Well, yeah....only 3 darnit.... by the time I get enough BTC for more, the price will be @ the 12500 price.....but maybe BTC will be 2000....Oyeah is 12500 the confirmed price? i kinda thought thats what they would be asking but wasnt sure... yes im debating if i should sell my mercury now or just mine for the next 6 months until neptune is delivered Per O'rama in an earlier post... "Orders will open to gen public in two weeks at $2.5k more. The reward is for previous customers. We would wish to believe they behave with integrity, but will not be held responsible otherwise." Doing some calcs here.... Originally ordered 3 sats.... 850 gh/s max... has now secured me... Batch 1.5...... (650gh/s x 2)+ Neptunes... (3Th/s min x 3)= 10.2+Th/s minimum.... what % increase?... Hang on you ordered 3 Sats but you sold 2 Jupiter's ?? yes, indeed. I was actually comp'd a few October boards and a tee for obvious reasons... But that's a secret... shhhhhhhh btw, I think I've worn this tee since it arrived. It needs washed! I will be wearing mine at the London Bitcoin Expo to promote KNC, hoping they throw a free Neptune for the effort

@CYPER No, the PSU will not have a Mean Time Before Failures of +100000 hours anymore, but will have a MTBF of less than 1000 hours. A hard lesson learn from block erupters. I will stay below 80% of max rating of PSU.
Why would you assume that? Good quality PSU are designed with components in excess of the advertised wattage. If you ask Cooler Master or Corsair they will confirm that. Back in 2011 I have mined with HX850 for 4 months with 850W at the wall and then sold it to a fellow miner, who has been mining with it for a long time.

Our little 3Th/s rigs will be little plastic Hess trucks compared to the big ones in the real world. Do you have any idea how much the difficulty needs to be in order for your words to turn true? Here are some simple numbers for you: For a 3TH/s machine to make 0.1BTC daily we need a difficulty of 15 billion. A difficulty of 15 billion = 107374 TH/s 107374 TH/s = 35791 Neptunes Another basic calculation: If you take all the predicted/estimated ASIC pre-orders in this topic: 22117 TH/s And multiply that by 5 just to be on the safe side = 110585 TH/s gets you a difficulty of 15.5 billion Is that simple enough? i like cant stand those bitching 24hours Exactly. These people lack basic math skills. I want to hear a good reason why a difficulty over 10 billion is to be expected in May/June, when all the ASIC hardware ever announced don't even amount to 5 billion. One possible reason to get more then 5 billion difficulty in may: hidden asic producers. In other words D&T estimate could not be considered exhaustive. Sure 10 billions is unlikely and 15 even more. Neptunes can live through 1-2 extra billion and still be profitable at the current exchange rate

I am using 2 Coolermaster V850 to power up 1 Jupiter november batch. All together is pulling 860-865 watt at the wall. Waiting for the rest of the jupiters. DON'T BUY LOWER THAN 1000 WATT PSU
With 855W at the wall a single V850 would be perfectly capable of running a November Jupiter. I will be powering 3 October and 2 November Jupiter with 2x V850 and 2x EVGA 1300W.

Just received my Jupiter (of course coolers fell during transport but no other problem) and i want to ask 'Orama if are we supposed to remove the new metal thing that's right on top of the controller or it's there for improved airflow. I guess not, but i want to be sure.
Hashing at ~672GH (started a few minutes ago)! Thank you KnC!
Please post some pictures

i want too sell my old jupiter, what is the most important thing when the customer pay´s with bitcoins?
Which wallet, how many confirmations, sorry but I m a little bit naive and clumsy, i don´t want to make an misstake.
He will pay 18 BTC
Sorry, almost sounds like you are saying you don't have a wallet? Just use your wallet, wait till its confirmed before sending. He may want to use an escrow service (he sends btc to a third party who holds it until delivery is completed) Either way you need a bitcoin wallet to received the buyers BTC I have an Blockchain wallet since 8 Weeks, how many confirmations are neccesary to give him the jupiter, he will come to my house in the next view hours, if i will do this. 1 is enough. 6 to be perfectly safe

Also sorry buddy but if the coin price crashes next year is not a justifiable excuse for a company to stomach that cost. That's your risk to take buddy. So the decision is yours...
So basically "All refunds will be refunded in dollars and you can refund up to shipment" is a misleading statement and not entirely true. That does sound misleading, but on the other hand, how would you do it better? I am not saying they should offer refunds if BTC was to crash - I realize that can potentially happen and I accept it. But I would not write such bold statements if they are not true. Or at least include a disclaimer so people are fully aware under what circumstances refunds are to be given.

Refund at dollars That's is knc said at site under the miner
They'll take your 12BTC today and when you ask for a refund in April, they'll sell one BTC when it's $10,000/BTC to refund you and make $110,000 profit Ordering today basically means you are selling them your bitcoin for $850-$900. How are you not aware that KNC do not take any BTC from Bitpay?
