1  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / PCI E Kabel on: February 12, 2014, 11:12:32 PM
Hey Miners

I just tried to find a solution to my problem by using the search function but there isn`t been any similiar topic so I hope here are some smart
guys or girls on the way.

I have a R9 290 Mining Ring and I wanted to add another two R9 Cards to the mainboard by using
a pci express extender cable http://www.amazon.de/Express-Adapter-Extender-Flexible-Extension/dp/B008BZBGPO

I conected the cards with the extender cable and started the computer but it did not work. The cards have not been shown
even in the hardware manager.

I dont have any experience with the PCI E Kabel so I hope someone can help me out.

For more information:

Asrock Mainboard
Windows 7
R9 290 Graphikcards
Inter I7

For help I would donate 2k Doge Coins for the solution :-) see it as a small motivation
