1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin tax in future on: August 24, 2014, 08:13:53 AM
Dumbass question Cheesy

What if in future, for example in year 2100, the bitcoin will be used by everyone.Working for bitcoins shopping for bitcoins, paying bills,etc.. So if an worker will work for 0.00100000 Satoshi/month, his employer will pay 0.00020000 Satoshi blockchain tax. This is 20% tranzaction fee. Is an huge tax and will ruin economy. And people with big tranzactions means very rich people will pay an infirm amount..  Can this be changed in bitcoin protocol if is needed?

There are some huge tweaks and changes that will be need to be made for BTC to survive.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on the price of btsx ? aka Bitshares X on: July 10, 2014, 06:41:37 PM

I've been slowly investing a little in crypto.  A friend told me about NEM and I already had some BTC.  I've been reading a bit about Bitshares.  I'm still somewhat confused.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Bitshares is a decentralized exchange that has classes of assets beyond the typical crypto based assets?  Somehow they manage to mirror value of commodities etc ?

It seems you can also invest in Bitshares by donating to Angelshares which gives you a stake in all future Digital Autonomous Companies ?  Then there is also Protoshares that does the same thing but you can sell Protoshares ?

Is this worth playing if you do not gamble? Or is it a casino first  ?

That's one measure. Unfortunately for you, we do have some more new measures such as taint analysis + activity analysis to detect people with many accounts. I would consider applying them retrospectively is similar to applying DNA testing to samples from raping cases occurred before the invention of DNA testing. In both instances, they are quite useful, don't you think ?

J23a,

There it is.  THOSE  are Utopianfuture's words. So by being worried about Utopianfuture's threat I am now accused of being a sock puppet ?

I've visited here every couple weeks to see how much closer we are to getting a wallet released.  I thought that having a third wallet to go along is my Dogecoin and BTC would be cool. Now I am seeing that if I don't actively login and post anything I might lose out on my investment. So let down.
Where are you seeing that?

Utopianfuture just said he was going to decide sock puppets by activity and since this account is not active and I do not directly post with bitcointalk then I would likely lose my investment?  what am I not understanding?
