the next month, it could be my range around $ 12k, that's my observation.
1817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling unethical? on: November 22, 2022, 02:18:32 PM
Is gambling unethical?
Behavior, beliefs, morals, principles, social normals of a person have different ethical standards, many people in this world act and do things selfishly, regardless of the religion they adhere to and their respective faiths, that's a principle, You bet gambling is principle.

In general and as a whole they know gambling is a risk and many think that being involved in gambling is wrong and bad, many problems occur when you are already involved and addicted to gambling, apart from losing their money, family risks can also occur at any time.

Gambling is very clearly an unethical act, but if you believe in the Bible and believe in your faith and religion, of course you can carry out gambling behavior that is ethical, morally you can have normal principles of right action, without having to bet and gamble.

bottom line: no one is forcing someone to bet and gamble, whatever their religious beliefs, those are all principles and behaviors.
1818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I Am So Done With Betting Until.... on: November 22, 2022, 01:39:46 PM
I think I am one of the unluckiest gambler/bettor out here, today is one of my worst days again and I think I should quit betting.
@Fivestar4everMVP, that's the risk of betting, gambling like that, today where many bettors fell because they lost to Argentina, the 2022 world cup Saudi Arabia made an impressive appearance on the field before, this is the history of the top in the World Cup, after the victory that was won by the Saudi Arabian team with a score of 2-1, everyone was shocked today, I think many bettors got mentally hit today.

Today Saudi Arabia is in the spotlight at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, by defeating Argentina, today before the match started the odds for Saudi Arabia are up to $ 1x $ 25, just imagine if a user places a bet of only $ 100 he will bring home $ 2500, amazing, indeed this is something that gamblers don't think about, they all score for Argentina, @Fivestar4everMVP patience, I'm sure you will succeed in football betting the next day, cheers.
1819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share your Crypto experience. on: November 22, 2022, 01:17:44 PM
I am just wondering if those who have been involved with crypto for a few years at least could share their experience and offer any advice for those new like myself?
Investment is good, generally Chinese people have taught their children from an early age, if you already understand crypto, of course investing in crypto is a good step, but investing is not in a short time, it's not an investment, you can't make too much for the 1-2 weeks you invest.

Trading on the crypto market may be good to do within 1-2 weeks, depending on the market movement on the type of crypto you are trading, remember trading has a high risk of losing your money, trading requires expertise and trading knowledge, such as: understanding of charts, analysis, volume, market, and so on, you can't trade carelessly it will be fatal.

My advice: if you invest in the crypto market do it in the long term, not short term.
1820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the host draw in the ceremony match? on: November 21, 2022, 03:10:26 PM
Thus, Ecuador has won which had some players accused of being bribed by the losing team which is the host team, Qatar.
I'm sure the bribery news is just a hoax, we can see from the seriousness of the Ecuador players yesterday against Qatar, even though in the first half there was a bit of tension in the first goal which ended offside, The Ecuador team knows and appreciates that they are playing against the host, but yesterday we all saw that Ecuador was not in a state of bribery, even though the news said that there were 8 Ecuadorian players involved, the facts spoke on the field Ecuador 2-0.

We'll see where this development will go further or the issue will just die eventually.
No, this case is 'dead' there is no development, Qatar is providing the field and tournament at the 2022 world cup this time, not as the host of the players, 2-0 has been scored, the bribery case is not proven and closed.
