The good thing about the long term investment is, you just buy altcoins and forget about them for a year or so. You do not need to check the price every day. But if the market is going down, it is pretty hard, just to forget about them. But if you have enough patience, you will get huge profits from the long term investment.

Its true. Especially in September. I think if you investigate the project, the chances of you getting scammed will be reduced. Read the whitepaper, check the community stats and look at the team. I also ususally check the rating websites for the better understanding of an ICO. The better times would come soon.
