So basically the "event," which takes place a month from now, is two devs answering questions on Slack for one hour?

If you like to throw money away then you're an idiot. That's all there is to it. Doesn't matter how rich you SAY you are. Only dumbasses like to waste money.
i never say im rich, im ONLY middle low level, but maybe naive, i believe people is good you do happy bully others do you? 1. btw how much Rise you say you had?2. you guys should really show how you are being scammed, can you? and when you picture your self as a smart 3. what can you get for making Rise look bad? will that make you satisfied or lose even more?4. what you should do to make the community grow healthy? It's one thing to believe in the good of others. It's another to turn a blind eye when you're being scammed. I don't like to call people scammers, but I don't think that the Rise development team is working hard enough for the community. What happened to the frequent updates by Risegal? How about updates on Slack? A buy wall? And the continuing devaluation? All of those are serious red flags.

What? Are you stupid? I have plenty of money. PLENTY. But only a fool likes to throw money away.
we throw money because we can and we afford to throw, it is nothing to my level, i dont have to think so much just like you did, because its not worth plenty to me seems your PLENTY are not on my level, while im only indonesian middle low guy this RISE only need to go to Indonesian market then, any of us indonesian could make Rise high easy so dont have to sacrificing my self alone do bailout for you guys to bail-out, not worthed for me (i dont like dev team in my own reasons, but as long as they are not running, and responsible to what they believe to stay with RISE success as their goal, its worth waiting, success do take times) (and I do LIKE KITCHEN OFFICE, no reason waste unnecessary budget there) (Please deliver progress) If you like to throw money away then you're an idiot. That's all there is to it. Doesn't matter how rich you SAY you are. Only dumbasses like to waste money.

san2ok, this coin is done, better sell now than when the price will be 0.
nah.. personally, i my self ALONE could make RISE back to above 2000satoshi, but im only 1person, any SINGLE indonesian can do what i do to reach 2000satoshi ONLY take 37btc, that is only 37 persons buy 1btc 37persons its to small compared to the whole world THINK.. there is always someone buying when you sell you cant sell anything if no one want to buy it meaning=someone other than me or lonerusher playing the price with panic, keeping the price down i assure you guys, this price is NOTHINGyou must be very stupid or a newbie. You are basing your statement on the market depth which is a very foolish thing to do. I can assure you 100% that if the price goes up, more and more sellers will want to get out of this dump. So it will take 200BTC + to move the price to even 1000sats. i realize now seems most of you guys are poor, i dont blame your destiny, please just go die hard work in peace which part you dont understand? im just 1person and from INDONESIA which most of you think we are poor, all we need is ONLY 37persons to GARBAGE 1btc, i could throw 40btc easy, so most of indonesian could do that im only 1person and i am nothing in my country even 200btc you claimed is nothing compared to the world unless most of the people in the world is like you destined to be so poor where are you from? i always thought you guys westerner/europe/USA/australia are rich because of your currency worth What? Are you stupid? I have plenty of money. PLENTY. But only a fool likes to throw money away.

Am still holding the coins. Still thinking what to do with the bags. Is it over permanently ?
Can't advise you what to do, but I finally dumped mine. I don't care how many office pictures are being posted. The price is on a steady downward slide and I wanted out. If Rise ever shows any upward movement (which I doubt), I can always buy in for much less than the ICO price.

Regular updates have been promised before, and it just hasn't happened. Everything is always 'coming soon' or 'to be announced.' I'm really sick of it, and I'm very sorry I put any money towards this, but believe me I won't make the same mistake with one of your projects in the future.

Did RiseGal quit or get laid off?
*rises from the dead* Nope, still here. Had a family emergency, sorry for the lack of communication. So glad y'all missed me though. I hope everything is ay-ok with you. Thanks for the concern! Ready to get back to work chatting with all you fine gentlemen We're not all gentlemen. Some of us are the fairer sex.

I'm usually pretty patient about this sort of thing, but I'm getting frustrated with Rise. The updates merely say, "we are almost finished with...." or "we are in the middle of...." An update gives expected dates of completion and details. We should see some movement to justify the project.
It's a two-edged sword. People want frequent updates, but the result of this is that it's often going to be a report of ongoing progress of some of the same things that were reported in the update before, simply because the things the team is working on require more than just a few weeks. More frequent updates doesn't cause development to magically be accelerated. It still takes time to develop something that functions well, is robust, feature rich, secure, stable, scalable. Rushing developments prematurely to market without extensive auditing doesn't do anyone favors either. Expect audit reports to be released on Code and Web security in the next 2 weeks. I don't mind the same things being repeated a couple of times. What I do mind is handing a dev team any amount of BTC and seeing almost nothing happen. I never invest what I can't afford to lose, this is getting more than a little foolish. Things should be moving more swiftly than they are. It's a fact and I don't know that anybody here is happy with this.

This thread is pretty lame. A bunch of comments from people who know nothing about Syscoin, which is actually a cryptocurrency with some pretty game changing features for ecommerce. Get real info on Syscoin at http://www.syscoin.orgAnd check out the Syscoin bitcointalk thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=757255Get real on Syscoin, it's shaping up to be a big one You might want to pay some attention to the dates on this thread before making sweeping comments. I was a very early supporter of Syscoin, and I think I know a little about it.

I'm not one to join in the negative talk usually, but some of these observations are accurate. Rise has shown very little movement and is still below ICO price. At the very least we should be hovering around ICO.

I received my coins. This has been the smoothest launch I've ever been a part of. Thanks for the good work!

This whole issue delayed my schedule.. I'm almost done calculating balances.. I need some sleep first.. Tomorrow wallets/source will be released and we can finally get things rolling.. Thanks to all who understand the current situation.. Unfortunate timing.. Really.. Keep watching this thread tomorrow for updates Looking forward to it, and I understand perfectly. You're doing a great job.

Losing 50% of my investment does not feel good at all. It's going to be difficult for Rise to bounce back up to ICO prices.
